This is amazing, easily one of my favorites of the Jam so far. I generally don't like FPS games, but you really hooked me in with the art style. VERY high marks.

I can't believe how complete this concept is. Great job, especially on the fog of war/tile appearing effect. I think this is one of the hidden gems of this Ludum Dare
Very cool! Got a definite Silent Hill vibe from the music which was VERY well done. I'm not a huge fan of the voxel style personally, but I was surprised to find I couldn't put down the game until I had solved the puzzle! Well done!
Wow - really solid entry for only a day's work! I really dug the music, and the lighting effect on the sub gun shots was neat!
Pretty much everything about this game is perfect. The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to select from a couple different cats, especially a black cat. Otherwise, pat yourself on the back because I love this.
An interesting idea for a game, but I had a little trouble discerning how to play in the (admittedly) little time I had to play it. Props for porting to Mac AND Linux!
I really appreciate the work that went into the battle system, you did a great job. I want to play a lot of games, so I don't get much time to spend with each one, but if you wanted to keep going with this i would suggest making the combat a little more fast paced, maybe like a rhythm game instead of pure turn-based? Still, very cool to see a complete jRPG-style game done in 72 hrs, even if you are using pre-made assets.
Cool! I often wish there were more shooters on LD. Just as a suggestion, you should give the player some way to get out of dying if they accidentally let a monster through. I hope you compete again!
This game is, quite frankly, amazing for an LD entry. The level of polish you've achieved here is amazing.
Has an interesting look, it would be nice if there was some music though.
Adorable game! I had a little trouble getting the wall jump mechanic to work consistently though.
Love the art style - reminds me of something from the SNES!
Really funny concept, but I wish there was just slightly more to the gameplay. I had to avoid the darkstar once and it was really intense and fun! Then I got huge and smashed it, too, haha. Very well done for the compo!
Very meta. I loved the artwork, particularly the overworld tiles!
A relentlessly cute little game. I really dig it, but your little mans needs an adorable little walk animation!
Pretty neat game! I like the little sword swing animations.
An interesting idea, might be more fun with real people.
One of the better uses of the theme that I've seen, but I think I'd like it better if the jump was a smooth ascent instead of snapping into the highest position. Well done all the same!
Very cool how there's lots of animation! It would be kind of nice to have a little music next time so they can rock to the beat!
I liked this a lot, and ended up getting sucked in the by the gameplay! I ended up beating quite a few levels once I got the hang of it! The only thing I would say is that would be cool if there were a couple of different tilesets. Well done!
You've got a very professional look but the main mechanics could use a little polishing. I also found the sticky mechanic hard to use, and it'd be nice to have some sound effects for the various abilities.
I'm not much for these crafting type games but you get maximum points for theme. It doesn't get much more small world than dwarf planet!
Man, I am blown away that you did this for the compo. Well done, a very cool arcade style game with lots of charm and polish. Hats off.
Cutting features always sucks, but you should be proud for crossing the finish line! Unlike me in your game, I killed too many people in highway accidents :(
Would have been a good idea for a coin-op back in the day!
I liked this a lot, just a really fun arcade style game, with adorable art to boot! It does get a bit boring after a while though, if some monsters chased the player and you could only kill them by lining up the space debris, it would be really cool! Well done!
very cool concept although it might be nice if the world was a little bigger, and if you could aim a little easier. Sweet entry none the less!
I like the design of the ghost, but I wish he was animated a little bit more. It feels like maybe this needed a little more time. I tried a little, but I couldn't figure out what to do in the first level.
Despite being racist towards green people ("I recommend shooting them") it was a cute and fun platformer and i really enjoyed the gravity based gameplay!
An impressive amount of polish for LD. I'm always amazed when people take on sim games and the like. Well done!
Really, really dug the art style. It looks like some stuff is being anti-aliased still, maybe.
I tried to play the game but my super low end system couldn't handle it. Sorry. :(
A very cool little platformer! If the art style was a little more consistent it would be at least as good as many of the mascot games I used to play back in the 90's.
Think you did a wonderful job, love the graphics, also like the way the bullets loop around, that's a nice touch. Well done!
You really nailed the humor! Very amusing, and props for completing the compo!
Very cool game! Loved the music and the graphical feel in general. Would be nice if there were some kind of critters or other obstacles to navigate, though.
Excellent. It is such a treat to play such a complete, polished game. I sat down and saw all the levels and though 'man it feels kinda bad skipping all this content...' but I found myself hooked up until the last level. Well done.
The penguin noise was the best choice you made, hilarious! Interesting gameplay, but I couldn't quite get the hang of it in the short time I played it.
Very well done. Wish there was a way to count the laps!
It was a little tough for me to figure out what to do or what was going on. I'm not really a hardcore RTS person though. Congrats on completing your game though!
Very silly indeed. Much like life, things seem to work out best if you're the one doing the kicking.
Holy Hannah this is cool! I don't know if there's much more variation in the enemy times, but I really liked the controls, defending my lil' planet from those eyeball jerkwads. Really cool!
Very neat, but I think maybe you should throw the shield less far and maybe zoom the camera in a little, it felt kind of sparse when the levels were smaller.
