Despite having a classical gameplay, this game is well made and balanced, good job!

The second level doesn't seem possible. I didn't have enough speed to jump over the two blocks in my way and no way to increase my speed.
I enjoyed game quite a bit! I don't really get the take on the theme the faster the worse i guess? But it was fun and the quick re spawn made the deaths much less frustrating. I too am a student and I applaud you for taking part in ludum dare good luck in life!
The graphics look great, despite them being basic shapes. I don't know if it's just me, but the performance isn't great, perhaps due to the fact it's a WebGL version. I recommend you export it to desktop :)
Very fun game! 231 deaths to beat it! Really cool, well done! :D
'Only' 63 deaths :) I think most of them were due to me dying and then immediately spawning and jumping, because I was already going to jump. Some levels seemed impossible to get right in one go, because you had to jump immediately. Anyway, nice work.
That was a hard but COOOL game. I like it, reminds me of Super Hexagon. I can't find any flaws except you should have the option to turn off screen shake. Very nice job!

Really cool game, not quite sure quite what the hexes were for. I think when you die it should pause and make you click to start moving because sometimes its hard to get where you are. But overall fun game could easily be a good mobile game it reminds me a bit of geometry dash.
The game is fun, good job! It's just a little bit hard to recover from a death since the hex respawns instantly, but it gives a good incentive to avoid dying so it's fine!
Nice game! It felt a little weird to start with the remaining height after dead in the level restart, but overall it was fun to play. I played it twice. The first time I collected all the hexes. In the second run I left out one, it was easier that way. Loved the red - orange color scheme and the music is quite nice!
It's kinda Geometry Dash, but graphics and music are cool and playing is fun. At the beginning of each level could be some free space - got a bit stuck perma-dying in some levels :D
On one hand, I would've liked it to be a little longer. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I would have had to quit if it got much harder than it is at the end! I think this is a solid use of the theme. The more hexes you have, the more deaths you'll get, but they also get you points, so it forces you to decide how and when you're going to make that trade-off.
Nice simple concept and execution, although some of the levels felt a little unfair; more so the ones that had obstacles directly next to the spawn. Link to the theme is arbitrary, used more of just a diagetic way to increase the difficulty/speed, as far as I am aware there is no way to get to the end of a level without picking one of the hex's up? Despite this, after some balancing this is a game on par with the likes of Super Hexagon, nice one!
>Hexes Collected: 3 _Waitaminute_, I could have avoided those?
Fast and intuitive, very nice :)
43 deaths! A nice idea and fun to play, although I learned quite quickly most levels involved basically jumping before the hexagon was even on screen. Would like to see more levels, maybe they could be procedurally generated with some simple machine learning code that checks whether levels are possible to complete. ;)
I really loved the graphic design in this! It works very nicely and creates a very good atmosphere. The soundtrack was very cool as well. The gameplay was easy to control and incredibly difficult at times. Respawning felt a little weird though. Overall, a very nice game to play for a few rounds :D
Pretty basic, but consistent graphics, I like it! The music is getting on my nerves after some time, but hey - we don't have any music at all in our game ;-) I really don't understand how the speed is regulated, the last level is only manageable when the player is fast enough - is this changing per death?
It's good to see a game dev student with a bit of passion. I was on a 4 year game dev course in the UK and it was very rare that anybody involved themselves in extra curricular activities such as Dare. The game feels great to play and is visually coherent. The levels are designed well and flow perfectly for the most part (a few required you to press the jump button almost immediately which was slightly frustrating). The use of checkpoints on each half of the levels removes the frustration one might otherwise have experienced. The only improvements I can think of suggesting right now are UI related (a different font - not sure pixel font fits the game, some more game feel for the UI ( pop the deaths stat out slightly when it increments, etc)) Overall a really good entry.
Great one! Enjoyed it a lot) I felt that previous death influenced next game play, that shake or smth, that was strange. But overall great one! Thank you a lot)
This was great. I wish humor was a category for you. I would have given much star points as, by the third or fourth level, I was dying faster than I could think and could do little about it because I was so euphoric. CRASH CRASH CRASH, in the space of an instant I have lost three lives and I do not care because when I finally make it over the first obstacle there is another hidden off screen. Downright cheeky. Even funnier, upon respawning, you maintain the trajectory at the time of your last death. So when I try jump again after I die, I am still in the air and jump late only to die again. This all results in a greater death factor in the area of about 6. You could have done better with the theme, but so what.
Nice! Reminded me of "The Impossible Game", or whatever that game was called :) Timing the jumps was fun, however there seems to be a delay in some jumps. For example, if you press space just before you die, the next life you spawn jumpijng, which was pretty frustrating at times. :O Liked the graphics and the music
Great game and interesting playstyle. The music almost killed my ears though :(

Since it seems there's a few minor things that a few people aren't so keen on in the game, I'm looking to add in a few settings to mute bits of audio and reduce camera shake. But is it within the rules of Ludum Dare to update the game to add these even after the deadline?
Nice game. Had a lot of fun playing it. I really liked how you set up the atmosphere of the game using the art-style, music and text fonts. Felt really like I was playing some old retro game. I think it was good that you included the level count. That was really motivating for me and kept me playing until I reached the end. Would have loved if the levels where you have to almost jump immediately would give you a little bit of more time to do so. I also liked that you used your first level as kind of a tutorial. Would have loved it though when there would have been some explanation for the hexes, which you can pickup. Because I didn't get it at first that they speed you up.
All in all keep the up the good work!
