i'm really bad at controlling that damn ship.
music would make this way more fun. i kinda liked it, not really my type but i can see it was really thought out. i was a really good puzzle game nonetheless.
i found it fun, but also kinda difficult.
great art style, cute sound effects, the radar is a good touch. the game felt a bit too "slippery", making it a bit hard.
the dialogue and voice lines were golden! also the music was fire. nice entry!!
i actually really enjoyed it! not much to complain about, maybe add a sound effect when the player dies to make the death seem more impactful.
it ended abruptly... was it my fault or was that the game? controls weren't really working that well, also i don't think the start screen was properly in frame. i liked the idea of yeeting the rabbit... that was fun.
love the sound effects, cute graphics, but i think there is a problem with the torches.
I liked the sound design and the visuals. Didn't like the fact that there wasn't an objective. Also i don't think the potion thingy worked for me, but maybe that's my bad?
i really really liked the art, the gameplay was good, and the sound effect were all right, but i have some complaints.. i died with hearts still standing strong, so i don't really understand how dying works. also at the very top it seems that the character is getting stuck, you might wanna look into that.
liked the puzzles and the overall concept of the game. i have some concerns: i think you should add a counter for how many program blocks are left; also the boost animation seemed a bit glitchy to me; add a way to delete pads cause i messed up once and i had time to fix it, but couldn't.
(html5) when i tried to fullscreen, the game turned black. after i exited fullscreen, it remained that way. i had to refresh. anyways fun game, didn't have a clue what was going on but i thoroughly enjoyed it!!
i played for way too long! i really really enjoyed it, but please make it more intuitive at the beginning because i didn't understand where i was supposed to plant and nearly gave up
really creative mechanics, some music would benefit your game a lot. maybe it's my problem, but i also find the sound effect of the walls sort of annoying.
first things: i loved the drawings, the music and the atmosphere. i would suggest adding a restart button (if there is one, i couldn't find it), because i had to refresh the page and go through the tutorial in order to play it again. also, maybe number the endings or give it a bit of a more rewarding ending cause i didn't find it that rewarding.
cute graphics, great sounds, the puzzles were hard enough to be entertaining. i liked it a lot, well done!
very cool graphics and audio, it was waaay too hard for me to finish. Also, two times in a row the zombie dude disappeared.. Screenshot (234).png
loved the animations and the music. also it was simple but fun, my fingers were spazzing on the keyboard
nice visuals, and creative idea. couldn't figure out where i was shot form, maybe add some indicators. also no sound made it a bit stale.
really creative concept and mechanics, i had fun!
i'm gonna start with the obvious: loved the graphics, the atmosphere and the idea. i played two times and i died in the neighbours house twice, and i'm quite sure he didn't see me (especially the second time). dunno maybe it's a bug, maybe i'm bad at the game. also how do i use the mask that i bought? was there an items menu?
music was FIRE! graphics stunning. some characters and plants disappeared at times. gameplay not bad but not amazing, it did fit the theme. nice work!
nice graphics, i feel like the mood was ruined by the music. not that i don't like the music, but it's not really fitting. also i find it amusing that our core idea for our jam is nearly identical to yours, guess we weren't too creative:)
i liked the music and the visuals, also the gameplay was entertaining. my only concern is with the shooting sound effect that, after i upgraded it to the max fire rate, became very irritating to my ears. not only this, but the background became jittery when i was shooting really fast. liked the rest though!!
the title screen and cover image were stunning, so i expected a very aesthetically pleasing game, but got something really not satisfying. you could maybe make the levels a bit more developed? the music was good, though a bit repetitive
damn this looks really really polished. i find the concept hilarious and ingenious. i liked it. also i'm your 100th review. so congrats!!
great mechanics, the ambiance is amazing, a bit stale i might say.
the song was a banger. visual bugs here and there, also at first i thought i would be able to walk on the tree trunk, perhaps you could make it more explicit or more obvious, dunno.
i actually liked it a lot. It wasn't the gameplay that sold it, but the weird feel, yet nice aesthetic of the game. Peculiar, but relaxing (...sort of cause i had to click a lot).
loved the music, shame it ended while i was still playing
you should disable the itchio password
i really liked the art and the music. things to look towards improving: the audio menu was glitchy, maybe explain the building mechanics a bit. also i don't know how it fits the theme :/
boy, that was amazing. i am really surprised this is a game jam, and i am also kinda sad that this game doesn't get more love. 10/10 would recommend!!
the art was unique. sound effects were on point, liked the fact that the laser hit multiple enemies. i have some problems with the guide window: you should unbind esc because it is also for exiting fullscreen. also maybe the upgrade window could freeze the enemies, or you could integrate the upgrades somehow so that it doesn't obstruct the vision?
good visuals, hilarious. i wish i could skip the text scenes. i also don't understand when he is able to see me, cause he caught me while he had his back turned.
there seems to be an issue with the cursor after the end of a level, i mean i pressed space to get back to the levels menu, but i couldn't choose another. you should look into that. also i think the first level is broken because the enemies count stays at 10 and after i got rid of them nothing happened and i got stuck on the map, having nothing to to bu jump off it (or i guess stay in the fire).
the movement felt really slippery. liked the graphics and the music. pretty good
why not host it somewhere else? i'm not signing up to any platform
i adore the theme you chose. also everything is super cute. god i liked the game.
as everyone already said: amazing graphics, good choice of music and sound effects. my only concern is the fact that when there was a transition after my death (the black screen thingy), i could move before the the screen was away. so i was moving while being blinded by the screen and obviously died. maybe look into it?
this was amazing, loved it a lot. had a blast!
Art style is great, but i guess you already knew that. Also the sound effects were cute. I enjoyed it!!
i was really confused, especially at the elevator stage, cause i kept pushing these buttons: <> , then my counter went on negative and after i figured it out, i kept playing, my counter went back to positive numbers. i don't know if it was intended this way. anyways i liked the concept and the story, but i think a bit of music or sound effect would bring a lot to the game.
this is a really creative concept, i was confused at first because the phrase didn't look like anything, but later on i got the hang of it eventually.
really simple and effective game. impressive art, good sound effects, well done.
@anthony-pengelly you have to press e when you are next to the fire
@studionokoi yeah, we made that one up. the rest of them are legit
@anagf the raccoons were stealing your sticks, they were mostly there to surprise or startle you.
@amkingtrp we haven't really mapped it out... (yet?) we might in the future, who knows
@convg wow 25 minutes is a long time. glad you liked it !
@very-dark-lord @scott-steffes yeah i guess that's a problem that we have because i've started seeing more complaints about it. we thought we made them obvious but i guess we were wrong. (explanations are in the instructions menu though)
love the game, especially the voice lines and the music.
i really like the art style, the music and the overall idea, but some messages overlap and are i think the game ends a bit too abruptly.
great idea, graphics and music on point. i feel 1000% more masculine now.
that was really good, it truly was entertaining, i just don't really see how it fits the theme. but anyways i liked it!
(i played the updated version) at first i thought it was weird that you were really fast, but i liked it that way. its fast pace made the game way more fun. liked the cloud indicator idea. liked the wrong paths. but i had an issue, i got stuck in the ground at some point. Screenshot (227).png also binding esc to the pause menu isn't a good idea for an html game because it also escapes from fullscreen, maybe bind it to p
the number of lives lost, or cheese, seem weird... at times i lost two at a time, and sometimes just one. maybe you guys intended it this way, but it wasn't explained to the player. i think you should look into it!!
