Fun game! I like the idea of going to different countries and jumping over their stuff ;) I also loved the music. Good job! 10/10 running animation

Fun game! I like the idea of going to different countries and jumping over their stuff ;) I also loved the music. Good job! 10/10 running animation
Nice game! I had a good time playing it. I Love how you have to push the volcanoes back into the ground :p
Really great game! Had a blast playing. At first it was little confusing and I didn't really know what was going on but after one round I figured it out and ended up getting to the ship at the end :) I love how the music changes slightly as you activate each tower. (Or was that just my imagination?) I liked the strategy involved, good job on the design. My only criticism would be that it isn't that easy to get into initially. But excellent game overall :)
You've created a nice atmosphere, good job. The controls felt a little clunky but I loved exploring all the planets. I had a fun time :)
Great concept, and well executed too! Enjoyable puzzles :)
Haha, had fun playing this, even though it was really short! I love the idea you came up with, very funny :) Played the post-jam version too.
A little difficult to play, but you seem to have a nice concept here. I liked the sound effects and your back story :)
Had some troubles playing your game :( I think I understood the first menu.. But whenever I got the planet into the black container it just started spinning around it out of control and flew off.
@somethinboutgames I'm on Win 10, 64 bit. Happens every time lol, even after restarting multiple times. Interestingly, if I open up fraps and start recording the game, it doesn't happen! I think it's got something to do with the fps & movement/acceleration speed?? When fraps is open and not recording, it shows like >1000 fps and the problem still happens. When i start recording the fps drops to 60 and it the problem no longer occurs. Weird though because all the other movement seems to be independent of if I'm recording.
A well polished game! I love the graphics and whole theme. The gameplay felt really tight too. Good job overall :)
Had fun playing this :) I like how the shots didn't come from the centre so it was a bit more difficult to play. Sound effects would have made it feel more complete. Overall nice game!
Really shit myself the first time the dark star appeared lol, love the sound effects! It was nice to eat up the dark star later on after getting bigger >:D Fun game, good job!
Great game! Really love the art and animation, makes it stand out. The music was perfect too. Took me a while to get it but after a bit I was able to keep it alive through the seasons. I guess it would have been nice to have more terrain combinations for a little deeper play, but for the jam time constraints you've managed to get quite a lot in, good job :)
Nice game! The physics felt really tight and well implemented :) I loved the art too. You have a fun mechanic here, maybe you could build it into a full game with levels?
Nice little game :) You have an interesting idea here. With a little more work, you could turn it into something really addictive ;) It feels good so far though!
Cool game! The graphics are really great, I also like how you've got so many mechanics. Needs a bit of polish but overall nice job :)
Really love this idea! Very original and well polished game. A little confusing presentation, took me a while to figure out i wasn't moving through space, rather just moving around a spherical planet. Had a lot of fun though :)
Nice game! I like the intense resource management concept, made for fast paced play :)
Very polished game! Jumping and collecting things felt really good. I like the different jump mechanics, it's fun to try them all out!
Had fun playing this! I like how the gameplay was super tight and felt smooth, well implemented. Nice entry.
Excellent game! Had a really good time playing. I loved how you explored the implications of the growing mechanic to produce interesting puzzles mixed with faster paced gameplay. Really good job.
Excellent game! Had a blast playing through it and getting the trophy :) Really nicely done with a lot of polish. I've followed you on Twitter!
Great game! Nice job on creating a whole, well balanced rts. Nice use of the theme too. Played it for longer than i should have ;)
Really fun game! I love the cool effect where you zoom into the hole of each level. I like how its kind of a mixture of puzzle and action game. Good job :)
You've created a nice atmosphere with this game. Exploring feels cool. I like how each planet is a mini-puzzle. One criticism I have is that it's not immediately clear that the circles near your ship are actually compasses. Good job on your first ever game!
Cute little game! I love the whole super retro aesthetic. The game felt really nice to play. I had a few rounds ;) Congrats on your first ever jam entry!
Nice idea! Had a lot of fun jumping around the world and trying to hit the meteors with rocks. I'm a fan of the simplistic graphics too, although some sound effects would have made the whole game feel so much more complete. Good job on your first game jam entry :)
Excellent game! Love the puzzles you created. Good job on slowly introducing mechanics that interact together in interesting ways. Loved it!
Fun game! I played it until I finally killed the world eater :p (Which was terrifying the first time I saw him lol) Really well done :)
Cool game! I love your art style and music, good job on writing the whole thing yourself too. Had fun playing :)
Duelling Banjos!!
Fun game! I loved the different enemy types you had, it created varied combat. The ui could use some work, but great job overall!
Love the concept! Well done. I like how the music creates such a good mood. Overall a really fun game :) I managed to make it round a few times.
Loved the mood you created here. The little touches didn't go unnoticed :) I made it outside!
Well polished game! The shooting and general gameplay felt really good and smooth. Needed some balancing though, I just kept on upgrading shooting speed and damage and the game was quite easy. Got to wave 8, fun game :)
Nice game :) I liked the mechanic and theme. Also congrats for using your own engine. The gameplay felt a little clunky and hard to control though. With a bit more work, this could be a really great puzzle game!
Fun game :) I had a great time dragging bridges with cars on them into other bridges and watching the cars fly :p One thing I'd say is that it felt like the game was running a bit slowly, but it was nice and polished overall, good job!
This is a cool idea and ends up changing the way you play, I was much more willing than usual to charge at enemies because I knew if I did any damage it would make it easier for the next run. However it gets repetitive to run through the level again and again, I'm not sure how you could improve this. Also the platforming was a bit floaty and buggy (If you hold jump near a wall you float upwards). Well done on putting all together in 48 hours though!
This game is hilarious and dark :p I love the meat grinder sound!
Really good game! We had very similar ideas ;) The levels are well designed and introduce concepts at a perfect pace. One thing to improve is the actual platforming, at the moment it feels a little janky and hard to control. Great job overall!
Cute game :p I love all the characters. The platforming is solid but it sometimes feels unfair because you can't see what's coming. Good job overall :)
Really interesting game! I like the original concept and art style. I ended up developing one tile to the max and got disappointed when it stopped advancing :p I wanted to see crazy space-age stuff. Overall I really enjoyed it though, very relaxing and polished :)
The environment was so good! It was awesome to look up and see the ceiling far away. I felt super calm exploring around, it was a nice space to be in :) The platforming was a little frustrating with lack of air control but I like how you could bounce off walls.
Super cute game! You were right we both basically arrived on the same mechanics :p This game felt well executed and polished. One thing I'd say is that at some points it was difficult due to the touchy platforming controls, but overall it was a really nice experience :)
I love this game! The whole aesthetic is really nice, good job on all the creature sounds and the cat animation. I like how I had to learn how each creature moved before I was able to grab it, awesome design! I managed to catch them all and get the ending. Great job overall!
I used medium graphics settings and jumping seemed to work fine :) This game is very well executed and polished, the highscores were awesome! We seem to have come up with similar mechanics too ;)
Crazy game :p Love the art and music. I liked how the gameplay was kinda strategic. I was so confused when the aliens turned up though!
Good job getting this done in 5 hours that's a crazy quick turnaround! Cool sound effects and poor bunnies :(
This game is really good! Lots of content and polished mechanics. I really liked how the different enemy types made you move and play in different ways. It meant you could combine them together to create lots of different scenarios. Also it's super cool how you can sacrifice abilities in any order and still finish every level, that must have been a pain in the ass to design :p. One problem I did have is sometimes a key would "stick on" but I don't know if this is a bug or my shitty keyboard lol. Better graphics and audio would have added a bit more polish. Really good job overall though!
Awesome game and great intro. Good job on including so much polish in 48 hours! I managed to get to wave 12 before the car blew up. The sacrificing is done in such a dark way too lol. At the very beginning I was wondering why my character wasn't moving properly, it took me a while to realise there was a max distance you could be away from the car. One bug I found is that if you keep shooting as the wave finishes, the audio will keep playing during the following menu. Really fun game overall though :)
Awesome first LD game! The music was cool and I liked the art, although it could be improved by picking one style/resolution and sticking to it. Congrats on finishing your first LD with such a well-executed game :)
Pretty solid game! Simple idea but quite fun :) It would have benefited from some more mechanics, but you have done a good job on the mechanics that are in the game. I also loved the penguin noises :p
This is a well designed and thought out game! I like the idea of flipping the usual metroidvania progression on its head but doing that means there's a bit of a learning curve at the beginning because you have all the powers unlocked. Well done on including so many interesting mechanics though! Cool game :)
I managed to finish it! Cool take on the theme, I think we ended up with similar ideas in our games :) Level 3 was tricky but after reading the comments on here I worked it out lol. Sometimes the physics were a bit frustrating but overall a great game :)
I really like tron-like graphics and your take on the theme. I think it was a cool idea to be able to sacrifice some of your movement for other perks, it led to some funny situations like when enemies would chase me and I'd have to do a 360 to get away because I couldn't turn left :p One thing I'd say is that it's easy to get a bit lost in the world due to the fixed camera angle. Overall cool game, good job!
This sofa is so damn soft
This is a really good game. I liked how you had to get the pink person to the finish while also clearing a path for the blue person. It took a while for me to realise that I could just switch between them as much as I wanted though! Some levels were quite hard because of this :p
Really nice art and cool game! The ability to quickly restart would have been nice, but it was very fun to build a working solution and see the hamsters all get to the end :)
This was a really cool idea :) I like how you always have an interesting choice to make: focus on avoiding obstacles or try to type "nothing" to clear the leaches off you. Maybe it's just me but for a while I thought I had to collect the leaches lol. I guess i'm just too used to collecting coins in games!
Really nice graphics! Well done one pulling off a game of this scope during the jam!
Cool game :) I love the music and graphics. Good job on teaching the controls/mechanics as you go along. The platforming felt very solid too! I managed to make it to the end!
This is a really good puzzle game, and very difficult :p It felt really tight and responsive. The undo feature was good and worked flawlessly. I also liked the subtle sound effects. I thoguht the tutorial was very good, but for some reason I just couldn't intuitively understand the mechanic where logs have two sides :( So I got stuck on level 5!
I think the game would have benefited from some ambient audio, and maybe some slower pacing? But then again, other people seemed to be able to get through it so I'm not too sure :p
I was able to complete the next two levels after skipping 5, but then I got stuck on 9. Maybe I'll return to this game when I've leveled up my brain.
So clever, had me properly laughing multiple times
Very fun! Love the art and how collecting the soul stones creates interesting moments later on as your soul wanders off
Cool game! I'm so upset I had to kill the cute alpacas though :p Good job on the fire shader. Also really good job on the extensive tutorial, a lot of jam games just drop you in with no explanation.
Some things that could have made it better: - Audio :) - I found the fire/enemy indicators at the edges of the screen a _little_ bit confusing at first, there was a lot of stuff on screen at once. Perhaps it could be improved by making the indicators more subtle or more obviously related to fire/alpacas.
Good job overall, this felt pretty polished!
Congrats on finishing your first LD :) I had fun playing! The concept fits the theme very well and I really liked the graphics. I also liked how the music seemed to get more intense when the bugs spawned, that was a nice touch :)
Here's a few things that would have made it even better: - Some explanation/tutorial: I was a bit confused when it first started. - It would have been nice if there were more interesting choices to make during gameplay. Perhaps some items could have an additional negative effect that you have to blanance out. - This is super minor but I noticed that the current item only switches when the key is released, it would feel a lot more responsive if it switched when the key was pressed.
Good job all round especially since it's your first LD game!
