I got 1000 points and saved 3 trees, HOORAY! Everything was awesome, but especially the music!

I like the particles moving in screen space... made it easier to hit the asteroids. Also nice explosion sprite. Could have used a bit more feedback when plants or animals died, I think. nice work!

The graphics and sound were really well done, they really drew me into the game. I was a bit turned off by the gameplay, through - my bambooka didn't shoot where my mouse cursor was, and the asteroids started falling so fast I found it optimal to just run around the planet and blindly fire.

silkworm-sweatshop 2020-04-24 22:56

The art is beautiful and super charming and the music is fitting too! Sadly I found that the most effective way to deal with the asteroids was to just hold down the shoot button and run circles around the planet which kinda takes away from the challenge.

Very nice execution, but maybe a bit unrewarding gameplay unless I misunderstood? But compo is compo, so well done. Would've loved to know what happened when I'd protected against enough meteors.

I like the idea and the feeling of shooting asteroids with coconuts, but it seems like I could keep the last flora and fauna alive forever - I got to 4000 before giving up.

I really liked the concept you used for the game, the simple gameplay and the aesthetic elements are very good too. I recommend a little balance in the volume, when the asteroids explode it is very strong and makes the music lose at one point.

The graphics and music were great! The bambooka didn't fire correctly though when you clicked the mouse button. It always fired up instead of the the angle it was at but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game! Alas in the end I was not able to save the flora or fauna. Well done!

I love the way this game looks! The pleasantly drawn aesthetic is the best part of this game. It looks great!

The angle of the gun doesn't match where it is shooting which threw me off multiple times. I was also able to cheese the game by holding the mouse button and running straight.

The game itself is a fun defense game with a lot of charm! Good game!

I thought it was gonna be too easy then the meteors really started coming down and it was really intense! The gun fires a bit too fast though so it almost acts like a laser, you can hold down the mouse and just run around the planet and kill most meteors. I loved how populous the planet was at the beginning and it eventually gets reduces to one little bunch that you are dedicated to protecting, but I wish there was a penalty for meteors hitting elsewhere on the planet, so you had to choose between your last little flower and the planet.

Fun game! I got 853 score!

Interesting concept with the spinning globe. Also good work with the sound effects and music. Well done!

celia14 2020-04-28 01:22

This is so cute and fun! The graphics are so charming - I love the cavewoman's confident expression, even when barraged with meteors! It was fun to run around the tiny globe and it was exciting when the meteors picked up. The music was great, too! Nice job!

natalie-sodomkova 2020-04-29 08:04

Really nice, in the end I was just protecting one tree for really long time. Good job

garygreen 2020-04-29 08:21

The art and music and great. I enjoyed this fun twist on a shoot em up. Nice work. :)

delph 2020-04-29 08:30

The art sound and music are all absolutely excellent, nice job!

Unfortunately because the coconuts move with you (rather than with the world), the most effective strategy is to just hold a direction and click fire repeatedly which somewhat undermines the game part. (As also noted the coconuts don't really go where you feel like you're aiming them but that's a bit inconsequential against the you can move the in flight coconuts by running!)

Still really excellent work on the assets. They're all lovely.

whydoidoit 2020-04-29 10:15

I get the logic behind the firing, but it didn't make it as engaging to play as it might have been. Liked the look and the motion of the game world.

spthiel 2020-04-29 10:33

Can agree mostly to @delph, the best strategy I came up with was holding down leftclick and d and then waiting for my score to increase (I gave up after 3500). Aside from that I think that the destruction sound of the meteorites is too loud relative to the music so you cannot apprechiate the music as much :(

aeveis 2020-04-30 01:24

I got over 5000 points before stopping. At first I was running around holding down shooting straight up, and then realized the best strat is to shoot into the earth so the coconuts come up from the ground (the lowest point possible) to hit the asteroids. I think you can go forever like this without dying. I could also see the player having to fire into the earth to grow more plants or feed the dinos as an alternative to keep the life on earth alive. I liked the art and the dinos! nice job!

Wow, that woman must be quite stronglegged, running around the plant in a sec, while holding and shooting the bambooka :D. Great Game. I like it a lot. The music as Great. Graphics and animation are beautiful and onpoint for a Jam-Game. Sometimes i had some problems hitting the asteroids. Lovely Game, Thank you :)
