Another game using Dante's Inferno and elevators! Great minds think alike, clearly. The art and music are great, the characters are funny and the little costumes are hilarious. The demon is hot 10/10. My one issue is that the minigame feels way too long- there's a lot of dead space between segments.

good execution, i enjoyed it (although i didn't finish). some additional stuff that i feel like would really liven the game up are indications of when you get the note right (both visual/auditory) and maybe some sort of indication of how long the rhythm portion is?

I couldn't make it past B2 (I guess due to a previous choice), which is fine because B2 is pretty much the hell I'd stay at anyway :D

Seriously though: This offers so much great art, humour, a great theme and CLIPPI <3 I will definitely try it a second time later on and tell my more VN-liking friends of this. I personally felt the minigame wasn't really bringing anything interesting to the table (except the awesome music) and have to agree with SandToise there that they feel a tad long.

Other than that though: Great effort, great art, great humour, great game!

@trexxak So glad you like the music <3 I think if we do a post-LD update I will definitely be redoing all of the note maps to be more interesting!

@james-kusardi Totally agree on the indicators of hitting a note, thank you for the suggestion :)

Everything here was top-notch. Great art, audio, humor, and interesting story. The only critiques I have are: a) it wasn't clear at the beginning that I'm supposed to be "bad", so the first option felt really forced. Later, I understood the purpose more, so it made sense, but maybe it could be more clear that you're "giving in"? b) Personally, I didn't like the rhythm game at all. And I like rhythm games, I've even made one for a previous jam, but this one was boring, unintuitive, and really felt like it took away from the game. I dreaded each time I'd enter the elevator thinking "Please no rhythm game".

Those critiques aside, I really enjoyed the game and the ending felt good.

This game has great graphics, funny story, and the theme was right on. The only thing that took me out of the vibe was the elevator rhythm mini games. Besides that, this game is solid for something done so quickly great job.

5x:star:

The writing is super, the art is great, the music is totally radical, and the theme interpretation is spot-on. Well done!

Only issues I had was that several levels had long pauses while it showed the title (loading I guess). And that 1234 was kind of an awkward place to put my hand.

Well done, thanks for the fun game! :smiling_imp:
