I'd love to try it but I'm getting an error telling me that Windows can't access the file! I'll give it another shot when voting comes around!

Realy nice concept in my opinion. Interesting ballance system.
@wilson-taylor Might be fixed now. I'm not sure since I didn't have that error on both of my machines. But I had a Windows Defender Problem on my Laptop and that's now fixed so maybe your error is also gone.
Nice job! It had a little bit of trouble fitting onto my computer screen but it was nice to play :)
@charliegray It is! Very cool concept, REAL TOUGH TOO but I like that in a jam game. Good stuff, man!
Great game, very nice done! I got 7958 points
I see you also did game in Godot, Why you did not upload html5 version? It is very easy with this engine
Game ramps up slowly, and diffuclty seems to hit all at once. I think the optimal strategy is just to mash 1+2+3 together and block everything if your trying to survive as long as possible. The inclusion of an online leaderboard is sick!
@sheetcode I tried, but I couldn't get the shader to work. The whole screen was just pink.
Nice concept, the tempo is slow at first, but eventually becomes interesting
Coffee is not that much of an actual energy  Is it okay that the fields "jump" when switching which one to move (on Linux)?
Great idea, I like it, it gets better with time
I like the concept of the game a lot, my only bit of feedback is that the game is too easy to start out, and then quickly ramps up in difficulty. A more gradual increase in difficulty would make doing multiple runs more enjoyable!
It was nice and slow to begin with but holy hell does it get tough after a while. Real nice and simple game. Thanks for the colourblind options as well!
My guy just ended up strung out on redbull with no fitness...would play again.
Cool as man, very simple and chill, love how you have a working highscores table
This was fun. It got really hectic at the end. Maybe the difficulty ramps up too quickly. I love that there is a leaderboard.
Really impressed with all you were able to get in! Feels like it would be a great mobile game, the addition of the colorblind feature was also a really smart move!
Wow, good music, nice sfx, simple yet effective. There is shields I do not control and though I was supposed to mix colours. I didn't work. This game has the potential to be a full fledged one! Good work.
Fun game. The control of the shields needs to be refined a bit, I didn't like the 123 control scheme much but as a proof of concept this was entertaining. Would make a good mini game for a larger social simulator or something.
Possibly having the shields at different layers would help a bit as well.
Very interesting concept. I really like that as it gets more intense you need to start playing tactically, moving certain colors into certain places. I'd love to see you balance that mechanic a little more so that it doesn't get difficult/impossible so quick. Definitely a balance to be struck there, and I really thing you're on the right track. Great game, and a great idea!
Fun game, very unique and great that you included a colour blind mode.
Pretty chill. That's sweet you have a color blind mode that looks pretty dope as well! Minor "bug" though, you can kind just keep scrolling the mouse constantly and the game seems to be much easier.
It is very fun, could be a mobile game, im sure i would play it hahaha
Nice game the sound is chill.. Its really cool how there is a leader board. I did have an issue with how big the colors ring around my character was they get lost when they overlap. Thanks for making games!
I got 6982 :) Very simple and interesting. Good controls, too. I like it!
Well Done! Played for a bit. Cool idea!
Very thoughtful to put the color-blind mode
Leaderboard is a nice touch. Dig the music too, so chill. Really nice concept. Sometimes couldn't preemptively tell what each item would do to my bars though - ended up using trial and error to work out what does what.
Awesome concept, good job!
Thoroughly enjoyed the game, and the music was very nicely relaxing
Had a hard time learning to control the shields. Ended up dying from energy. I would like to see more "extra" events during the gameplay.
Nice game! Life is hard :(
Congrats on your first entry! Definitely better than mosts first, however I didn't completely understand the game play or concept, but some nice art! Keep it up bro, hope to see you again next year.
Congrats on your first entry! Well at first it's confusing and you don't know what to do, so it's by default you just keep deflecting those events until you take one. That's where it starts. However, I thought these factor drain over time but that's fine since you did a +/- system.
As for the shields themselves, I found myself just scrolling the mouse wheel instead of the 1,2,3. You should disable this as it made the shields act as only 1 shield.
It's pretty alright. Let this be a stepping stone for you~
Really liked it, the only thing was it was hard to see the color shields while they were overlapping sometimes, I would suggest bringing the currently moving shield to the top layer above all the others, and having them be opaque colors (unless that difficulty element was intentional.) also maybe make the color of the background be the color of the currently moving shield, besides that I loved it, really good first entry! Good job!
I really liked it. Like A LOT! Simple yet on point graphics, nice calm music and intuitive controls. I got around 7500 points. At the start I thought it is really easy and you can also stack all your color shields together, but at the end I realized the benefit of having three different shields. Also the colorblind addition is very thoughtful. Amazing job congratulations! (Also are the high scores online?)
If those scoreboards are online I made the front page! Fun. I like the effects on the incoming events. I spent the early game just scrolling and deflecting everything, then in the late game I had no idea what to do. Not sure how much of that is my skill vs. the mechanics of the game.
First of all, the music is really really good, lets get that right. I would legit add that track to my work/study playlist.
Second: Colour blind mode: Awesome. I love it when people think about accessibility with their game-jam games. It shows that they're thinking about players when designing their systems.
Physically, it actually feels really good to play because of the reactive rotation of the shields with the mouse. However, the actual mechanics though are a bit confusing. From what I can tell you want to block needs that are quite full because they will reduce the other needs? I think it needs some more explanation, and after that potentially additional complexity to be engaging.
I think there is a solid mobile game hidden in here that I would definitely play while chilling on the couch.
I enjoyed the mechanics of the game. Thanks for the good time!
Excellent aesthetic-based game! The color switching mechanic was a bit confusing at the beginning, but after a while I got the hang of it.
ngl I failed in the social department
Thanks for the web version @charliegray ! Its a really cool mechanic, has that great ability to induce panic lol. Maybe I'm not so good a these games!
Great and creative game! The mechanichs are simple and the challenge is high. Nice graphics and audio. It gives something to think about our own needs.
In the web version there's a probles using the mouse as the wheel keeps scrolling and is hard to keep tracking of the cursor.
Quick to pick up but difficult to master. Enjoyed the relaxing tune. Haven't seen this sort of balancing mechanic before. Very unique. Good job!
cool mechanic you got there and music is awesome
Just like in real life, there was a momment I was waving the shields around randomly (around 5-6k points?). Finished with 8585 points. Really enjoyed the concept and the graphics, even the music.
How much time do you spend at the computer? I can't sit at the computer for a long time, because my back starts to hurt, but you know, I found funds from the https://www.sfweekly.com/sponsored/what-is-cbd-cream/ website that allows me to get rid of pain, as well as fatigue, which allows me to sit at the computer longer and play various games. If you also have back problems or fatigue, then follow the link and order this medicine for yourself.
