@caps-unlocked Thanks a lot for your kind comment ! We had a lot of fun making this game :D
I really like your take on this theme! Well done!
Nice game, That guy is seriously menacing haha.
I really like this game! The expressive artwork is nice, and I think it's really funny how the supervisor walks exactly like my high school teachers would when they were patrolling a room, haha. The gameplay is relatively tense, which is nice, because that feels like the intent, and I _really_ like how when someone gets caught, you can't pass through their spot anymore. It really incentivizes you to play well.
Overall, the only _real_ complaint I have about the game is that there's no way to speed up or skip the text when it comes up. Although it's funny and adds to the overall game experience, it is a little bit slow. Also, depending on the intent, it might be nice to let the player see the supervisor's vision radius, at least at the beginning. Otherwise, great job!
That school must be at Salem XD Nice job bro!
@dreamcastgh0st thanks a lot for your kind comment !
To be honest with you, we worked hard to get as close as possible to the extreme stress that you could feel during an exam. Moreover, we had a lot of fun making those animations and, rewarding the supervisor, I spent whole sunday coding its behaviour ! A nightmare :D
Finally, about the text, we struggled to find the right balance between high speed / less time to read and slow speed / less time to play. Not being able to pass the dialogues is part of the gameplay, as it is an additional penalty for having been caught cheating :)
Thanks a lot for playing !
Hi, is the html5 link dead because you upload a rar file instead of zip file therefore itch.io can not load your game correctly in browser?
Hhahahaaaa,
That was great! I was legitimately scared by that teacher/death-eater. Wife also busted up laughing at me as I made mistakes ....
My only wish is that there was more. After the first classroom, the second would have more seats, missing chairs, etc.
Great Artstyle! @Sofy35-> :thumbsup: :art:
@foursay hey it's actually not broken, it's just my mistake I wrote HTML5 link where as in fact it's a .exe ^^ I'll change it as soon as possible thx !
Really funny game! very creative take on the theme.
@exevirus It gives me a huge smile on my face knowing that you and your family enjoyed our game !
As for the multiple levels, to be honest it was our initial plan, we also had one more feature that we couldn't add. This is due to the fact that first, it's a jam and there is Always things that weren't planned that Comes up and two, Sofy and I both have a full Time job and so we basically got 8 hours less to work on the game ^^
However, we are really proud of the result and are happy to see that you're enjoying it as much as we enjoyed making it !
This is veeery intense! I'm glad I didn't go to this school. That supervisor is crazy! I really like the concept of losing a junction to send notes when you screw up. This could definitely be made into a much larger classroom, where eventually you would only have a few routes to send the notes. Great work!
@kingmatthew thanks a lot for your kind comment ! You can be sure that we wanted to do even more, but Time is not our Friend during game jams :D
this is fun concept, yet weirdly dark, although it is kinda hard to tell when it's safe to hand over the paper.
I really like the game concept and I myself have cheated on some test with professors who were known for their insane skills to detect cheaters. So I think i have some experience in this line of work :D
The art is very fitting and I like the immersive audio. The gameplay itself was enjoyable and rather addicting, I never beat the game though because of one issue. The supervisor seemed to know when I was cheating when his back was turned to me and I lost the game every single time right at the end because of it. While I got away with cheating with him a couple rows down and facing towards the classs. I would say this issue just made it hard to know when I'd be able to cheat which gave it some less consistency. Does this help or hurt the game? I think as a game the random movement is enough and having issues telling when I can consistently cheat makes it feel bad when you lose when you feel you really should've gotten away with it.
Overall it's a really nice entry and I had a lot of fun!
@low-mana thx for your kind comment ! I agree that the game is pretty and to be honest with more time we would have balanced it with pleasure !
@exevirus Thank you very much :) The true it that I was always laughing when I was drawing characters ^^ As @kanonix said, we planed to add more content and thought about new levels to add... But... time ! :) Maybe later !
@low-mana I was thinking the same damn way when I try the game aha ! The secret is... Be patient when you want to cheat B-)
Never quite understood how the teacher detected me, ended up playing super safe because of all the time available and managed to win. Really fun dialogue!
It’s a very good and fun game, but sometimes it’s not clear when to pass the paper, the teacher can notice even when he is standing with his back.
I love the artwork, the sound worked quite well. The gameplay was easy to understand and worked really well, it was also challenging enough to be interesting. I also just really like the story/humour/characters.
@rooftopdog @ilimanic The supervisor sees everyone in front of him, up to around the middle of his body. Normally you have a warning when the supervisor is looking at you so you know when you're safe or not ^^
Am happy that you enjoyed the game, thanks a lot for playing !
Really cool game, I really like the games where you need to cheat and sneak. Reminds me of the flash game classroom.
@pandepic Thanks a lot for this kind comment ! :D
Hahaa great character drawings and axpressions!
I think it's a very creative game,good!
@mirsakka @nineteen thank you for your feedback ! It was very cool to work on these characters :)
I have lot of fun playing this fantastic game! One of the best!It makes me go YES!
@mikydev Thx a lot for your kind comment ! It means a lot to us :)
Hey, I did enjoy your Game.
Interesting mechanic, but it would be awesome if you improved those sounds. Nice!
Cool game, i was not able to win played couple of times so a bit challenging to start with. I feel like the game is dictating what action i should take next rather than having a free will in the game if you know what i mean. Else good job on art work and music.
Both graphics and mechanics are on spot and i realy enjoyed your entry! Good job
@sedna Aha thanks for the nice comment ! @iker-diaz It was the first time I created sounds, and since I also worked on all the code, it was a bit hard and I didn't have time to polish it. Sry if it disturbed you ! @vivek-sharma20 It's more like you need to adapt your choices depending on where is the supervisor, rather than do whatever you like. That's the challenge, yes ! :) @tomas-selmeci Thank you for your comment ! We're both happy that you enjoyed our game :D
Well I took the challenge, but i was not really able to complete it. I had a hard time trying to understand when it was a good moment to act. That seems to me the place where it should be improved a bit.
Fun little game, that I'd definitely play in class, if they weren't all online.
It's very similar to an old flash game, I used to play, but with some story on top, which is awesome.
I really appreciated the cute art and wonderfully homemade sounds. Especially that slap sfx .
Only complaints is the UI was slightly confusing in the beginning and one time the supervisor caught me with his back turned.
Really fun game, the supervisor seems like real. Nice A great work for the ambiance ! special thanks to the supervisor ^^
I liked the gameplay and the art. good job!
Lovely illustrations and "voice" acting.
After a couple of tries, I finally won, but there were some issues I had with the game. It is very unclear where the supervisor sees, but more importantly, the unskippable text dialogues are extremely long - about 11 seconds each, if I am correct. And since they are always the same, I literally spend about 33 seconds of each attempt just waiting for the dialogues to finish, instead of playing the game.
I think you captured the existential dread of doing an exam without preparing perfectly, so perfectly in fact, that I'm panicking about mine as well right now, even though I've already done all of them... Good job on a good game!
I really liked the game and it was so much fun! Okay its not perfect because somehow you could get caught giving the paper even if he don't notice you but i kept trying until the end! and it was really that much fun! Got the ending though and very well done on your entry! Nice and fun!

I can't believe how much i adore a game about stopping child abuse by cheating on a test. This was amazing!
Dark Souls can't match the feelings of terror I had playing this
@xj4966 Aha imagine me when I was making the sound in the middle of the night ! :D
This game is so funny! Original idea. About the gameplay, it was really fun to play. Sounds were good enough, even tho the sound it makes when a classmate gets caught cheating is always the same and they all look a bit like clones  but that's understandable considering the short time. The humor was also cool, funny to see some killer-type of supervisor. A pause menu would have been useful.
@mikado Yeah you got it, all pupils look the same because we ran out of time XD All the animations took pretty long to make, even more when we consider that because Sofy and I have full time job we couldn't work on monday :/ So we did as well as we could !
Sorry about the pause menu ! But same as before, we ran out of time aha :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the game !
Haha this game is awesome! Really great idea. It would have been great to be able to skip dialogue, especially when you're starting over as you have to repeat the same sequence. The artwork is really great too! Sounds are great too, although some overall music during gameplay would have been really cool (obviously with the restricted time, not easy to implement!). A fun game, well done!
Great game! such an original idea and absolutely amazing execution! great job!
Really solid entry!
The art was really nice, and all the poses and expressions were very emotive (especially for the identical septuplets). As others have mentioned, it would be nice if the dialogue was skippable, since I was really bad and kept getting caught almost immediately.
I appreciate the sound design just being clock ticking and pencil scratching. Even with just ambient sounds you make a tense atmosphere, and the intimidating look of the supervisor helps as well.
I do wish it was a little more clear how his vision worked; sometimes I got caught with things I didn't think I should have, and other times I got away with things I didn't think I would.
Overall, great work for 72 hours!
@max-louis As I said in previous messages, we didn't let you skip messages on purpose : It's part of the "punishement" for getting caught. However, we hear you and are currently thinking about releasing the game in a future final version or not. If we do, we will definitely rework the dialogues system :)
@game-coder28 Thanks a lot for your kind comment !
@jeremy-ryan Thank you ! To be honest I have a very few experience with sound, and because we both worked on monday we had a very short time to work on the last day of the jam ! I am aware that the Supervisor needs some tweakings. I took more times working on the AI and it's pathing / catch system rather than its vision system, which was working fine but might be too large. My bad ^^
Glad you all loved the game though, thank you !
Interesting idea, and cool cartoony art!
I really liked the cartoony graphics style! And this is a very dark kind of school
You had a really nice and original idea and the game itself feels polished. Really well done!
Laughed hard! XD The teacher is awesome, nice idea! :)
@martin183 @fabula-rasa Thank both of you ! We made our best to get a cool version to show ^^
@nivbeth Yeah ! So do I, drawing the characters ! I'm so happy that you found it funny :D
Very fun concept with a great execution. The graphics are really sweet. Gameplay is interesting, makes sense and fits the theme well. No long tutorials required either, which is really nice. Well done, hope to see more of your work in coming LD's!
No one is commenting about this - but I think the sound-design choice to only include the clock, writing and the teacher 'hmmmm'ing was brilliant. The clock actually has a rhythm to it - I think there is some kind of lofi audio deep in the background. I really like how this game goes takes the classic phase "If my dad found out he would kill me" to the figurative extreme for this LD's theme. Was the inspiration for the students Randall from Recess or was that just a coincidence? Overall, an extremely well executed game - especially, judging from the comments above, you only had two days to execute this.
Haha this is a hilarious take on theme. Definitely brings back lots of school memories. Love the art style too, reminds me of Rick & Morty. Sound design was spot on as well. Great work!
I think the un-skippable text would have been more entertaining and tolerable for players if they had a reason to watch through it, maybe different lines of dialogue, different artwork, something to make to rewarding and enjoyable for the player. I know it's meant to be a "punishment" for cheating, but a players time is important and they should be entertained during that time.
The graphics worked really well and really added to the humour of the game. I did encounter one bug where the timer ended up going down without the start of game text having been completely removed. This only appeared to happen if I was on another tab at the time waiting for the text to finish displaying.
@hare-software Thank you for your kind comment ! I must admit that we are quite proud of the result even though we basically had one day less to work because of our respective full time jobs ^^ For Sofy it was her first LD but for me it was my second (even though I made way more Game Jams) so don't hesitate to take a look to my Itch.io :D
@injured Thank you to actually point this out aha ! I have very few experience in sound design but it was very clear in my head about how I wanted the player to feel when playing this game, so I did my best to do it ! Regarding the look to the theme, to be honest I got the idea because my gf has exams coming soon and she is very stressed, so it reminded me about the time when I had exams and I was like "That's so me before coming back home !" aha :D But yeah, with a day less to work, we got really tired from this jam even though we will definitely be part of it again :D
@amerigo-gazaway Thank you ! The art is actually inspired by a french series called "Les Kassos" but it's true that the art is quite close to Rick & Morty ! Nice catch !
@hare-software Thank you for your feedback ! ^^ Hope we'll work on somme nice concept next too ! @injured Thanks a lot to comment about this part of our work. I didn't know Randall from Recess, so it's a coincidence, I will watch that stuff it looks interesting. @amerigo-gazaway Thank you very much ! Your feedback encourages us @kjscott Very interesting feedback ! We are thinking about some solutions to make the experience better. You're right, the player's time need to be entertaining ! Thanks a lot
That's a lotta art and animation!
I loved this game. Couldn't beat it after several attempts, though.
That losing scene is brutal.
@echo-team I'll make sure @sofy35 reads this ;)
@justin-c Thank you ! We'll definitely need to rework the AI but with all these feedbacks, don't worry, we got some ideas ;)
Artstyle is hilarious on its own, but tough superwisor and punishment poles are especially brilliant. Core mechanic is polished and kind of addictive. Sound is a bit plain compared to other aspects and I wish it was possible to skip messages, but otherwise great entry.
@chertkov hehe thx for your kind comment ! As I said to others, sounds were clearly our weakness since we were a team of 2 and none of us had plenty experience with Sound Design. However, I must admit that I had a lot of fun making those sounds and will definitely practice to get even better at it !
I'm glad you enjoyed the game :D
Fun little game. Sometimes it was hard to find the right time to give the paper to the neighbour. Good job!
Pretty dark! But in a good way. Great art, and the soundeffects boosts the mood very well.
I gave up in frustration after a while though, as it was not very clear exactly when it was possible to pass the answers around, and sometimes the supervisor turned around just at the last second. I think I successfully passed two answers all the way. Projecting his actions slightly ahead of time would have been great.
I still gave it a fair score though! This would make an excellent minigame within a bigger game about Mathilde.
@shadow30 & @manderxan thx for your kind comments ! Don't worry, we are planning on reworking the Supervisor AI, we identified multiple solutions, we just need to playtest them and see which one works the best ;)
We're glad you enjoyed the game !
The original idea! I like this game! It reminded me of a couple of my school stories, but my cheating was more successful, in this game I was always caught :)
Weird but hilarious, kinda like a stealth game.
I like WTF games!!!! =) lol it's funny. And well done.
Mom pick me up i'm scared.
good visuals, hilarious. i wish i could skip the text scenes. i also don't understand when he is able to see me, cause he caught me while he had his back turned.
Very fun! Also the graphics are beautiful.
Quite difficult but still had me trying a couple of times. Nice illustrations by the way!!
lol the art reminded me of rick and morty especially the boy. Which is one of my favorite shows so I was already won over. The teacher is crazy shah, ties up the students for cheating.
I felt that when the teacher was tying up a student I should be able to swap notes without getting caught, but it seemed like that idea didn't work.
Either way really cute and funny game. I didn't beat it, but losing was fun b/c of the funny story telling.
Hey! Played your game, Here's a bit of feedback: https://youtu.be/enn-76VtPn8?t=3253
@kaafirookie THX A LOT for these precious feedbacks ! First of all, you must know that if we asked for your feedbacks it's mainly because we loved making this game and we actually want to finish it ! The gameplay is adapted to mobile so we are planning on releasing on mobiles platform.
Now, in response to all your feedbacks, you must know that we ran out of time and we kind of needed to "skip" balance time because Sofy and I both got full time jobs, so we worked whole monday and lost a LOT of time. However, we planned on reworking the Supervisor AI and got a lot of ideas to actually make it more "fair". Additionally, I have very few experience with Sound Design so it was really hard for me to actually synchronize everything ! Finally, I actually keep track of every feedback and even if some of yours were already on the tracks, you made some new remarks that we will definitely take into consideration !
Again, thx a lot and we are very happy that you enjoyed our game !!
@kanonix glad that I could help! This would be a cool mobile game! Looking forward to see what all developments will be made! All the best!
Loved the gameplay and art. The speed of text could be a little faster. But well, I played the browser version.
Nicely done! Enjoyed playing this, maybe some musak to take the edge of a little?
Great entry!
Wow that was fun! I did'nt realize she meant her father was going to kill her *literally!* I failed her twice! I think you might need a fail state for if your missing kids in both rows in the middle you cant get the paper to her, do you know what I mean or should I upload an image?
I really like the concept of this game, it's amazing!! I cannot credit that a team with only two people can achieve this amazing game. Congratulations!
@sharks Aha thx for your kind comment ! Yes, she's really afraid of her father that's why you have to cheat, to keep HER alive ! :D
@laura-del-pino Thx a lot for this kind comment ! We worked really hard, especially because we actually had a day less of work because we both have a full time job. But we did our best and are really proud of the result. We are even more happy about the fact that people actually enjoy the game :D
I see your comments about the unstoppable dialogue being a deliberate feature, but it definitely got a tad frustrating. Overall great work on the sound effects, they really enhanced the stress factor. Sometimes the supervisor definitely caught me when he shouldn't have, so there might be some tweaking needed there. That said, I thought it was a good idea (with surprisingly dire consequences). The gameplay was simple and effective, and everything looked very polished. So nice work!
@vesper Thx for your comment ! About the dialogues, we definitely heard you and since we actually decided to carry on working on the game, we actually reworked the whole dialogue feature and yeah, you can skip dialogues now :D :P
Innovative mechanic, and I really liked the graphics and sound. The humour was really dark!
I found it slightly frustrating to play because it was a little bit unintuitive to tell what would be seen by the supervisor. It was mechanically consistent, but the graphics didn't exactly represent when they would catch you (sometimes they could be looking right at you, but you were out of range, sometimes they seemed to be looking away but were close enough to detect you). Telegraphing when the supervisor noticed someone looking around was really good. Making the rest of the graphics really closely match the mechanics would make this a lot more satisfying to play; you could really feel you were getting away with passing notes, rather than second-guessing the game mechanic.
@hgcummings Thx a lot for your kind comments ! In case you didn't read the comments above, we decided to carry on working on the game and we reworked some mechanics. The supervisor got reworked and is working slightly different now :)
We'll probably publish updates of the game regularly, here or on Itch.io. Feel free to follow us if you're interested ! :D
So good! 💜 Awe-struck at how much art and animations you were able to do in such a short time, including all those variations of the screen when someone gets caught! If that game over screen isn't the scariest thing ever… 😭
Such a fun concept that I haven't really seen in LD before and the gameplay is very intuitive and you're constantly on guard! Was slightly tricky to determine whether the teacher would be able to see you sometimes but looking around and perhaps getting an exclamation mark from the teacher before actually trying to pass the note helped a lot.
Loved it!
I love this kind of game when you can play single-player missions with your friends. A similar game is A Way Out. In my opinion, playing with a friend is much more fun. This is why I am always playing online, and my favorite game is Call of Duty. There you can have a lot of fun. Recently I got a rank up, and my skill in the game is not good enough to play at my ranks. This is why I bought some hacks from https://www.iwantcheats.net/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-hacks/, for not ruining my teammates' game and making at least some tactical kills during the rounds.
