Lots of fun :)
neat idea!
Lot of fun playing this! Well play for the sound track!! And just I dont get how to finish the game but I got the hamer and destroy the factory it was cool lol
i like how you can still walk around and destroy stuff even after you've won.
This was surprisingly solid. One of the better uses of the theme that I have seen so far. Control wise I wonder about being able to hold the mouse down but maybe that throws off the thrusting. Just a thought.
Nice clean graphics and being able to break the wooden walls (with some elasticity) is so awesome!
I think this was an interesting little game. my only real complaints are that the controls felt sluggish.
Other than that, the game was pretty good. it has some nice polish and is very focused.
Keep up the good work and see you next Dare!
I lovee the graphics! The game feels great and I love the idea and an amazing entry!
Loved the destructible environment. Nice game!
Gotta say I really like how clean the game looks. Very sharp! The controls were very responsive and the game was not hard to figure out, so good work on that. Not my cup of tea as far as gameplay but I can tell a lot of work went into this so great job!
Nicebut sometimes boring.
I really enjoyed the ability to destroy almost everything in the game, but what I didn't like as much was the snail paced movement. Pumping up the speed by a few integers would up the enjoyment by, not really a lot, but a little bit.
It was a really great game overall!
Nice work, crisp visuals that remind me of a bunch of flash games! Like others have said, tightening and speeding up movement would be something to consider.
nice work ^^
Something was relaxing about your entry. Good job, well done!
Good work! The game have really cool graphic style, excellent gameplay (smashing the walls was pretty fun to me) and it really was about the theme "keep it alive" like "keep town alive". Really good game) Good luck with other games!
I enjoyed playing this game. Nice mood. A little bit too slow for my taste.
The destructibility of everything felt great and the give the walls, etc., had was awesome. The first time I think I didn't destroy/collect enough of the factory to win, but the 2nd time I did. Still couldn't figure out how to quit besides alt-f4, but other than that, loved it!
You went with a modest scope, but polished the heck out of it, and the result is very smooth and respectable, congrats!
Really nice game, nice feels and graphics, and a brilliant take on the idea. 2 small things could improve the experience by a lot, in my opinion: - some sort of a feedback when you start to destroy / move objects - a bit quicker base movement speed on the player character, he is sooooooo slow, and time is of the essence in this game :)
GJ, really enjoyed it ^_^
Really awesome and impressive for the time. I must admit that I didn't understand the win condition though
pretty fun game, topdown reminds me of hotline miami
Very good game! Really liked the destructible environment even though it was a bit buggy sometimes. Would love to see more of this game!
Nice entry. The sound was really satisfying and clean graphics were enjoyable. As others have said, the movement is just a bit too slow. Is that part of your difficulty calculations or something else? Great game!
Thank you all for your feedback and comments so far! I appreciate you taking the time to check out our game!
@kassjak @aj-jones @marcin-godzina @guladam @hwaet You are right, the movement speed is really slow. The reason for that came from the difficulty of balancing the physics - if I allow the player to move any faster, they can get enough momentum to break certain things just by walking into them. I'd have had to make another balance pass over all the breakables and weapons, and unfortunately there wasn't time. So be wary of letting the physics engine control the progression of your game!
Now that's some old school GTA mood! I well polished game that you should work on even after Ludum Dare! Only suggestion to make the player stand out a bit more..maybe have a small hand movement when walking..You could eeven use the same sprites you have for hitting things!
Good game! Like the cartoony graphics and sound. I like the breaking mechanics idea. I think it would be good if the player moves faster ( or may be a 'run' button ). I think we should destroy the factory to win the game? Some more explanation about the goal and the gameplay may be helpful.
