Really cool concept! It seemed polished, and was very humorous! My only criticism is that sometimes I wanted to feed it a certain food, but ended up hitting other foods into my dinosaur and ending up ruining the current game. Other than that, great work!
At first, it was a bit unclear what the objective was, but after I got the hang of it, I didn't die once. It had good game design, but the art was a bit un unified, and felt random, like you got a bunch of free assets from different sites or something.
This has to be the most polished game I have seen this jam. Everything was really nice, and I really enjoyed growing my plant! Might be one of my top games this jam.
The art was really good, but the sensitivity was off the charts! A little less sensitivity in movement, and some obstacle variation would be my main improvements, but it was definitely amusing!
Great take on the theme! It took a little while to understand where to help each person, but once I mastered the scenarios I felt like I was doing pretty good! Really fun!
Great submission! Overall a really well polished game with great audio, graphics, and mood! Keep it up!
The art was pretty good, and I really liked the base mechanic of the game. The controls felt a bit clunky however, despite the fact that I almost never used them. Overall great game!
Sound effects and explosions were the best part of this game! I don't know what the objective was, or even if I could die, but it was fun despite that. The art was also very cool!
Besides the movement of the logs, it was a great game! Love the simplistic pixel art style!
Amazing work! Everything was really well polished, and despite the simple mechanic of the game, the gameplay was great! I see you are going to keep working on the game, so I wish you the best in both your game making aspirations, and in life!
Really good game! Took a while to get the strats down but I think I did pretty good! Love all the aspects of the game, keep it up!
Amazing dude! Took a little to understand all the actions, but I did end up winning! Very fun!
Amazing submission! The graphics and ideas were really great, but the only problem is the difficulty was pretty easy, and the bacteria was pretty small. Other than that, amazing work man!
Art, sound, and idea are good, but the controls are a bit weird. You have to boost to dodge a hit, and sometimes it doesn't reload in time. Other than that, amazing game! (Also you say please "hate" us on LD46 on itch.io)
This was very well done and polished submission! I really liked the dancing animations and the music to go with it, but I unfortunately couldn't figure out how to make the people leave. Other than that, great work dude!
The concept was very good! My only problem with the game is the camera was really off at times, sometimes so much I couldn't see the ball or the player. Other than that, this is one of the most polished game I have seen, and the visuals are awesome!
The pixel art is absolutely amazing! A memorable submission!
The voice acting is just too good. . .
Good submission overall! Really liked the concept, but as the other comment says if finished it would be astounding! I really hope you continue to work on it!
This game was great! I definitely had a lot of fun, and the graphics, audio, and overall polishing was pretty good! My only complaint is that I actually spawned on a ghost, and it didn't help that that was my first time playing. Besides the spawning though, great work!
I love everything about this game! The graphics, gameplay, and audio all were very good, and I had a lot of fun. The only thing I disliked was there was no way to heal. Maybe for every 5 deaths or something, you got back a life?
Love the base mechanic of the game, but the controls were a bit off. I feel like a more fluid motion out of the fridge would be good, and either less speed or more friction for the toaster would make it good. Other than the controls, great submission, and really cool idea!
A tutorial or rules would be nice, but after reading your instructions here I understood. For some reason, I kept losing life even when killing the robots. Don't know if I was doing anything wrong, but solid submission, keep it up! EDIT: Never mind saw how to recharge.
Great idea! Loved the concept and the simple one screen. Only remarks is the graphics were lacking, the movement was a little hard to get down (maybe have faster rotation on the guns), and the game loop was not finished. Really liked the concept though, the color coordination and simple gameplay lead to a really fun and unique game!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiEDM7zHiyY A youtuber made a video on my submission! Go check him out!
@lou-bagel and @spacestrawberriesstudio you have to download both files to get it to work.
@boxedmeatrevolution yes i probably should upload a zip file, thanks for the input. Potatoes are very cool, and i can safely say are the most versatile food.
@devook thanks for the input! I tried to limit the amount the potatoes could move on the x axis and increase the amount on the y axis to increase reaction time and make it more balanced. I definitely will not have italics in my next game, so thanks for the tip. Also, as far as sounds go, I have never used sound in a game, and although wanted some background music, didn't have time to implement any. This is actually my first game jam, and only 4th month of game dev, so thanks for the advice!
Pretty awesome and the setting was great. Instructions a bit unclear but once I figured it out it was pretty fun!
still don't have a clue what I'm doing and you're already done lol
