LD27 — 10 Seconds

Duke Dashington by AdventureIslands 2013-08-26T01:46:00

Yep, that is quality - I really like the graphics and it kept me hooked all the way to the treasure (cursing myself, and quite possibly you at the same time)!

7Tulips by pinkmonkeyhead 2013-08-26T11:09:00

Cool, "Out There" and a lot of fun, highly playable!

Gas and Air! by tripleVisionGames 2013-08-26T01:28:00

I love the look, and the game is suitably frustrating - picking up oil is a bit like playing an endless runner version of Lunar Lander :)

Red Buttons by flod 2013-08-26T01:33:00

I certainly panicked!

Test Chambers by 0xc0dec 2013-08-26T01:30:00

Great sound track and moody art :)

Royal Defenestrator by BasmanovDaniil 2013-08-30T06:51:00

Brilliant!

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-08-26T03:20:00

Yeah to make the turn radius slower you need to release the W key and tap it :)

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-08-26T03:23:00

That and shooting with the mouse need to be improved for sure!

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-08-26T11:06:00

The music is a composition loop I made in Garage Band. I WISH I'd used different keys (they weirdly feel ok to me, but given the feedback...)

Shoot the UFOs, especially as they are highlighting a problem in my camera controller ;)

Adventures of Schrodinger's cat by Cryunreal 2013-08-30T17:50:00

Absolutely amazing looking game, I love it.

10 Second Mazes by ArmchairArmada 2013-08-26T01:35:00

I really like the sound and the art - nice stuff!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep the Tree Alive by g12345 2020-04-23T13:38:29Z

Very interesting... I love the framework.

Until We Freeze by icxon 2020-04-21T04:27:15Z

Has a very cool feel to it. I enjoyed chopping down trees and exploring. Had a sense of place for sure! Felt the controls were odd with relation to the direction of movement and the rotation using the mouse and I thought climbing felt wrong - but nice control system on the hands and the interactions, felt very natural quickly.

The Vending Machine by wrexialmt 2020-05-05T21:49:17Z

I like the idea of wanting to wait to get more reward, but the pay off needs to be better. The feeling of not knowing how long works actually - but just need more reason to see what will happen and have that kick in early so I get the point. Interesting idea.

Body Crisis by oberynmartell 2020-05-05T22:04:14Z

Harder to play on a track pad but lots of fun!

Down to Earth by ruthiepee 2020-04-29T10:15:44Z

I get the logic behind the firing, but it didn't make it as engaging to play as it might have been. Liked the look and the motion of the game world.

You Reap What You Shoot by darkfrost 2020-04-22T22:31:43Z

I think it looks good and I like the drag around mechanic. I found it a bit easy to play and didn't feel a lot of threat, but I loved all the power ups and was compelled to keep playing more than a lot of games.

LAST HUMAN by GuitarBro 2020-04-21T04:29:50Z

Was fun to play, when I worked out I had to stay in motion I began to get the real sense of panic because I had a greater chance of being able to win!

For Ducks' Sake by GaryS 2020-04-23T09:15:48Z

That was a lot of fun. Nice to see Phaser in use! I ended up falling back to plain Pixi as I just didn't need anything else and I'm glad to see others not using Unity for simple games! Well done...

Tyson Lee: KEEP IT ALIVE EDITION by CPTN-B 2020-04-29T20:53:32Z

What a great idea, had my brain a bit fried. Very compelled to play through the scenarios. I think this could have been nicely executed directly in HTML and perhaps could have benefitted from some nice open source charts etc to visualise things like the 2hz/4hz frequency as a square wave etc.

Mutiny by Cataractar 2020-04-23T13:50:26Z

My sea shanties weren't very good lol. Enjoyed it, also suffered a little from not quite getting the moves I wanted but figured it out.

Isle of Light by Lexi89 2020-04-23T13:29:21Z

Just loved this, very smooth and fun to play. Really nice polish. Loved the sound scape.

LIFE:anti-viral by whydoidoit 2020-04-21T05:03:02Z

Ah yeah, spawn them yourselves to play against the levels. You tap the circles and drag @simin. That's what comes of not having time for a tutorial. The idea is that one player sets them up and another tries to defeat them.

LIFE:anti-viral by whydoidoit 2020-04-21T05:28:16Z

@lectvs - think this is @no-grape-games point lol -> press any of the games in the list! I'll add a button

LIFE:anti-viral by whydoidoit 2020-04-23T14:35:51Z

Oh that's odd! It runs in Chrome on a Mac lol! Browsers....

And yeah the plan was for a Clash of Clans style online leaderboard. I got it 1/2 working. So you attack someones defences and they do yours etc. Maybe later!

LIFE:anti-viral by whydoidoit 2020-04-25T10:30:28Z

Yeah definitely needs the tutorial I ran out of time with, and the set of test levels... oh well!

Eggy Roll by RomaRogov 2020-04-21T13:17:56Z

On the web on my Mac there are frequent long lags that make it a little hard to control - I really like the graphics though and the motion is interesting to play with!

CODENAME: SPROUT by Keppu 2020-05-04T10:38:37Z

I enjoyed it a lot. I thought the changes to the alien were pretty funny and the balancing was interesting. Fun diversion for a few minutes and a great effort for the jam. Would need more content or areas maybe for a longer playing experience.

Final Flower: Petals of a Lost Age by Scott Steffes 2020-04-24T07:53:14Z

I love these kind of puzzles, also super polished experience. Very nice, well done!

The Well of the Past by Chocolat-Endive 2020-04-24T10:00:14Z

I loved the music (actually left it on playing while doing some work lol). The story was detailed and eloquent. I'd love to see this come to life more, but that's always the problem with game jams, never quite enough time...

Don't Go Grandpa by Ignacio Zamorano 2020-04-21T02:13:38Z

Looks really lovely!

Disscovid by Yusuf Tunç 2020-05-06T08:55:11Z

Well done on getting the endless runner going.

I'd suggest - distance fog so you can't see the elements coming into view. Some variety in the angles and slopes of the level sections - jumps, areas of falling etc. Clearlly power ups and more frequently collected things would have increased the excitement.

Movement could have been done with keys as well as on screen buttons for mobile. It's the start of something for sure...

Brain Training 101 by DigitalLimestone 2020-04-23T15:37:35Z

What a very cool idea and a lot of fun to play! Really high adrenaline!

Super Immunizer by kostasvs 2020-04-22T10:02:59Z

I loved it, looked great, played well and very polished. Perhaps a tweak to up the "adrenaline" a bit would be my only minor comment for improvement?

Late Medieval Network Engineer by MisterKeefe 2020-04-23T13:32:35Z

Very interesting idea!

LifeLine by pomeroyb 2020-04-21T04:35:20Z

This is a great game, I'm struggling with right click on my Mac trackpad, but the point is, I am struggling with it not just moving along to the next game. Classic "hard" puzzle. One of my favourites today for sure.

The Last Flower by Unimaginable_Code_Studios 2020-05-06T14:52:25Z

Brilliant work for a first LD at 11! Nice. I loved the sword throwing, it was very satisfying to blast enemies. Collision detection needs work and I found the controls a little tricky - but this is probably because I am way more than 11 haha.

The Birb by Ilimanic 2020-04-23T23:46:27Z

I liked the polish and the mood very much. Really like The Birb too, gave it a real sense of "otherness"

Lights Out by Aspect11 2020-04-21T04:05:33Z

Really like this, what a fantastic first Jam entry. It's clever, spooky and fully understandable. My favourite I've played so far.

Flamebearer by HolySparks 2020-04-23T00:27:13Z

Hey nice job, really reminded me of a game I tried to write back when all the only things were 8 bit lol (that's what comes of being so damn old!) I won't rehash other comments, but I did enjoy the jumps and the movement speed and control and went back for more a couple of times :). Well done on your first entry - way better than my first go!

Social Life by CharlieGray 2020-04-23T20:08:55Z

Thanks for the web version @charliegray ! Its a really cool mechanic, has that great ability to induce panic lol. Maybe I'm not so good a these games!

Bodyguard by AlphaQ 2020-05-09T09:18:23Z

I liked the idea. Found the wall hang controls a bit annoying but had a lot of fun.

Yakka by MidnightMist 2020-04-21T04:16:49Z

Really lovely art style. Well done for that. Sadly can't play on Windows (Mac user) - but honestly , the art is stunning.

water it by monblu 2020-04-28T13:09:33Z

Sadly the Mac version didn't run for me.... Said unable to find game

light. by Szivacs 2020-04-27T07:54:44Z

It is both beautiful and serene. Excellent use of the platform and the lighting. I'd have liked the audio to provide some sense of the danger, perhaps overlaying sounds or changing something subtly as the orb gets close to objects. Perhaps due to this and to not really understanding my progress towards the level goal or my remaining life, I found myself not as motivated to keep playing as I might have been had I managed to finish some shorter levels first to feel like I was capable of achieving something.

It feels very polished in execution and very smooth to play - I like it a lot.
