I think it's actually a pretty nice relaxing game ^^ Though, I would have loved some music in the background ! It reminded me a kind of road trip game, but on a plane :D The controls you chose are interesting, so I got used to them pretty fast. At first I didn't understand that birds were "enemies", but after my first death I got it right.

Your game was a lot of fun ! Reminds me a bit of Overcooked (Maybe the name of your game comes from it ?), the sounds are cool and the idea too. However I had a hard time understanding how to put items in your basket. I had the basket in my hands during like 40 seconds before dropping it and trying to pick items XD

Ok so I just tried your game and first of all let me tell you that I find the artstyle pretty great, good job ^^
But I must admit that I encountered the same problems as the others : The trees are hiding some elements, and even if I did succeed to put some items on the table (I even restarted the game twice to fully understand it, I had too because snow was blocking my path after some time, nice idea by the way !) I never succeeded to craft anything :(
I would love to see some progress on this game in the future ^^

The models were good looking and the camera angle you chose for your game was interesting. However, I think the character's movements were a bit slow and the buildings very spaced out, so it was quite long to move from a building to another.

I think I just froze the game when I went to the "Can you defend yourself ?" :( I ran into all the lights and then they all turned purple. I collected them but then nothing more happened :(
Other than that, to what I've seen the game looks great, the colors are quite beautiful and the sound does the job. Good work overall ^^
Ok so I just played your game and the first thing that I really loved are the controls ! Pretty hard to understand at the beginning but after that god, it feels so cool ! When unzooming you really feel like you're alone in this deep, dark and big space. The feeling is right where it should be and that is great !
Now, I must admit that the enemies just destroyed my ship XD They fire way more than me and, more over, my own bullets collide with their bullets, which makes it impossible for me to hit them. I think you should look into this issue if you want more "win conditions" ^^
Anyway, the idea and the game in itself is great, you can be proud of you for achieving this in such a short time !

Well, I understood pretty fast how to play (because I read your explanations here :D ) but I got stuck because the blue button would always stay pressed. That just blocked the game or forced me to make wrong choices to carry on playing.

I made a score of 114 ^^ I don't know if it's great or not, but I can say that I had quite some fun playing your game :)
However, I think it would have been a bit better if I could erase some buildings or, even better, if I replace an older building with a new one, that it doesn't count in the building's counter. Because I lost some points because of that :p

Interesting little puzzle-game. The movement of your character got rid of my patience some time since I missed platforms because of it and had to start all over x) But other than that, the graphics are fine looking and the music is pretty relaxing.

The game in itself isn't very difficult (I just pressed space and went always forward, I always killed enemies lol) but the retro art style, the music, the effect, all was so cool !! That's kind of original, I must admit that I liked it and that I played it 3 times to make 3 different songs !
Overall I'd say it's a nice idea that you could maybe develop more (for a release why not ?), but what you should do is give hints to play about the tone of the note (for exemple, red notes are more for low notes and blue ones are for high notes).
More over I used a catchy music for my game too, but I must admit that yours is clearly cool too :D

Oh my god I really loved your game ! At first I didn't quite understand it all (probably cause am not that good at puzzle games) + I think all your buttons were not working (especially the "move in front" and "move in back" button) but otherwise god the animations were so great and the theme of your game was pretty unique !

I played for about 10 minutes so here's my impression : - At first I was like "Wtf ? My right click power doesn't do anything" - But then after only right clicking I noticed it pushed away "Unrevealed" blocks + hurting enemies. So I was like "Ok this is cool, but what's the goal ?" - Then after some times, there was too much enemies and I felt really oppressed XD
So overall, I like the evolution of the feelings given by this game. At first we feel alone and then we would love to be alone again at the end :D

It's really nice work, I understand why you said you had hard time finishing it for the compo !
Though if I can make some feedback, the fire progression is way too fast, think about the fact that the player needs to understand how to play, try the items, or whatever. For my first run I lost precious seconds in the beginning and I was trapped after opening my first chest :D Even though it doesn't kill me instantly, I lost hp too easily.
The boss animations are awesome, I really liked the fights :)

@blint6 Very nice criticism, thanks a lot for this ! I agree that it's more of a typing game, though the rythm to follow was the different parameters from the notes : Speed, instance speed, "wave" degree, ... Maybe the term rythm was inappropriate. Thanks again for this kind feedback !
@hajden Yeah I had a hard time balancing it, though I worked on the difficulty progression algorythm for about 5 hours :D If the game pleases to a lot of people (like it seems to be the case) I'll take time to rework it a bit ^^
@kristinamay Hey thanks a lot for your kind feedback ! The reason why you lost is because as you progress through the level, the fans become more and more demanding. By this manner, failing a note causes you to loose more and more fans at once. So at a certain point you can loose 6 fans by missing only one note : That may explain why you lost ^^ Moreover, you can't win the game, it's an endless runner. However I must admit that there is some mechanics that I didn't have time to implement, but it will come in a future version probably :) Finally, I know the issue about the line moving and causing the player to loose points no matter what. This is a design question that I didn't have time to fix, but I'll probably look into it since everyone is enjoying the game, I might polish it and release it, I'll see :)

@ktao it's unforgiving if you're playing for quite some time ^^ the difficulty is progressive, you loose more points if you fail late in the stage. I'm glad you loved the game beside that point :D

@purpledartfrog well I worked very hard for this jam, as you might have understood I was alone for this project ! After all, every game requires more or less work, but if you want to know how I achieved this, then let me tell you that I used Unity for the Engine, it provides nice tools to help export to apk file :)
But other than that, getting the 20 ratings required me to try a lot of Games. It's my first Time at Ludum Dare so I wanted to get things done right ! :)

But yeah, it was definitely an Android game. I made a PC Build too but it was clearly not as fun so I decided not to show it :)

Ok so no matter how many times I tried (4) I couldn't finish the first day. Even if I know where trashes locations are (But try to do not forget that in your first game, your player can't know them) searching inside trash takes way too long comparing to how much time you have before the night comes.
Otherwise, you have a nice little game. The controls work fine and we can see that you did great job on your 3D models and sounds.

For the good part : The graphics look great and I like the ambiant. It's not easy to make a narrative game in such a short time, so really great job for this. Now, I must say that the controls are, I think, a bit weird. When we are looking upward it seems like we are flying, I don't know if it's intended or not. + we don't have anything to tell us when we can interact with item (a simple text in the middle of the screen would have done the job I think ^^)
Anyway, it's still great job for a first entry and I can definitely say that you can be proud of yourself ! :)

There is quite some bugs in your game, for example your background is not correctly extended so we can see the camera background, or I fell outside of the game terrain and fell indefinitely.
Other than that, the art is really cute, the music does the job, and it's pretty promising overall. I liked the little scenario at the beginning, though it's a bit long I think :)
Impressive game ! I do think that the slow motion added some twist and, ironically, some dynamics to the game. Overall it makes me think of some mobile games from Voodoo that I actually played some times, however yours got no ads and that's what makes it better ahaha

Projectiles are way too slow, and sometimes it doesn't stop after hitting an enemy so it actually hits multiple enemies ! (Which is fine to me but since it doesn't do it everytime I suppose it's a bug)

To be honest with you, we worked hard to get as close as possible to the extreme stress that you could feel during an exam. Moreover, we had a lot of fun making those animations and, rewarding the supervisor, I spent whole sunday coding its behaviour ! A nightmare :D
Finally, about the text, we struggled to find the right balance between high speed / less time to read and slow speed / less time to play. Not being able to pass the dialogues is part of the gameplay, as it is an additional penalty for having been caught cheating :)

As for the multiple levels, to be honest it was our initial plan, we also had one more feature that we couldn't add. This is due to the fact that first, it's a jam and there is Always things that weren't planned that Comes up and two, Sofy and I both have a full Time job and so we basically got 8 hours less to work on the game ^^
However, we are really proud of the result and are happy to see that you're enjoying it as much as we enjoyed making it !

@rooftopdog @ilimanic The supervisor sees everyone in front of him, up to around the middle of his body. Normally you have a warning when the supervisor is looking at you so you know when you're safe or not ^^

I am aware that the Supervisor needs some tweakings. I took more times working on the AI and it's pathing / catch system rather than its vision system, which was working fine but might be too large. My bad ^^

I have very few experience in sound design but it was very clear in my head about how I wanted the player to feel when playing this game, so I did my best to do it ! Regarding the look to the theme, to be honest I got the idea because my gf has exams coming soon and she is very stressed, so it reminded me about the time when I had exams and I was like "That's so me before coming back home !" aha :D But yeah, with a day less to work, we got really tired from this jam even though we will definitely be part of it again :D

@kaafirookie THX A LOT for these precious feedbacks ! First of all, you must know that if we asked for your feedbacks it's mainly because we loved making this game and we actually want to finish it ! The gameplay is adapted to mobile so we are planning on releasing on mobiles platform.
Now, in response to all your feedbacks, you must know that we ran out of time and we kind of needed to "skip" balance time because Sofy and I both got full time jobs, so we worked whole monday and lost a LOT of time. However, we planned on reworking the Supervisor AI and got a lot of ideas to actually make it more "fair". Additionally, I have very few experience with Sound Design so it was really hard for me to actually synchronize everything ! Finally, I actually keep track of every feedback and even if some of yours were already on the tracks, you made some new remarks that we will definitely take into consideration !

@laura-del-pino Thx a lot for this kind comment ! We worked really hard, especially because we actually had a day less of work because we both have a full time job. But we did our best and are really proud of the result. We are even more happy about the fact that people actually enjoy the game :D
@vesper Thx for your comment ! About the dialogues, we definitely heard you and since we actually decided to carry on working on the game, we actually reworked the whole dialogue feature and yeah, you can skip dialogues now :D :P
@hgcummings Thx a lot for your kind comments ! In case you didn't read the comments above, we decided to carry on working on the game and we reworked some mechanics. The supervisor got reworked and is working slightly different now :)

Positive sides : Cute looking graphics, I liked the art style ! And the model of the "heart" to defend is really nice looking, I loved it ! Negative side : Only one : I could see my mouse cursor during the whole experience and that was really disturbing aha

A quite fun experience ! I didn't understand at first how we aim, so I ended up by just always charging up my harpoon before throwing it... But other than that, lovely graphics and cute idea !

This is actually fun ! I liked the fact that you could find alternative ways by going through the vents.
There was some bugs with some hitboxes some times, but overall the game was real fun ^^

Cute little game ! Even if the gameplay is not that "unique", the sound design fits well and the art is really nice looking ! Since it's your first jam I can definitely say that you did a great job ! Though, you might want to spend a little more time on tweaking your gameplay : your controls are way too fast and are hard to handle ^^

The game is nice looking, the audio is nice to the ears and we can feel your hard work into the game ^^
However, you still need to work on your controls more ! It's really hard to handle and can be quite frustrating :(
