Made it to the end with 43 points. It's a cute concept and the art theme is cohesive and nice looking!
What caught me by surprise was that the food has physics enabled - I fed my dinosaur things by accident a few times like that at first, but then I had fun tossing around stuff in my house. Quarantine makes you go a little crazy, after all.
There were some weird bugs I didn't understand - when I advanced time, sometimes food would appear from nowhere (intended?) and when I bought the deal, it didn't seem to be what it said it was. For example, I'd buy "2 pizzas for 10" and get a bunch of fruit, with some of the fruit being uninitialized to values of 0. Also, the tutorial is good, but you can still click on things hidden by the tutorial boxes, like the clock - I ended up advancing a few days by accident at first.
Keep it up!
@sayumeki Yeah, I pushed an update now that fix the "only fruit from deals" bug, no empty items and disabling the collision on the clock while in the tutorial.
**Physics** - I will probably make some items a little heavier in the post jam version.
**Disappearing food** - I will have to look more into that one.
Thanks for the feedback!
Aghh this is brilliant! really funny, and hits the theme. Nice choice of colour palette. Awesome job! :D

This game makes me question my plans to adopt a dinosaur.
Maybe the meaning of black and yellow bars can be explained more. Also I have a feeling that food becomes questionable sooner then expected, but maybe it's just me. Otherwise - nice game!
Great compromise between simplicity and complexity in both the mechanics and the art style. It comes off as polished and intentionally a "fun" style instead of looking like a jam game.

Really cute graphics, challenging game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/ZEPFZEokffw

Really cool concept! It seemed polished, and was very humorous! My only criticism is that sometimes I wanted to feed it a certain food, but ended up hitting other foods into my dinosaur and ending up ruining the current game. Other than that, great work!

It was really fun to play at your game ! I liked a lot the manage system between the food and the dinosaur, plus the fact that the food can rot. However, it was quite frustrating with the physic when I moved too quickly the food, the wrong ones went in my dinosaur x)
Moreover, the lack of sound design (feedback and music) missed a lot during my playthrough.
But, overall I managed to finish your game, and I really enjoyed, good work ! (my score: 58, not bad, isn't it ?)
Great work, it's really hard to create a management game within 72 hours (I know it...)
I was too bad to keep my dinosaur alive  maybe because of the lack of Vitamin. All elements I got was 0 or less in Vitamin. Too hard to keep this datas up...
Also, make my mouse disappeared when I hover an element made me unconfortable.
The humor is here, and the idea is well executed. Nice job!
This just shows that you never should have a pet dinosaur during quarantine :joy: But seriously, a really fun and challenging resource management game you got here! The biggest challenge was finding anything with vitamin! Other than that, I was able to keep my dinosaur happy... for a while
Fun game. Enjoyed playing it. I liked the art style although I couldn't survive for 15 days in 3-4 attempts. I'll try more later.
Great concept - the physics on the food added a neat extra touch of difficulty. The food buying seemed a little weird and buggy in my play through. Adding in some time based rot and nutrient decay could be a fun way to ramp up the difficulty. Just a thought. Fun game overall!

I love the concept of this! And I can't help but wonder if you have any kids, because this is remarkably like keeping a child fed during quarantine ;) It was neat being able to rearrange the shelves and have the food be like physics tokens, this gave me an added extra challenge of mistakenly feeding the dinosaur sometimes when food would bounce over to it. For the post-jam version, I'd recommend setting some colors to indicate the different stats. It'll let players more quickly figure out what food items they want to toss into the dino. Thank you for sharing this game!
That was fun! The graphics were good, and I like absurd situations like this. Does anyone here have a dinosaur in its kitchen?
