This made me laugh so hard! Great work!
@izhvaryag Thanks! There's two end states, one when your poor plant dies and another when you're beautiful plant friend reaches it's full potential
Merci pour ce moment à jouer à votre jeu, je me suis bien amusé :)
Got really dark really fast lol
Good pacing and smooth gameplay. The sprite animations were great, everything was very clear.
One potential feature could be to have the plant have some "defences" as it levels up. Maybe have a chance of eating an attacking villager, though the health was quite forgiving.
Overall really enjoyed, great entry!
Really good game. Especially the humor about it all is really good!
I would prefer the villagers with torches to not just spawn next to the plant so I can plan better when to get them and do more decisions on my pathing.
All in all the game is a lot of fun!
This game is so meta. Thanks for the Review, I got to return the favor and play one of the best games in the competition, hands down!
"give a baby to the plant", well that escale quickly ! Nice game, good job on the voice of Gunther had a lot of fun to play it, Good Job!
Poor citizens and animals; Was a fun game! I could not survive the case "Dog", because those villagers just keep spawning and having too many tasks to be done at the same time. Also Same short and looping background music is working, but bad in the long run. Graphics are simple, but awesome at the same time. It was fun to see that plant growing up and the plant is away from the city, and the main character: when put on a white robe, it is like a revealed scientist
I love it! Super silly, the voice acting is great. Game is solid. Some weird visuals sometimes and you can see the seems between tiles. Overall, great work though!
Feed me, feed me Seyumor! I like this game, I don't think there's much to say about it, just a solid straight forward and funny entry. Very nice work, I got the bad end first then I tried to get the good end and i did it, but at what cost?
OMG This game is GREAT! The voice acting is great! Unlike what the others said up top, I wasn't able to see seams between tiles (Windows 10 running the HTML5 version in FireFox) However, if you're using Godot, which I believe it said you were, check project settings and under 2D there should be a "use pixel snap" option, which *should* prevent tiles from not being aligned properly. The only complaint I have is that I feel as though the game should pause when you bring up the quest journal. That's basically the ONLY negative I have about this game, other than (so far) I haven't been able to win... But I'm about to play it again and see lol
Not sure what possessed you to make this game but alright... xD Kidding of course, really great work, in terms of legitimate critiques, the choice of controls was a bit odd, what I mean is you play with just one hand and I found that weird. Furthermore, as advertised, there were gaps in the pixels... That was also strange... Regardless, nice game!
@rubixnoob13 @balgorode
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, Godot seems to have some issues with tile seams on some configurations, none of the PCs we tested on had the issue so we didn't notice :(
Thanks for the feedback!
Was able to lose the game properly  Great game, had a great laugh! Love the voice! I did another try and let the plant die right away. What a terrible little plant
Yay I lost! Silly idea and good execution. My main complaint is that WASD + E feels akward to use in these type of games where you don't use mouse.
BRILLIANT! When I heard original voices, I already knew it - you got me with this game, 3x yes! Audio as said is amazing because of the voice. The idea - witty. Winning by losing? Clever!
PS. And tile tearing is not only Godot's problem, some OpenFL/HaxeFlixel games as well (https://haxeflixel.com/demos/FlipRotationAnimationTiles/).
Liked the voice overs and the dialogue boxes. A nice little game!
Funniest game I've played, had a lot of fun playing it :) The level of difficulty felt right too, so I feel like you balanced that very well.
Really well done!
