Classic but amusing. The player must enslave a population then sacrifice it in order to build a palace. The game is really easy and a few minutes are sufficient to beat the game. It is sometimes hard to move slaves around are they are really small. Thank you for your submission!

9:13 :D Took me a while to figure out that I can drag the slaves.
Not bad, I liked simplistic art style and sound. In my opinion however, the game was just a little too easy, and was easily finished on my first try. Furthermore, once you got a solid system laid down , it was pretty much just wait, drag slave for money, drag slave to make love for more slave , and repeat until I got 200$.
Perhaps try to up the difficulty a little by making buildings have higher energy consumption, for random events? Either way, and your first LD game, nice job!
Took me nine minutes! Great game. Had lots of fun!
Hey, a nice concept, i liked the idea of managing people to do certain tasks. Yes it has flaws or i'd rather say, that with some Quality of Life improvements it would be a great game.
What i mean is : Simple AI that would make people go to closest building or some top priority tasks (like producing more people :)) Double click to put a unit into a closest building Being able to remove a building (sell for money or food)
I would also love to read some jokes that these units would randomly say when you drag them around (like good old Warcraft strategy games)
Overall i enjoyed the game, but due to the fact that i filled all the available slots with the buildings, i couldn't place the main building and finish the game :)

Maybe it's too simple in the sense that there is no way you can make a mistake and it's super obvious how to beat it but I love how it completely fulfills the one idea that it has. The same can be said about graphics: it's super simple but it's perfect in it's simplicity :)

I was worried at first, an idle game in a Ludum Dare?
But I finished it in 6 minutes, so good job, you ownt your timing. The game is classic but well executed. Good job :)

Wow, what a fun little game! Big congratulations! It would be really great if you could tear down some buildings, as well as a way of seeing if theres already a single slave in the 'love pot'. But even without these features, your game is really fun and suits the theme!
It feels weird... I kinda wish you would have made the atmosphere of the game feel darker to match the subject matter, or over the top cutesy... you know, to match the subject matter. System was designed well, though! Good job.

Putting two slaves in a cauldron, letting them make a baby, sacrifice the baby for 5$ few seconds later. Everything about that sounds so evil, and it's wonderful.

the game is fun, but it is fast to find an optimal way of doing things... It would be great if the player had an incentive to try to go faster (some pre-determined time to beat, for example)

Thanks everyone for playing!
@m2e ohh, I'll try to make it more clear next time. Thanks for your feedback!
@dioinecail I love your idea of the slaves telling jokes while being dragged to their sacrifice! :joy: Thanks for your feedback!
@spidamoo & @darylsteak My first build was really hard, but I realized that I prefer a more relaxed approach. Maybe a bit more difficulty would be fine. Thanks for your feedback!
@pleyad Knowing if there is any slave in the love machine is a good idea. I'll keep in mind if I make another build. Thanks for your feedback!
@kurt-roembke I wanted lighter graphics becouse you are a good man who just want a palace. Nothing wrong here :)
@los :grin:
@vjmunhoz A pre-determided time to beat is a good idea! Ill keep it in mind for a post-ludum build. Thanks for your feedback!
