It took some time to get used to it, but it grew on me real quick haha. I like it, great job!
Game was buggy for me for some reason and the item menu did not work. I love the concept and game design though and would love to see it fixed.
Nice game! Quite fun, just think you could make it change direction slower.

I like the idea a lot but the physics and movement need a bit of polish. Definitely made me laugh when I crashed into something and the car went flying off :)
Good idea and fun game. A little buggy, the instructions text flickers which makes it hard to read. But it's pretty fun once you get used to it.

the concept is fun, but it's really hard to tell what's going on and how stuff works, and the weird camera spin at the start can really throw you off.
Cool idea. Controls were very touchy. Spins you around at the start. If you ignore that it was a lot of fun trying to stay on the road with those controls.
Like the concept, but the camera kept messing with me and the overall movement feels slippery? Still - good job tho!

Simple game. Some feedback. Controls feel drifty and buying the toys are not very intuitive i cant seem to buy anything and even when my boredom bar is maxed i can still play. In the loading screen the "tips" at the top goes crazy. The camera seems too low - you should probably allow the player too look further/higher. When i crash, it takes too long to show the retry button!
I also got in to a point where my game "lags" and my score doesnt go up and i cant restart the game.

A little bit hard for me. Some glitches between road blocks. Texture on right corner of the car seems overlapping. Game idea is great.
It's been months now. The car has stopped spinning and I can only just see the road. My child is dead. And soon I will be too. At least I have these keys to play with while I wait for my inevitable doom...

Things I liked: Creative concept, consistent art style. Things I disliked, vehicle controls seemed a bit "floaty". It was difficult to control. Overall, good job!
@phpgator Thanks for playing, we did want the car hard to control but I think we could hit that balance between floaty and fun🙂. We probably should adjusted the speeds and worked the movement a little bit. Once we finished the code for movement ant it “worked”, we were like good enough lol.

Fantastic game, well done to the team! This would make for a fantastic mobile game I reckon! Random note if you take it forward, I found it a little difficult to see everything as it's red/green, but was still able to play :) car.png

Interesting concept, but the controls felt pretty "floaty" and hard to control, which made the game feel unfairly difficult. Also, the textures on the road were really glitchy for me.
ah, I see that you based on a tutorial from Brackeys. Game is not great, not terrible. You get a plus for making your own music. Steering was kind of "too smooth", i think you know what i mean :) and colliders of cash are too small, you could put them a little in front of the object so that it would be easier to collect them by car. And you could have made it more clear that it was money. At first I avoided them because I thought they were obstacles. :smiley:
@maryush28 Suprisingly the only part from the tutorial we used was the movement script, although we did have to change some things for the level generation to work with it. We couldn't strike a balance with the controls(we have gotten that feedback before as well). Also trust me your not the first to avoid the money. Thanks for playing
Oh wow the controls are sensitive! I keep crashing lol I would sugguest tonight them down a little bit as the game is pretty hard to play at the moment. Fun game though and it made me have quite a few goes at it to try and beat the game!! Cool music too.

I really like the idea of keeping your child alive from bordom, clever idea! It didnt seem like clicking on keys or the toys did anything though, even when i had more then enough coins? Other then that it is great!

You got a great idea for the theme. But i really think that some improvement on the controls would help the game a tone. It would be nice to hear some sound effects after you collected the cash. Also adding an animimation of car steering would make the game look a lot better. In the end game is really fun but with some changes in UI and correction of the controls you could make a great mobile game and release it on play store.
The art was really good, but the sensitivity was off the charts! A little less sensitivity in movement, and some obstacle variation would be my main improvements, but it was definitely amusing!
@taximan981 We forgot to metion that you have to wait for the slider at the bottom to complete. Once you press the button it will start moving and then will remove some boredom. Thanks for playing!!
This game made me seriously doubt if its safe for me to have kids, otherwise neat concept.
The slidey controls really made this dangerous. Great concept. Loved that the camera turned 180 in the menu for maximum danger.

Cool concept, certainly a challenging game, I kept crashing! Nice music also, not an easy thing to get done for a game jam.
I managed to get 10000 units i believe and it was a struggle. Buying things didn't seem to take money which confused me. bought my kid quite a few tablets lol. good game!
I think the concept is good and creative, but the gameplay is not quite doing it for me. I think if I were to suggest something to improve it, I would want to be able to control my car while looking back at the kid. I also would want there to be obstacles in the middle of the road so I couldn't just go straight in the middle. Good effort though!
@royalsoup Hey Thanks for playing! We removed controlling the car while looking back because we wanted you to have to commit to looking backwards. We didn’t have any obstacles in the middle for testing but forgot to add some at the end of the jam. 🤦🏾‍♂️
music was very load for me when playing in browser so a volume slider in the menu would be nice, otherwise a fun game am the camera rotation while in the boredom windows was nice

Nice concept, I love games where you collect money and buy upgrades. I think then player controller could be a bit more responsive and "snappy". Nice graphics and overall well done!

@gamer-fates the game should only take a couple seconds at most to load. Glad you like the game. Controls were hard for us to make responsive and challenging.

I thought it would be easy to open the boredom window and keep driving... well... I didn't expect the camera to completely flip around x) I liked how simple the idea was and having to be observant for all obstacles!
Controls are a bit rough and took me some time to get used to the speed of the car. But the idea is great and it is challenging.
The graphics is bad, it is hard to play, so... not gonna lie to you, i don't really like the game

Interesting idea!
Some suggestions for improvement: - The money doesn't really look like money - it looks like an obstacle. I think round coins might've helped! - The controls feel pretty floaty. - Sound effects! Especially for "kid gets bored". Not because I necessarily want to be annoyed by the kid all the time (although I think that would fit well into the game ;) ), but because I want a signal before I go game over.
And I wonder if you could've somehow removed the somewhat artificial "game just ends when kid is super bored" lose condition entirely and instead made it harder to drive properly the more bored the kid is. Maybe it kicks the back of the seat, causing screen shake? Or maybe it hits your arms, making the car swerve? Or it throws things at the windshield that you have to clear or that cracks/defaces it permanently? You get the idea.
