i enjoyed playing this.. maybe next focus a little bit more on features like title screen and level screen, rather than the number of levels.. We get the idea, no need for such complex puzzles, overall. good work

Such a great game! It all flowed really well together, I had me and my roommate play it and we had a really fun time. The art and story is very unique, and I like that it's a local co-op puzzle game. Good job!

The game concept is solid and I've seen a few games like it and people enjoyed them so using two character to overcome puzzles works out nicely.

The graphics and audio are also well done.

My real only complaint is that you have to go near the blockers and trigger to see which color they belong to. I found this frustrating since it was much harder to figure out who should go where and when and became a game of me trying to remember each color.

Pretty fun, though it's pretty dialogue heavy for a jam game. Also, I think it would help a lot if it was more clear which character can go through which gate, as the differences between the colors is really hard to notice. Good work though.

Really interesting concept. Unfortunately, I had to control both of the characters by myself, and the last level became very difficult for me  But maybe it's just because my brains are still fried after the jam crunch.

Nice! Seems like a pretty neat puzzle platformer, and fairly complete in terms of levels and mechanics. Good job!

I didn't think the mechanics tied into the theme particularly. Also, I quit in frustration the first time because I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do on the first screen (that I could move the second character with the arrow keys), and just happened to boot it up to try again. Please list the controls!

@jasond I hadn't realised we didn't specify the controls anywhere - thank you for that! I've updated the description.

Pretty polished and fun game. The graphics are great and pleasant, the story is pretty interesting in my opinion. I liked the puzzles, they seem balanced, although I would like to see some new mechanics and maybe some kind of enemies. But overall, fun game!

This was pretty good game, with some nice atmosphere. It would have better if it wasn't hidden what color you needed to activate the different switches and barriers. I also would have liked to have a brief explanation of the control we the game started.

This is by far one of the best games I've played in this jam! I played this with my girlfriend who also really enjoyed it. A great idea to do coop, haven't seen that yet. Really love the lighting effect, how did you achieve that?! We tried to do some cool lighting with post processing but didn't get time! Really nice job, this deserves more ratings :)

raeya 2020-04-24 18:04

@max-louis we used Godot to make this, which lets you say which "light mask" objects react to, and what lights go to which masks - regular lighting is on mask 1, red-specific lighting on mask 2, blue-specific on mask 3. The lights attached to the players send light to masks 1 and 2/3 depending on their color. Then e.g. a blue switch will react to mask 3 but not mask 2, so it only glows when the blue player is near :) Glad you enjoyed by the way!

Great concept! I think the graphics are beautiful and the sounds make a good mystery atmosphere. You put a lot of gameplay into it in a very short time. And not just that, a bunch of narrative as well. So cheers for all that! I had a bit of problem with coordinating controls, but that's just clumsy me . I really hope to see more from you! And cheers for using the best game engine around

Absolutely brilliant graphics and mood. I loved the co-op and light-based mechanics too, and thought you created some really interesting puzzles with them. I could also see how the story might tie in with the theme later on.

Great mood, cool puzzles, the effects of some switches were a little unclear which had me stumped for a second. Cool that it had a thought through narrative, but coulda used a little trimming? I finished three puzzles. Clearly a thorough effort! Good work :D

Absolutely beautiful game in so many way, the setting and mood are spot on and the story is really interesting to read. I enjoyed playing the game and time flew by without me noticing.
