LD46 — Keep it alive

Inhabitable by inzombiak 2020-04-21T20:46:37Z

This game is actually quite a lot of fun, and it's got a lot of character (the laugh in the music is just too good XD). I also really appreciate the fact that the hands can clench after you game over, really good detail. I spent most of the game making the planet dance to the music...

Dunkman by congusbongus 2020-04-21T20:29:46Z

I love the premise of the game, and the actual gameplay works really well (though the ball did get stuck in one position on occasion, but I'll chalk that up to the web player being finicky). The posing of the character was really good as well, especially when you moved the ball backwards. I think it would be interesting if you added some form of additional visual to help telegraph the arm motions, but it's not really important since you made the movements clear on their own.

Cataracta's eco-friendly adventure by Ponzis 2020-04-21T03:18:39Z

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback on our first game! We were a little pressed for time if that isn't obvious... Any issues with the collision meshes is entirely my fault... Except near the door, you can blame that on the camera (I forgot that the room has edges to be honest :p ). Fun fact, there was an earlier feature where Ponzis had implemented character scaling and I spent too much time messing around and making the robot fly out of the space station window... We've definitely learned a lot from this and will hopefully have a crack at it again in October!

This is a really fun puzzle game! The visuals are good, and the music has that nice synth sound to it a bug where one of my cards got stuck floating off to the side of one of the placements (It's related to trying to place a card on another card, I was too focused on the game to notice much else though.) Over all, this feels a little like a game of chess. I wonder if this would work as a real world card game...

Guardian Core by kisu 2020-04-21T03:52:05Z

I honestly kind of like how slow it is to turn the cursor around and that the large enemies sneak up from behind. I can see them creeping up and have to make some thoughtful movements to not lose terribly.

Volty's Quest by Casey Macneil 2020-04-21T20:16:15Z

I love the movement! And I really appreciate that you can jump out of the charging station, that's a really good touch.

Cheat Or Die by Kanonix 2020-04-21T20:37:07Z

I think you captured the existential dread of doing an exam without preparing perfectly, so perfectly in fact, that I'm panicking about mine as well right now, even though I've already done all of them... Good job on a good game!

I really love the writing! Just not good enough at the game to see more of it...

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Block Runner 2049 by LandoSystems 2020-10-06T06:19:45Z

I played this way longer than I would usually play a Tetris game, partially because Brick Deckard sometimes fixed my dumb mistakes, and partially because I couldn't stop laughing! This game's humor was so good and watching Brick Deckard mess with the blocks makes me smile. In all seriousness, Brick Deckard adds a lot to the gameplay and is really well implemented. Well done!

RING LANCER by juegoman 2020-10-06T05:53:22Z

I love your graphics! And the way the character controls and fires feels and looks really good as well!

Stasis Break by 3mpty 2020-10-06T05:31:50Z

This game is really cool! I do agree that the enemies are a little bit hard right off the bat, but I think that's mainly due to my inexperience with the game mechanic. I also think the stasis visuals when traveling back make it a little hard to tell where the enemy bullets are and keep track of what ship I'm playing as, though that may be more my sleep deprived eyes' fault, and I think the more I play this, the more used to it I'll get (I have very similar issues with other shmups anyways...) Overall, I think this game is very well put together and quite a lot of fun to play!

Welcome to Station Alpha by Theo Ratkin 2020-10-06T05:05:34Z

Neat little idea and the aesthetic is very well put together. I got the atmosphere/mood this game was going for immediately, and if the loop is truly infinite, then I'm really impressed and I really like where you went with this. I also really appreciate that you could use both space and mouse for the dialogue, though I would have loved a sprint button... Very much on point with the theme and it was a very nice way to relax after the stress of the Jam.
