Nice twist on a tried and tested game mechanic.
Pretty cool and fun, really enjoyed it. I just wish you could hit the balloon from the side! :)
I really like the sound being made when you hit the ballon. Also the arrow indicator for the ballon position is quite cool.
My highscore was 33. The wind got me pretty much every time.
Well executed, with cute graphics, good physics, intuitive controls, and a clear concept that relates to the theme. I found it very difficult, but that's ok. Sometimes it wouldn't bump - it seemed like maybe the head was the only active collision option. It might have been a little more forgiving :-). Good work! I like the music.
Awesome concept! I really like the feeling of hitting the balloon and thrusting it upwards. Pretty difficult game though, I felt like there were some pretty unforgiving situations with the platforms if the balloon is thrusted to the sides
both frustrating and addictive, great potential for a hyper-casual android game, you nailed the theme and i like the graphics only problem is the character feels a bit dull, but it's still very impressive as a compo entry especially the menu, over all it's a solid 4/5
btw my high score is 42
Quite difficult!
What worked: - Interesting gameplay design - The wind "event" is great, it provides needed variety. - Powerups are also a nice touch.
What can be improved: - The collision seems a bit finicky. A lot of times if I hit the balloon on a narrow angle my head wouldn't seem to collide.
Overall nice job!
My personal goal was to reach 100 points, and after a lot of hardcore training, wind analysis and balloon physics calculations, I managed to reach 119 points. Not quite the 307, but I hope I can keep that second place.
So yeah, this is a very nice arcade game, you jump in, you play, you jump in again, if it was on a real machine, I'd have lost quite a few quarters. What stood out to me was how well-polished it was, like the balance between powerups, wind appearance and I think even the platform placement. It always felt like a challenge, but also always possible to win. I thought that was cool. It also felt very satisfying to hit the balloon, I think because of both the physics and especially the sound effects, so good job tweaking those. All in all, great job!
I like how you try to keep things more varied with the wind and power ups, even if it's not that challenging.
I'm really bad a platformers, but the graphics and sound effects make me really happy :D
You know what? Not too bad...I can say confidently that this game...this game right here...impeccable. Good job on the game my boy.

Solid entry. Fun spin on a simple concept
My highscore was 142! Thanks for this game! It's quite fun! Good technique involved and it really does feel like you're pushing a balloon around. All your work came together well and it is a solid entry! I really enjoyed it! As for an improvement, I thought you could make the platform colliders more forgiving in terms of jumping. Basically making them wider so you can jump even when your a few pixels completely off the platform (not visually noticible but feels really good to play). Overall, really good, fun game!
This is a great game! Love the idea (instanst childhood memories of keeping a balloon in the air) and the variete with the wind and power ups is great. Just as a minor point, I don't think the music fits very well, as it sounds more quit and introverted, but maybe that's just me. I really don't know what else could be improved, as this is a round, solid entry.
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!
