Hey! I played Alien Operation in my stream last night - really great! Can totally see it's potential. Particularly loved the voice over, was super eery and not seen anything like it in the jam before! Great entry guys, well done!
This was truly unique and an amazing experience that I didn't want to end. It totally immerses you in the setting, so much so that you feel like you really are making some moonshine and that your creation will become reality. You did an amazing job with this all around, a certainly memorable entry. Thanks for playing it with us on Stream! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/604980872 - you can see us playing here.
I played this for a good 15 minutes! What an amazing idea, I didn't want to stop until I filled the blanks. I love how you unpuzzle each part. It's not easy, it's the perfect difficulty level. Amazing job, well done!
An interesting and eery take on the theme, this game was fun and felt like you had choices you could make and wasn't linear. I liked the subliminal messages hidden within. Good work! Thanks for playing this on stream with us last night (MLC) :D
Awesome to play around the globe, a great perspective. Fun, challenging and somewhat panic inducing, this game deserves good ratings all around. I would say, some progression is needed here with what you can and can't use, lots of content in the game, but would be better given to the player slower. We streamed this last night after you submitted it, really nice!
Awesome work on your game! Very replayable! It's very satisfying to play, nice and polished. good work :)
Nice job! We streamed this last night and it was good fun. I love the graphic on the right, that really helps understand the gameplay. I'd say it would be nice if the further you got, the monsters changed, rather than having them all at the start. You could even scale up the monsters for them to feel stronger. Nice work!
Hey guys! As you know from my stream last night, absolutely loved this game! You did a really good job of creating a game with just about the right amount of difficulty to make it achievable but stressful (in a good way!). I love the different days, the cockerel noises and the fart noises lol. The art is obviously stunning too. A brilliant game experience and entry into the jam! See you around on Twitter (and hopefully future streams!). :)
It goes without saying that you guys and gals did a great job with this. Christina you are clearly very talented! It was great fun playing on stream last night with you!
@keybol thanks so much! It was so tricky to get finished up. We had to chuck out a whole bunch of content which is a same as it gave players the context they needed. The office scene is pretty much empty too haha. I think we'll continue to finish development on it.
@splitpainter Thanks so much! It was really hard work as you can imagine. Great work on your game man. I hope we did an ok job of the mood of anxiety.
@rhianna thanks so much for the support!! :D
@drskort Ahh thanks so much for your comment! :D I'm really happy to hear you liked the art haha - we had so much extra content we didn't get time to implement like around 4 more songs and at least 20 sounds and art pieces. We'll continue that all in a post-jam version. Really great job on Goblin Adventure.
@zesix Wow thank you! Haha Silas setup the readme - very organised! We were a pretty big team so it pays to be prepped like that. Really happy to hear you liked it! Looking forward to checking yours out :)
@rednaxelus Thanks a lot! Hmmm I'll notify the team about the HTML 5 version. Did you try zooming in your browser?
@noirdrive That's a massive compliment thank you so much! :D
Thanks @weirdybeardyman !!
@benjouille ah thank you so much that's great to hear! :D This is personally my first jam so I'm not massively familiar with what is expected - the team were really awesome though. Hope you had a good jam!
@ponypen haha 5*!! Thats amazing thank you. We'll get a post jam version out ASAP to fix those annoying glitches. They break the experience a bit.
@stolen-biscuit Thank you! We loved creating the concept, we wanted it to mirror reality well. Hopefully it does just that and is fun to play.
@hoseccan Thanks so much! Really appreciate it!
@unept Thanks so much for your kind comments! Definitely agree about the collisions - something we're fixing! We worked really hard on making the transition from office to her "mind" very different, so I'm glad you liked it! :)
@sofy35 Haha we definitely got inspiration from Don't Starve!! Love that you noticed. Thank you!
@bdmaniak Oops! I think that's a rare bug, sorry you ran into that (literally!). Thanks for letting us know and super glad you enjoyed it :)
@puzmak wow, what a comment! Thanks a lot for being so honest, really glad it mirrors reality well and that you enjoyed it. Definitely agree about the sticky-notes, will add that as a sticky note for our team to fix! ;)
@mathieu-semin Thanks so much for that awesome comment! See what you mean about Celeste, someone else has actually said that too! Really appreciate your kind words :)
@edalbung Wow, thanks so much for your thorough and great feedback! Really interesting to hear your thoughts on the controls - we will look to bear those things in mind in our post-jam version. We can definitely try to make the sprint a little less restrictive. Haha - lots have said Don't Starve too! That was definitely our inspiration. What a game! Thanks again :)
@syudzius Haha love that you found it scary and thanks for noticing the cat poster ;) Cats make anyone smile, right?! :D Definitely going to be updating the yellow notes in our post-jam version, thanks so much for that feedback (we ran out of time to fix!). Really glad you enjoyed :)
@ulcius Thanks so much for your great comment! We took a lot of inspiration from Don't Starve so I'm glad that comes across! Your comment about our art means a lot. We definitely will be adding more dialogue and context in our post-jam version, as well as the font size on the sticky notes, even if we just make it a tiny bit bigger! Really appreciate your feedback :)
@black-flag Glad you liked the atmosphere and dialogue so much! For sure - our intention is absolutely to balance the time spent in real world and "mind" forest - that was a "we've run out of time" thing! In our post-jam version, you'll see a lot more time spend in the office, as we agree it should be more evenly split. Thanks for letting us know about the cursor on web - didn't know that was happening so will definitely look into that. Thank you so much!
@devilqube Thank you so much - we really tried to make the audio set the mood so glad that works out!
@jamesolivermusic Thank you so much for all of your kind comments! For sure - in our post-jam version, we're 100% fixing up the office. We want Pauline to spend more time there too and for more "good" things to happen, so she's not constantly having blackouts. We ran out of time haha! Thanks again!! :D
@yeti-kid So pleased about your comments relating to graphics and audio! Means so much to us. It does - hopefully a lot of people can relate and that it helps people somewhat. It's a tricky balance to cover a sensitive topic. Thank you for leaving a great comment! :)
@armani03k Ah nice! I'll check it out. Do you have a game too, I'll give it a play :) Thanks a lot for the support man, I'll share your vid around.
EDIT: Looks like your version was SUPER bugged out, missed out on a lot, sorry about that! I think we've fixed all those issues now haha!
@babyking Thanks so much for your really kind feedback, wow! Super glad you enjoyed and related to it so much, it's a difficult thing to do so we're very happy you were as satisfied as you are!
@marcusnystrand Haha yes, just like in real life ;) Thank you so much, so glad it feels solid even though it is quite buggy still! We're excited to make it even more solid in our post-jam version. Love that you enjoyed the music and think it fits - great to hear!
@tom-robson Your comment is amazing! Love how you feel like you could relate, in a good way! Oh for sure, we'd LOVE to introduce some mini games too! We want to have more of a story moving forward and see Pauline in different settings too. We have a lot of ideas up our sleeve and so happy to hear you see its potential! Thanks so much!
@taran-unraveler Totally fair enough! We wanted to keep it as real as possible and didn't want anything too crazy but can definitely see what you're saying. It's something we'll definitely bear in mind! Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
@ryzy27 Thanks so much - "art is gorgeous" - wow!! Glad the story ws engaging too - it was something we were desperately trying to get across with such a short time so I'm glad you were engaged. We're working on making it even more engaging so that's given us a huge boost that we're headed in the right direction! Thank you!
@lairinlair Awesome, thanks a lot! Haha, we were definitely inspired by Don't Starve! Glad you love the soundtrack too :)
@kate90 Thanks very much! Agreed - we need to add more story parts in our post-jam version, we couldn't squeeze it all in before submission unfortunately! You give some great feedback, thank you! :)
@drums Thanks so much for playing our game!! You're right - we were very grateful to have had a super solid and collaborative team working on this. Love that you really enjoyed playing! We loved playing Cloudy with a Chance of Pain too, as you know from the stream! Awesome entry. Thanks for getting us to play it (of course rated over there too).
@randomhuman Thanks for your comment about our art! Totally agree, we wanted to add more elementsin the office, and plan to in our post-jam version, just ran out of time! We are also going to be making it so the mind forest map is much smaller to begin with, so that it's less overwhelming and it's clearer what to do. The goal is to fill up your journal to beat your anxiety which we need to make clearer too! So glad we communicated the struggle of anxiety well, it was a difficult balance but so glad you appreciated that! Thanks so much!
@thecritterscove Brilliant that you loved the mood, atmosphere and visuals, woohoo! Seems like you found it intense too. We're adding a slight glow around the interactable items in our post-jam version to make it more obvious. We need to make the "recipes" a bit clearer too i.e. if you find the water bottle, it makes pills more effective. It is in the journal but could be more obvious for sure. Text we are also fixing, glad you pointed that out! Thank you for all of your feedback!
@duke Thanks so much for taking the time to give so much thought into our entry. I agree with everything you say.
This was my first jam and the scope was a little too big (we ran into a 3 hour bug wall of death for the final stretch lol). This saw us cut our smaller map from the intro, cut the office interactions out and stopped us from getting a fair bit of content we wanted in. That being said, I think now we have seen people play, we've learnt a lot about the gameplay and how we could now direct it to be more fun!
Again, thanks for your review, you are spot on! Wish we had one more day to make this really something!
@hanyzpapu Thank you so much - we definitely need to make it clearer what to do at the start so will bear that in mind in our post-jam! Glad you liked the graphics and music, that's great to hear too!
@cadstor Woohoo, thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed so much that you left a comment too :)
@boboman Haha good spot on the dialog (it was written in submission hour lol), I think there might even be another typo somewhere in there. That office pills bug is a pretty awful one, ruins the game. It's since been fixed in our new version coming soon as a post-jam. I think the gameplay ended up not coming out as intended with the missed chunks of content and progression we planned for. GOod feedback about stamina, that can certainly be tweaked. I would suggest more stamina, but less speed, that way it feels better, but you don't have the benefit of more running distance to make it too easy.
There certainly needs to be tweaks for empowerment, I love that you have used that word. Great review thank you very much!
@rodrigo-denubila Haha thank you so much, that means a lot. There was certainly inspiration from Don't Starve! We took inspiration also from The Forest and old browser games.
@peterfiftyfour Ahhh hey! We played Apple Panick and received a lovely message about Angst from your artist on Insatgram which I'll get back to shortly. Thanks so much for your very kind comment! Haha, we submitted 2 mins before the deadline inthe grace period, talk about cutting it fine! So glad we did though! A mini map/arrows/more glow on items is definitely a must in our post-jam version :) Haha, yes, we ran out of time to create a happier Pauline when you win. Thank you for seeing its potential, we'll be fixing it up with all of these things in our post-jam version :)
@lyrcaxis Fair enough yeah - our interpretation was keeping Pauline's sanity and positivity alive. Hopefully that makes sense now - we tried to make it as clear as possible and included it on the loading screens but maybe we should have made it more obvious! Thanks so much, "incredible" is a huge compliment! We tried to create an eery mood and I'm so glad you felt that! :)
@savvu Haha my girlfriend literally screams when the different demons appear lol. Slenderman was 10000% one of our inspirations! Glad you spotted that! Thanks so much for your incredibly kind comment, glad you enjoyed!:)
@vesper Hahahaha I love this comment so much!! Sounds like you were totally immersed which is exactly what the aim was. For sure - we are in the process of creating more in office content - we did create it but didn't implement it in time! We also want to add some happier aspects to Pauline's life so that it's more realistic. Thanks so much, totally overwhelmed by your kind words! Saved and shared them to the team too. Thanks!
@joemid Haha the"angsty" game - love it and love your comment! Thanks a lot - we spent a lot of time on the menu and journal as we thought that would be a huge difference to the gameplay experience - sounds like it did! Thank you so much!
@molpe Thank you so much!Just watched your whole video, YOU WON!! Amazing! It's so rare to find how to win - so glad you got there. Thanks for taking the time to make the video, play Angst, upload it to YouTube and even leave a link to our game in the description. Really appreciate it! We'll be doing a mash up video of all the people who have played our games, and will tag you once it's done! Also, if you play Angst again, use shift to run ;) Will make things easier! Also, try looking at the demon... ;)
@eran-haas Thanks a lot! We tried to be a little different with the theme so glad you liked our interpretation! :) Glad you enjoyed!
@red-ash Looks like you ran into a bug! So sorry about that. You can win the game and don't need to be many days in, which we deliberately made the case for the jam, but the bug you hit took you down a wrong path. Sorry about that - we want to upload a bug fix version but feel it would be unfair and "cheating" at this stage. Appreciate you trying it all the way up until 20 days in and persisting. Hope you enjoyed the overall experience though and that you enjoyed collecting the items and filling up your journal. Thanks for your kind comments about art, audio and theme! Means a lot :)
@fabula-rasa Thanks so much for playing and taking the time to give a great review! I hope you enjoyed it even with the annoying bugs you encountered. Without those bugs I think our entry would have been a lot more effective as everything else we managed to get into the game how we wanted. The colliders issue we left in last minute to focus on some other things that were crucial.
So pills are the most effective item in the game at pushing back demons, however, they only work at 80% effectiveness if you don't have water. If you take them when holding water, you'll get a 20% added bonus to make it 100% effectiveness :)
There are a few elements in the game like this, that would have made for interesting gameplay. It's a shame we never managed to get the explination/tutorial into the game to help new players realise that!
Again thanks a lot man! :D
@trigueiro Yes, we definitely need to include some guidance in there - we ran out of time for it! Thanks so much for your kind feedback :)
@sleeping-panda-games Oh no! Bet you could relate to Pauline then ;) Hope you're feeling less stessed now! Thanks so much for commenting!
To everyone below: all your feedback has been taken into account and this playtesting has really helped understand Angst a lot better. We’re working on a new version which will fix these issues and bring a whole new experience to the game.
@sticmac thanks a lot for playing! You’re totally right with everything you say! :D
@mykola thanks for the feedback! Interesting that you had performance issues, that may be related to using the web edition. Thanks a lot!
@wdebowicz haha wow thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it.
@winniehell thanks for playing and the feedback! We’ve since added a glow to items that you can interact with as it was confusing to tell the difference with the office environment items.
@sharbelfs this is true. Although confusing, what I find interesting is that most people get the idea after a while. This is common of course in games, however I think we need to make it feel more intention so players know they feel lost at the start, but that will change as they develop as a player.
@jontherealjon thanks so much! We actually removed the stamina bar as it seemingly took away from the minimalistic vibe of the UI. We have since decided with the feedback, that wasnt the best call and will be putting one back in. I think you’re the first to really see the issues witb the game mechanics. They are all coded in, but we had to plug in the numbers to variables so fast at the end that they arent really setup properly. The effects you talk about had since been fixed in the version we are working on.
@merlinnsound oh how interesting! It would have been great to have a clinical QA on this game like yourself to check our interpretations on mental health issues - a luxury beyond scope of a game jam. Thanks for the feedback and foe playing! I’d love to gear how we did on the mental health education front?
@stupidpawn Thanks so much! It was pretty insane (in a good way!).
This is definitely going to be one of my more memorable games of the jam! Just love the strategy element. I also love how seamless the mechanics are when the plant hits the buttons, makes it super satisfying. You clearly put so much time into this and it's reflected in the fun I'm sure many others have had with your game too! Really nice job :)
Always love a good tower defence game haha! Thanks for sharing this with the community, was good fun :)
Wow! Played this in my stream last night (as you know) and absolutely loved it! It was fun getting everyone else involved in the stream too, like @backurio who I can see has commented here too! What I loved particularly about this management-type game was the immersive experience. You forget about everything else going on, I think it's the lighting and sounds (and of course, cool gameplay too!). Brilliant job on this - I snipped the part where I played your game to add here if you want to give it another watch! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/604980873
A sweet little game! I love the graphics. The colouring really helps to set the mood. If you had more time, I would love to have had different stages where it gets harder and different types of items fall that you have to avoid. Great job!
Nice I like this idea! Really like the colouring used with the red there and the lighting. Really good work. I think the audio could have more of a club vibe with more bass etc, even if it is pixel and retro. I think the retro could have been pushed more that way. Really great job though, love the perspective.
We streamed this last night and almost immediately caught fire to everything!! It was great fun, a really good job all around. I think it could use a little progression in some way. Maybe not just wolves that come for the sheep, or maybe the weather gets windy or something. Great job!
WOW! Totally impressed by the depth of this game. When you think there won't be more rooms, there are loads! The difficulty level is also perfect.
My only thing to mention is when first playing, it wasn't too clear that the food weren't enemies, so I was anxious about going up to them in case it was game over! ;) Overall, awesome job. You deserve to do well in this jam!
Had SO much playing this in my stream last night! Couldn't beat 278 though. Truly awesome game, was super fun and all of us in the stream found is so entertaining. The music/sfx are on point and makes for a really fun gameplay experience. You did a great job on this, and seem like awesome people, which makes the whole thing 10x better! An entry that deserves to be recognised and highly rated!! :D
You definitely nailed the mood element - was really eery! I like the difficulty level - would be handy if there was a restart button too :) Nice job!
Really nice little game. I liked the fact you jump in straight away and it reflects the struggle of keeping plants alive in real life (mine are always dying lol).
This was awesome - great job! I love the artstyle and you've scored highly for innovation for me. This felt so one of a kind, the concept, the gameplay, the art style! Something about the characters felt a little different in style to the whale, but I can't tell what it is. Loved this entry! We played it on stream: https://twitch.tv/maxlouiscreative
Wow that was unique - I love it :D I really like the camera movement, I can see that would have taken lots of work. Great work on the little touches like the warp camera effect :)
Nice work on the animations and the general look of this. Was really interesting to play, especially after intriguing me with a 1.8gb download! We played this on stream and everyone liked the animations!
Played this in our stream last night! Wow, the starting sequence was really quite eery, particularly with the way you use flashing text, really liked that. The voices were great too. Found it incredibly hard to keep the poor guy alive, but can see this game really turning into something, so I hope you're working on it post-jam! Would be great if you could see more clearly how good certain things you're using are keeping him alive. Would love to play this again once it's more polished! Congrats :)
WOW! The graphics and mood are spot on. Love the sounds for king kitty too. I said this on Twitter but will say here too - really hope you get time to finish it up.
Nice work! Love that your girlfriend got involved with this too! Goblin sounds are perfect. Maybe some variations of the sounds could be cool, or sound when you click on things. Great stuff.
This was so spooky! My girlfriend played this (she loves dogs) and she had to exit and she found it too spooky haha, so that tells me you smashed the mood and audio element! Absolutely fantastic models and art. I think if anything, it would be amazing if there were 'hints' along the way - having so many different rooms was very impressive but was a bit overwhelming! I know working out the mystery is the best part, but the option to have hints would be awesome. Really great work, you guys must be super happy :)
Nice job! This is the first game I have played in this camera perspective in this game jam. I enjoyed having a world to explore and it's cool how you guys made it work in a puzzle setting.
This was great fun on our stream yesterday after you submitted it! It's really hard but I think we got to level 3. Nice work with this one, love the graphics!
Neat game! I struggled with the controls at first but once I got to grips with them, was great fun! Not seen anything like it before. Really nice job!
We streamed this last night with you and it was great fun! I wish the controls were numbers rather than click, but it sounds like that is already in the works! Love the vibe this game gives off.
Really amazing work here! We streamed it together last night and I was super impressed. Love the colouring, design, UI and audio and how it fits together. I'd want to see better use of controls in the future as it was clunky. Very good job!
Really enjoyed playing this on stream last night (as you know ;)). Brilliant idea and I love the "true-to-life" elements. I loved that so much was going on the screen at once, it created a tense gaming experience which I love. The smaller parts like the font are so perfect too, so well done there! Looking forward to streaming more of your games soon! Great entry :)
Awesome mood to this game - inspiring ideas for the next jam! Hope you had fun on this one :)
Haha, love this concept. Really like the footstep sounds and would love to have seen what background theme song you would have chosen. I love how you have to always have your eye on the ball otherwise he will die! I encountered a small bug where he walked into the wall and wouldn't then move, but otherwise very slick! Nice work!
Very interesting! I absolutely love how the composition sounds different at different sides of the circle. Really cool to hear the layers come to life like that. We tried to add layers of audio in ours to signify different things taking place but struggled to fit it in haha. You did a really great job of it: :)
@ridderfar Wow, amazing. Haha, agreed, would have been super difficult! Thanks for sharing that info, very impressive.
@ridderfar that's really insightful thanks for that. Again great job! :D I really enjoyed working in this gam jam - never done it before!
Had so much fun playing this in my strean last night! I don't know if you were still in the stream when we played it unfortunately but I really enjoyed playing it and we all particularly loved the mood of this game. Super eery and the snow/wind sounds created a great mysterious atmosphere. Great entry guys!
Great job here! I like the colouring you've used throughout. Maybe it's preference, but I'd like to be holding a drink and switch the music, rather than you needign to be empty handed. I loved the little drawing of the item you were holding in the hand, really nice touch! Awesome work! :D https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/dont-let-the-party-die/comments
As Silas pointed out, we did actually think of something party like (I think we were thinking zombies) so great to see what that might look like!
Loved playing this in our stream last night, was really fun for everyone to watch too! The gameplay is super solid and love how you have to grab the items. Simple controls and it was really intense which I love! As I mentioned to you last night, it would be amazing if there was a day and night cycle to shake it up a bit. Awesome entry, congrats!
Loved playing this in my stream the other night! It's a fun game to play with great comedic elements (those faces though ;)). A very interesting concept. Would love to see what features you'd add moving forward! Nice work!
@kostasvs I don't think we recorded yours! We have since checked the settings to fix that. It's here anyway: https://twitch.tv/maxlouiscreative
Awesome job!! Really love the humour of this game and the sound really plays on that. My girlfriend loved your progress bar too. Putting the how to play in was very useful. We ran out of time to put it in our game lol!
Overall great fun, brilliant artwork and a fab entry! We played this with you on stream yesterday and it was very enjoyable! I think the art could be improved slightly by varying the colouring of the ground somewhat or giving it a texture, rather than just solid colour. All the pixel art in the game looks great and to have that on the ground would complete the environment for me. Great work team!
@pixelcrustpunk Yes! :) twitch.tv/maxlouiscreative We throughly enjoyed streaming the game, makes our day that it makes yours :)
Really enjoyed playing this game! Was really relaxing with the smooth movements and music. It would have been great to see some penalties for leaving things unattended (like I kept doing by accident) and if the "click" button was more obvious (sometimes I missed it). I can really see the potential of this game, nice job :)
We played this on stream yesterday and it was great fun! First voxel game I have seen in the jam and it really works at this isomectric angle too. The gameplay was good and you've set this in a great direction! I'd love to see more progression on this going forward. I think in the context of a game jam, maybe varying the size of enemies as quick and easy way to create bosses could be cool? Amazing job team!
The stream was on Twitch here - you can find the stream recording somewhere on there https://twitch.tv/maxlouiscreative
@alxertion no problem at all! Thank you!
As you'll know from my stream last night, loved playing Silence Please! You clearly spent a bunch of time on this and it really enhanced my overall gameplay experience. I love the concept, art and animations. Feel like some of the areas were a little bit empty, if I could give you any useful feedback, but this didn't ruin how much fun I had :) Really great entry!
Haha this game is awesome! Really great idea. It would have been great to be able to skip dialogue, especially when you're starting over as you have to repeat the same sequence. The artwork is really great too! Sounds are great too, although some overall music during gameplay would have been really cool (obviously with the restricted time, not easy to implement!). A fun game, well done!
Wow one of the most polished I've played yet! Really like the animations and sound, very nice job there! Really like the concept of it getting darker as time passes and you have to collect a light source, that's innovative! We tried to do something similar to that.
We played this last night on stream and it was great fun! Disorientating? Sure, that was half the fun. I think this game was a great entry and concept. I think the difficulty ramped up quickly and I never really made it far past 2 minutes. I almost think it might be impossible? Maybe some balancing to do post-jam. Good work.
Wow awesome visuals! I saw this in GDN on Discord. Great work with the mood :) It's actually pretty similar to our game entry haha! You should take a look (Don't have to play), just pretty close visually!
angst__5.png
Nice work! I like the reds you've used :D Would love to see more from this in the future :)
This art is amazing! Really nice job. I also love the humour in the dialogue a lot. It was quite stressful in a good way - I would loved to have had more time to know when the fish needs feeding, it took a little while to pick up and drop the food the water before it could be fed. This game has great potential, really great work, enjoyed a lot!
Really enjoyed playing this in my stream last night! Been talking to the artist and designer of this on Instagram too - your team sound awesome which makes playing this game even more fun :) Really like the art style. Can't help but think the apple is super sweet! I like the comedic elements too. Would be great to see more gameplay elements in the future to make it more replayable. Awesome entry - you guys should be super happy!
This is one of my favourite entries so far! I played this for a good 15 minutes on stream and could easily go on for much longer! I think I'm even going to play again, something I haven't done yet with any LD46 games. Really impressed with it. I think it would be awesome to have some more progression in some way like not just meteors coming in.
@yoshify Of course! It's https://www.twitch.tv/maxlouiscreative/ (haven't recorded - forgot to hit the button - but recording future ones). We're streaming most nights with different Ludum Dare games. If you join in on stream, let us know and we'll give your game another play for everyone to see again, genuinely really enjoyed it! Maybe you should join when you've dealt with those bug fixes at the end of the week? :)
Enjoyed playing this on our stream last night! LOVE the character art and puzzle concept. If I could give any feedback, it would be to make other things interactable, not just the characters e.g. if you could interact with parts of the environment, that would be cool. Difficult level was perfect. Solid entry and was fun to play! Well done!
This is by far one of the best games I've played in this jam! I played this with my girlfriend who also really enjoyed it. A great idea to do coop, haven't seen that yet. Really love the lighting effect, how did you achieve that?! We tried to do some cool lighting with post processing but didn't get time! Really nice job, this deserves more ratings :)
@rednaxelus this has scored the highest in fun for me so far! Great work :) Highest score of 58
Really enjoyed playing this! Note to self: don't try playing this again with a trackpad lol. Would love to see different levels for this and for the plants to disappear gradually as they wilted. Really great job, music was perfect :)
Awesome job and just you and the artist working together! I hope you had lots of fun making it, really love the play on recent topics and of course the awesome train-like system to bring them home. One of my fav touches was the lights switching on in the building.
