Literally keeping a console alive by making a game where you have to keep that console alive has to be one of the most creative approaches to theme i've seen yet. nice job!
i like how you can still walk around and destroy stuff even after you've won.
Very great concept for a game, it was really fun and i did play it more than once. I really like how it's a puzzle game that's always different, although some of the sounds the caveman made really got on my nerves.
I like how you try to keep things more varied with the wind and power ups, even if it's not that challenging.
the concept is fun, but it's really hard to tell what's going on and how stuff works, and the weird camera spin at the start can really throw you off.
this has to be one of my favorites so far! Draining robots to get back energy is a really cool feature and reminds me of the "one mechanic solves multiple problems" thing. The controls were also sorta like Binding of Isaac which is always a plus in my book. Although i couldn't get past the giant maze-like stage (which i assume is probably the final), no flaws really stood out to me.
Surprising amount of depth for a game jam game, very addictive. I love how sassy the shop owner gets when you linger around for too long. One of my favorites so far.
having to keep the stage itself alive is a very fun concept, although it feels like you can't really do much against it with how many of those things are heading towards it.
very unique concept, I'm kinda jealous of people who can come up with ideas like this that quickly.
this was surprisingly fun, though i found it weird how the slimes don't reset when you die.
I like how there's two things you have to keep track of in similar ways. I didn't survive very long but the short time playing was pretty fun.
Well that was sad. The most obvious thing to do for this theme would be games where you have to survive or protect something, so seeing more of a storytelling approach was definitely a nice change of pace.
Very good idea, although in the more complex stages it can be a bit confusing as to which object you're gonna possess, especially when you have to react quickly.
this is fun concept, yet weirdly dark, although it is kinda hard to tell when it's safe to hand over the paper.
The best way to stop the disease from spreading is to destroy all trees, prove me wrong.
Very simple yet fun. Gotta love how you can shoot backwards by pointing inside the earth.
I'm not sure if it's only on the browser version, but the fact that you had to start all over again when you died was quite a pain. I really like the reverb effects, though.
kinda disappointing, the title screen art is great and so is the concept, but the graphics look like they're purely placeholders and the controls feel very clunky and janky. With more work this concept could definitely make for a good game, though.
Very unfortunate you lost motivation despite the short time frame, this was definitely an interesting take on the theme, and it was more fun than i expected.
i think it would be nice if you were given a bit of time to react at the start of each screen. But to me, the fact that other people's games might be better is not really an excuse to quit. If you don't practice, you won't even get the chance to be as good, after all.
Very interesting idea, was very fun to play.
@bmacintosh well, i wouldn't be so sure about the moon being scientifically accurate considering how close it is. But about the with difficulty not increasing, i was considering adding some kind of system that would do that, but i wasn't sure how i would handle it, and there were already some situations were it felt like you couldn't do much. Plus the game was already pretty fun as is, so i just left it like that.
@tpzombie nice, my highscore is 254180, it took a lot of patience and i don't expect anybody to get that high.
@wekaj That's probably because of the soundfont, cause i actually told the guy who made the music that he could listen to star fox music for inspiration, neither him nor me really play final fantasy games.
@jonathan-lorenz Yeah, that was the original plan, but i wasn't quite sure how i'd exactly handle it so i just left it as it was, which gave me more time to add more polish.
