LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Duality by cxsquared 2015-12-14T05:54:00

Nice graphics, great music; flash player does have it's issues (clicking outside the area by accident -> freeze).

Cool game!

Left-leaning by tayl1r 2015-12-15T03:42:00

Super fun, but making me very aggressive after a while!
I love the way the crashed cars stay in the arena...

In fact this is a one-button game.

Mobsferatu by CremaGames 2016-01-05T01:35:00

Very cool! Cool graphics, great tune. And it's 3D!
The mood is also fitting.

Enliven by Patacorow 2016-01-05T01:28:00

Awesome pixel art, great music, and cool game mechanics, I love it! Though it's a bit too hard for me, especially the beanstakes are growing too fast. The growing theme is moderately used, but there are definitely more than two buttons.
One of the best games of LD34!

Concrete Jungle by Miltage 2015-12-17T01:02:00

Nice idea, cool music, nice physics effects. Very fitting for the themes! Extremely polished, just a bit short, and not very demanding.
Actually more art than game. I mean this in the positive sense.

Get to the Points by recursor 2015-12-22T01:00:00

Very nice, polished puzzle game. The learning curve is too shallow, though, it get's boring before challenging. Graphics is cool.
I noticed that if you try to shortcut the game doesn't allow this to do (in theory it should allow you to trigger a white dot close to a yellow, even if you're supposed to go a different, longer route).

The Crunch by HeyChinaski 2015-12-18T00:56:00

Nice game mechanics; fun to play, and cool combination of the themes.

DESEEDER by Zanzlanz 2015-12-17T00:21:00

Wow.
One of the sickest game I've played on Ludum Dare yet. The diagonal pixel idea is freaking me out! Nostalgia...

But the best thing is the music. Completely unbelievable you did that during the compo! It's actually so good, I have it running in endless loop in the background ATM... Yes, it's repetitive after a while, but I also like Underworld and Crystal Method ;-)

Balloon Cat by TheFudster 2015-12-18T00:04:00

Love the art design.

However, I have too little control over the balloon for my taste.

Hyperspace by dekart 2015-12-22T00:43:00

Nice little game, fits the theme perfectly. Got to level 8.

Pete and the Beanstalk by SeriousCreeper 2015-12-15T03:33:00

Really cool game.
I like the music BTW, it fits perfectly, even though it hasn't been part of the jam...

I really wonder whether the beanstalk is growing algorithmically, or the positions are rather fixed.

Sanctuary Station by Joror 2016-01-05T01:50:00

Very nice and invoative game design! I also love the visuals.
The pods move too slowly, though (too much momentum), and there could be more variety.

Snake Scape by mockthebear 2016-01-04T21:11:00

Nice game. Wanted to see the easter egg, but I don't know how many more levels there were...

Mystic Temple by Tipyx 2016-01-05T00:31:00

Awesome pixel graphics! I bit too hard for me, but yeah.

Arc by ChuiGum 2015-12-15T03:51:00

Cool, fresh idea, driving music (would be nothing without), simple, but effective graphics.
Only downside is it's only very loosely based on the theme. Doesn't matter too much.
And I find it pretty har^B^B^Bchallenging. :-)

Growees by NickZangus 2016-01-05T00:09:00

Standard puzzle, polished, with amazing graphics and well selected music. Doesn't really fit the theme, though.

Two Jump by BloodJohn 2015-12-14T05:58:00

Only one level? Sigh.
Nice graphics, though

Longbeard by Joe Williamson 2016-01-05T01:56:00

OMG. Fantastic music and art! And the level is actually really fun. It took a while until I understood what to do with the beard, but then it was hilarious.

CICP : the Center for Interplanetary Pest Control by Robber 2016-01-04T21:22:00

Way cool voxel graphics at start, the rest is also pretty polished.

S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L. by rnlf 2016-01-04T22:23:00

The Web version works pretty well - didn't notice any glitches. Firefox on Win7/64.
All in all this is an awesome game. Superb graphics with see-through effects, great sound, and I really really love the BIOS sequences and the black humor!

One of the best games of this year's LD! I'm glad I finally tested it...

Tile Risers by et1337 2015-12-15T04:20:00

Nice graphics, neat idea, very innovative. Didn't see other players this time.

I'm missing a real win condition, though, and it's unclear so far whether there is any real challenge, or it's always possible to continue...

Cipolletti by psychonull 2015-12-29T18:46:00

Nice graphics, and cool idea for controlling the players and shooting direction!

Tokyo Wars by Valandre 2016-01-05T02:06:00

Cool graphics, though it sometimes lags quite a bit in Firefox. I was missing a kind of radar, it took ages until I found that last opponent. Also, think of capturing the mouse, I constantly lost focus.

Vine Climber by careless 2016-01-04T21:28:00

I really like the music, and the overall apparence.
I don't like collision detection and general movement too much, though, it feels unpolished.
Interesting idea to use twitter for accounts...

BOOST by Tuism 2015-12-22T01:10:00

Cool game, nice graphics, awesome tune.
The game looks totally fair, I just can't get the controls working like I would like them :-P
Totally my fault.

OTOH as sydan noted pressing both keys together from the start clears the level immediately. So a little finetuning is still needed ;-)

Edo Arena by PowerSpark 2015-12-18T00:13:00

Nice graphics, and 3D is always challenging.
Sometimes a ninja drops on top of your head, and you have almost no possibility to avoid them.

Well done!

SEED by sputnik 2015-12-18T00:36:00

Cool game mechanics, and awesome art design! I really like the hero :-)

Eda by alpha_rats 2016-01-05T00:13:00

Very interesting experiment, very zen-like. Didn't really catch me, though, guess the growing didn't feel naturally enough for me.

Panball by gillenew 2016-01-05T00:38:00

Nice graphics, awesome tune, but I don't know what I have to hit already in level 2 :-/

No Space For Cows by concalf 2015-12-17T00:33:00

Awesome, I love the graphics and the theme! Cool hero :-)

Droplet by madcoil 2015-12-22T01:48:00

Wow. Very relaxing mood, great graphics with bump mapping etc., nice sound.
The game itself is unfortunately pretty unfair, almost no chance to react. A little finetuning could do wonders here, so you're not far from a really nice experience.

The Winter by sydan 2015-12-22T00:34:00

Awesome game art, interesting gameplay. I'm not completely sure, however, I understood every aspect of it...

Thousand Blades by [email protected] 2015-12-14T04:24:00

Web Link does not work - goes to Source page :-/

Wargraph by kirilllosev 2015-12-17T00:49:00

Weird controls. You're right, it takes some time, but then it actually works nice. The gameplay feels really great, it doesn't seem that easy to beat the game, but possible.
Graphics is minimalistic, but too high contrast for my taste. Sound effects are good, but you already know that the game would benefit greatly from some driving music :-)

Torque by pianoman373 2015-12-22T00:47:00

Cool graphics, puzzles with a lot of potential. Just way too few, unfortunately. Would love to see the game with a full set of levels.

Santa's Little Grower by Erlend Aakre 2016-01-05T00:25:00

Wow, scary!
Very dense athmosphere, though it took a while until I found the logs (and even the seed, silly me). The theme only fits loosly, though.

Disphere by TerraCottaFrog 2015-12-14T03:44:00

Web Link was working for me...

Hello Darkness by jcmonkey 2016-01-04T20:42:00

Great mood, sound creates a lot of tension!
It would be nice if the sound helped you understand your suroundings, e.g. monster sounds would get louder if they approach you.

Accretion Disc by tgrehawi 2015-12-22T01:40:00

Very cool graphics, and a nice idea. Like!

Birds of Borg by emmes 2015-12-14T18:02:00

Thanks for all the great feedback :-)

@dekart: regarding your points (thoughts greatly appreciated!):
* The many obstacles are actually by intention - I tried with less, birds flock too much then so it's getting difficult to kill any at all without being killed oneself
* For the controls I could add a splash screen on "Ready/Set/Go" on first time invocation - already wanted to do that, but time didn't permit
* Yes, background music would be awesome. Didn't have time, didn't check the tools, etc. pp. There's a hum in the background, repeating every 3 seconds, but maybe its volume is too low.

Birds of Borg by emmes 2015-12-16T02:51:00

Thanks for all the positive feedback :-)
Will check your games in the coming days, too!

@Trasevol_Dog: Hey, good idea! Hand-designed levels would be a definite plus.
The screen is actually procedurally generated, but only by very simple means. I had more ideas, but again, it was lack of time for implementing these...
@Jupiter_Hadley: Great, good to see that :-)

Birds of Borg by emmes 2015-12-17T01:07:00

@dlowe: Yes, you're right, it feels this way.
@mockthebear: I plan to, but life is pretty tight with time slots ATM. I will post updates if I do.

Actually, the way the game was originally planed (and not executed due to time restrictions) would have felt less luck-based. I guess.

Birds of Borg by emmes 2015-12-18T01:04:00

@timeshapers: can't do standard boids flocking, because the birds all fly in the same direction...
There is a (rather sophisticated) flocking algorithm in place, I just didn't ramp it up too much, you should basically do the flocking yourself by running some birds into walls and letting the birds further away close up :-)
Unfortunately, the AI isn't that... smart yet. All AIs should actually team up against you, but it doesn't always work that way...

And yes, it's really a shame that everybody tries the game at different times, so you can't find somebody to play with ;-)
I'll probably update the server to show an estimated number of players looking at the landing page, so you can estimate whether there's a chance that someone will play a multiplayer game with you...

Birds of Borg by emmes 2015-12-21T09:11:00

I updated the server to notify visitors about potential multiplayer games in order to increase their possibility; as the game hasn't changed at all, I consider this to be within the rules.
I also added a Readme and a License to the source distribution.

S - Court by DrFallos 2016-01-04T20:58:00

Pretty cool, excellent pixel art and cool sound effects.

Sky 1513 by vedmich 2016-01-05T00:54:00

I really like the graphics and mood, but I also don't understand when a tile does what. I even didn't have a barrier at all after a while, still, some tiles grew the island, others destroyed tiles even though tiles of same color where nearby. Weird.

Tile Breaker Revolution by lXxGarrisonxXl 2015-12-22T00:27:00

Nice idea, but I can't really get the controls. Nice tune, reasonable graphics, but with a lot of aliasing that hurts the eyes (at least the web version).

Eggstreme Rolling by HardlyDifficult 2016-01-04T21:16:00

Nice endless runner, cool music!
I didn't get the explanation for all extras, but most worked out.

Melissa - A Game of Choice by Imagos Softworks 2016-01-05T01:09:00

Hm.
This is the most difficult "game" for me to vote on.
On the one hand, it's an extremely interesting experiment, it has good production value, acting and filing was well done, and it delivers its weirdness.
On the other hand, this isn't a game. It's NOT about choice, because there is none (it's linear). The effects are way over the top, at one point I had to laugh out loud because of the massive amount of gore.
And I didn't "play" to the end, because the theme just bore me. There's nothing going on except there's a guy beaten to piecese because of no reason. Which is actually part of the possitive side (interesting experiment).

Overall, thank you very VERY much for trying something completely different. Giving you maximum innovation and high overall points. Even if - in the end - it didn't work out for me game wise.

Shape Caster by sraboy 2015-12-14T05:11:00

Please provide the game hosted somewhere - that's the point for Web games, so you don't have to install them...
More people will rate your game that way!
Anyway, thanks for your entry!

FloppySnake by zguerrero 2015-12-18T00:53:00

Awesome graphics, somehow I'm really bad in picking up things, and I don't understand the difference between the differently sized blobs.
Also i think the game would greatly benefit from some sound

Feed Me by snowshovelboy 2015-12-14T04:06:00

Pretty fun :-)
Unfortunately, you can score arbitrary points if you just keep pressing A+D, and let the bugs fly into your mouth ;-)

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Shall they up? by LeReveur 2017-12-11T22:42:01Z

Nice! One additional possibility for a bullet hell! I like the idea that you actually change the attack waves by your weapon choice. Good job with the own engine. Some sound effects would be helpful, though.

Orbits by tuism 2018-08-13T18:34:47Z

Wow. that is super smooth, great artwork, great sound, great gameplay! Very innovative, and despite being innovative it is super fun! What a great entry!

I wonder whether the physics are correct according to Newton's law, or whether they have been bent a little to make up for better gameplay; guess I have to look at the source code

Oversize Load by quadtree 2017-12-23T15:03:35Z

Really cool game, one of the best physics based I played in this Ludum Dare! The music and sound effects are good, too. Thanks for keeping the high scores! I wonder how some of the scores have been achieved... The theme is also matched very well!

The graphics could be a bit more detailed, but that is nitpicking on a high level.

Boat&Friends by averagebrownie 2017-12-05T20:10:00Z

Very cool mechanics, it's a rare gem getting a game design like this! Graphics is reasonable, and it's really surprisingly difficult to get many boxes to the shore. I didn't manage more than 25. And that's only because I was constantly fishing ;-)))

Spacelitch by Flaterectomy 2017-12-05T19:51:53Z

Fascinating! You had the same idea as we had, about the player's own bullets being his biggest enemy... Though by level design, the player notices this quite a bit earlier than it does in our game :-/

Very nice oldschool graphics, great chiptune! Good difficulty, though I'm not that good any more...

All By Yourself by kothead 2017-12-05T19:21:05Z

Pretty fun game, though IMO it doesn't fit the theme too well (more is easier here). Nice pixel graphics

Murder Milk by malero 2017-12-11T22:58:29Z

Awesome style, great graphics and sound effects, and though simple a lot of fun to play! Though the basic slash is probably too powerful, so you don't have to experiment too much. It's getting pretty hectic after 4500 points ;-)

Zombeer by justinooncx 2017-12-23T16:11:54Z

Awesome funny game. When I see those other highscores, I just know how bad I'm at it X-D

Sometimes I was surrounded by zombies, and they just wouldn't die, so I died pretty soon afterwards. Given that others managed much better I assume this is my personal fault. But I'd love to see zombies dissolve after they reduced your health. OTOH maybe this ruins gameplay...

I like the visual effects, though they don't disturb gameplay as much as they probably should ;-)

The Adequate Shepherd by blubberquark 2017-12-11T22:32:56Z

Nice idea, neat graphics, but the gameplay is too slow for me. But maybe I'm just too impatient, I could never heard sheep in real life as well 8->

Ionising by Jajo 2017-12-05T19:42:47Z

Nice game! If you can fix jumping (and shooting, which bugs from time to time as well) it would be greatly appreciated, as this can be quite nerve wrecking...

But the quick restart time fixes a lot of these issues ;-)

Cat Clicker by Mr.MadCat 2017-12-05T19:07:08Z

Very cool music, and I love the setting (meow). It's basically a micromanagement game, so gameplay isn't very deep, but actually fun, and the scrolling is unnecessary (a single page would suffice). I never got any black ribbon cats until the end. Luck?

Squirrel Puncher 4000! by valkling-friend-of-all-things 2017-12-05T02:45:00Z

Pretty awesome music, indeed. I'm also not sure how to actually deal with the bullets shot at me...

Chuckles, the Word Juggler by SecretPocketCat 2017-12-11T22:16:23Z

Nice music and implementation! Does work pretty well, until you mistype something, and at least for me it happens that I want to retry, and retry, and *bang*. Game over ;-) So for me it's more a psychological difficulty than a typing difficulty :-P

Diet Time by GerardB 2017-12-05T19:58:29Z

Cool interpretation, nice graphics, great tune. A very nice and fun quick game. I don't even want to know how fast the food flies past 60...

Cute invaders by sgadrat 2017-12-08T18:15:29Z

Nice game, or rather experiment! It fits the theme perfectly, and though you can't do much and there's no explicit goal, it's haunting seeing you chickens die :-/

Amitosis by Pixel Maniacs 2017-12-23T16:19:12Z

I played and loved the game already during Ludum Dare (we developed our game in the rooms of Pixel Maniacs as a separate team, thanks again Ben for the invitation ) - it was a different experience back than, without the final assets...

Congrats to you and your team, this is an amazing job - it also shows that you know how to polish a game. The assets are plain awesome! And it's definitely one of the most innovative games I've played for this LD's theme!

Debt Crisis by Invixel 2017-12-23T14:49:21Z

Hmmm. Nice idea, and indeed stressful. Cool music. Nice theme as well, I like the "suspicious looking fungi" ;-)

A bit of feedback when the entered amount is not correct would be helpful (e.g. flash the entered number red), and use of the 'o' key is cumbersome - enter would be my natural choice.

But definitely a nice job!

Bits by GeroX 2017-12-23T15:22:40Z

Cool idea, the different variants of jobs you have to do are nerve wrecking :D

I don't really understand the timer, it seems to go multiple times, and the amount of bits you have to collect goes up and up. I don't think there's a different present than a lava lamp ;-)

I think it doesn't really match the theme, but that doesn't matter too much.

Congrats on a great first game!

Spin Attack by ditzel 2017-12-23T16:00:57Z

Nice mood, graphics, music, physics. The controls are a bit sluggish.

I like this first levels being just like a tutorial, I don't like so much the fact that you don't really know how the level is constructed - the field of view is a little small.

All in all a very nice puzzle game. Presentation is also very polished.

CATSPLOSION by cfehunter 2017-12-05T20:21:47Z

Awesome graphics and music, the best so far! I can't get the calming done, though, I loose all the time :-/

Yeah, cuteness overload!

Keep It Simple Stupid Bang Bang by mshopf 2017-12-05T20:25:13Z

Thanks for the comments

Yeah, wanted to add effects, shake, hazards, and even more waves (we have some great ideas how to make it even more difficult ), but of course we ran out of time...

Keep It Simple Stupid Bang Bang by mshopf 2017-12-11T23:04:31Z

@roy87: currently we're not on indiexpo. The game will be continuously hosted on our web site, though.

@flaterectomy: yes, it's top-down vs side, but in the heat of 72h you sometimes mess that up ;-) - seriously, the boss should have behaved a little differently, but we ran out of time. It's true that it's scaled, but we didn't have time to consider the exact size of enemies beforehand, so we told our artist to make something rather too large than too small ;-)

Thanks for all the feedback, folks!

Running With Scissors by Daze 2017-12-23T15:46:39Z

Absolutely enjoyable game. It gets really hard in the 4th level. Very nice art, great gameplay! I also love the setting.

The only critics I have is that often I don't know where my seat actually is - I try getting to it, and take a detour, which take too much time (and space) to be able to win. So sometimes it's pure luck whether I'm going in the right corridor or direction. If you could point to the general direction of my seat (e.g. an arrow at the edge of the screen) when the flashing table is not visible, that would be awesome.

Also, please blink the next girl at the beginning, so you have a visual clue where to find the next character - sometimes it takes a few seconds until you recognize which girl is the next. But as the timer isn't counting yet, this is only a minor nuisance.

All in all this just very minor nitpicking, great game! One of the most fun games I played in this Ludum Dare!

Yellow Beans by Jecr 2017-12-23T15:13:02Z

Nice pixel graphics look, and the great music adds to the mood.

The controls are hard to remember correctly, that has been stated by several reviewers, and I agree. Of course because of the single fight the theme isn't anywhere to be found. The fighting method is actually quite interesting, though difficult.

All in all it's a bit problematic for this Ludum Dare, but the mood is fantastic, and I'd love to see a more detailed and revised version of this game. Keep on working, this definitely has potential!

Squares & Hexes by Tom Robson 2017-12-05T19:33:29Z

Pretty basic, but consistent graphics, I like it! The music is getting on my nerves after some time, but hey - we don't have any music at all in our game ;-) I really don't understand how the speed is regulated, the last level is only manageable when the player is fast enough - is this changing per death?

Squire by mambojambo 2017-12-05T20:39:57Z

Very cool game design, artful graphics and skilled music and sound effects! I don't think it fits the LD theme too well, but what the heck. It's fun, though stressful - and it seems to me that you have to guess in advance what will be needed next - otherwise the fighter dies to quickly when he runs out of sword...

Having to explicitly select the weapon is nuisance, just pressing the short keys 1-6 should be enough - I don't know how often I pressed 6 for Taco and ran away, just to find out that I had not selected it...

Certainly one of the highlights of this year's LD!

LD42 — Running out of space

CRAMMM: Totally Accurate Studying Simulator by tuism 2018-08-13T18:09:07Z

Great graphics, awesome music and sound effect. I love the basic idea, it's hilarious

Trumpology is a bit hard for me as non-native speaker, at least doing it by intuition with the words written sideways and over the top, but hey! The humor is perfectly fitting!

Thanks, you made my day!

Dark Forest by Tero Pulkkinen 2018-08-13T16:36:53Z

Hm, so this is 'only' a scene, not a game?!? Seems to me like it. Good to hear that it actually works in VR, it's cool that HTML5 is working with VR now...

Mini Micro by HuvaaKoodia 2018-08-13T14:41:18Z

Best game I played so far - don't know why nobody else noticed it upto now  The mood is awesome, it's mostly because of the background "music" - err, sound. The game mechanics work well, and the puzzles are challenging. I think this has a lot of potential, when you add more elements and especially levels.

Great job!!!

Outrunning Space! by drludos 2018-08-13T14:45:39Z

This is a one-of-a-type. Never seen anything similar, extremely original.

Of course, there is only oh-so-little you can do with this concept. But kudos to the idea! Also, the AscII art works astonishingly well.

Shrinking Panes by Pennycook 2018-08-16T14:13:18Z

Hm, apparently I cannot find the story, I die to fast. Within the shrinking borders I don't know how to avoid the cube...

Edit: ok, I understand now that you can start to fire only after the borders start shrinking. Makes sense now :)

Vampyre by ildfuglen 2018-08-13T17:20:00Z

Great mood, superb audio, nice graphics. And the gameplay actually works! Having more different types of opponents would improve replayability. All in all a fun and very polished project!

HexaGlitcher by JOrbits 2018-08-15T16:45:54Z

Extremely fascinating game mechanics! Driving music that keeps your blood pumping, fitting sound effects and graphics. I love the idea of having a fast firing rate at the beginning that starts to slow down after a while.

Having a highscore would have been nice.

For the HTML5 version: Sometimes the input gets stuck, and I have to repress the same key that started the movement - typically that moment gets you killed, and not by own fault, but by a bug in the game mechanics. That is of course suboptimal.

Other than that so far the most driving game for me on this LD. Would be awesome if you fix this little issue

LEO by Bracula 2018-08-15T16:34:26Z

Interesting, this is the second game on this theme I played - the other one is [Kessler Syndrome](/events/ludum-dare/42/kessler-syndrome).

Your game has a more artistic touch (graphics, the auto-created music, style), while Kessler Syndrome is a bit further gameplay-wise.

I like the idea of space debris, however, it should continue to move along the same path like it does in real life. That way it is handled you easily loose at least a complete orbit. Also I like the zen-like approach, well done.

Grey Goo by Willbl3pic 2018-08-13T16:29:17Z

Hm. As already mentioned, too much inertia when turning, it feels like trying your luck for getting the right turn in the labyrinth, and rendering could be improved (it's sort-of slow, I guess there is no effective line-of-sight culling, i.e. portal rendering or the like.

Also, having an "replay" option other than F5 would be neat.

I like the gray goo effect, neatly done!

Gravity Well by Arch 2018-08-13T13:47:44Z

Wow, very *very* nice, addictive game. The theme isn't 100% hit, but I don't care. Audio and graphics fit well, even if not self-created.

Game mechanics works well, though I'd love to have an better way to select replay (I often accidentally pressed replay).

Cube Disposer by sh1rogane 2018-08-16T13:57:28Z

Nice idea. Sometimes, I shot cubes but didn't hit them despite being pretty sure that I aimed right; the game seems to be pretty picky about the exact angle. And after I was killed, I clicked on 'restart' by accident (still shooting), thus I don't know my score. A short(!) cooldown would be helpful here. I like the animation of the cubes being crushed

The Decline by paulstraw 2018-08-13T15:39:10Z

I suck at this type of game :-(((

Very polished entry, though it's really a standard mechanics one. Add some sound and a bit simpler start, and I could easily see this burning on phones.

Kessler Syndrome by SlimothyJ 2018-08-13T13:22:50Z

Very humoresque entry, I love it! Game mechanics work well, it's difficult to achieve the exact orbit as before, thus satellites will eventually catch up and collide; but that's part of the game

Overgrowth by gagouman 2018-08-13T02:33:57Z

Wow, pretty complex game for a game jam! It seems like it is actually balanced, which I consider difficult in that short amount of time... Also includes music for the mood, and the tutorial is in-game! Great job!

Stop Climate Change! by ditzel 2018-08-15T15:47:57Z

Wow, didn't think this game could actually be fun - but it is! Congrats! The AI of the pinguins is superb, they are really annoying and most times feel pretty natural. It was actually difficult to win... Graphics and animation are nice and on-spot. IMO the music doesn't fit the setting that well, but it can also be seen as a contra point (guess it was planned that way). Anyways, having music is top, and it sounds nice.

Having a message as well gives extra points. One of the top entries this Ludum Dare.

High Factory by Jima 2018-08-14T11:37:16Z

Very nice working simulation, great graphics, I love it! Unfortunately, I didn't read the challenge until after I closed the program, so no luck with additional screenshots ;-)

Behavior of the conveyor belts is sometimes unintuitive, you cannot position one rotated by 90 degrees next to a producer, but you can next to another conveyor belt. That, of course, makes the positioning harder, so it can be considered a game challenge.

We Need Space! by BigJigglyProductions__ 2018-08-14T11:33:16Z

Hm. I like the procedural generation, but I don't get warm with the game. The user interface often doesn't react to clicks, the game mechanics are unclear to me, and I couldn't find the challenge. It's unclear what happens when terraforming, it's unclear what happens when a population limit is reached, and what the options will do.

Ah, I just read that the clicks were due to an offset - that makes sense!

Quantum Abyss by Delightfullymad 2018-08-13T21:32:49Z

Overall I don't understand the split into three categories, by focusing on only one the game was trivial to beat, with lots of funding to spare. I'm also missing some progress bars that show me how far my research has already gone.

The graphics is neat, and I especially like the depiction of the scientists - reminds me of Portal, somehow...

Space Billiards by mshopf 2018-08-13T02:25:31Z

Thanks for the kind words! I also published a post mortem now, in case you're interested.

Space Billiards by mshopf 2018-08-13T17:05:21Z

@gagouman, @guilhermoni, @runner-alien, @sloyd: Thanks for your kind comments!

@tuism: Thanks for the detailed analysis; I'll try to cover, and I will definitely try your game. Also please note that I didn't have enough time for fine tuning as I wanted, because I mostly had to work about the game mechanics and around physics bugs. For the jam, I could have done more, but didn't have the time to continue today, so I wrapped up early.

* Yes, initial learning curve is deadly. I thought about adding waves and messages for tutorial-like early missions, that was skipped due to time constraints. It would have been similar to the waves in my/our [LD40 entry](/events/ludum-dare/40/keep-it-simple-stupid-bang-bang) * I found the idea to "let go" when you release the mouse button to be the most understandable; apparently millage may vary here. That would have been something for playtesting. * Calculating the trajectory lines is computational heavy; I had to create adaptive time sampling in order to work this out, and it's just using Euler integration, which isn't stable. So if your planet moves a tiny little bit, differences at a later point in time can explode. This isn't kerbal space program, they cheat and have orbital mechanics where only the closest mass has an effect on your body, in my programm everything influences everything :grimacing: I also thought about different colors, then thought this would add to the overall (wanted) chaos, and lost track of that idea in the end. You're right, that would help quite a bit. * *Sigh*. It was supposed to be a massively singleplayer game, with other planets representing other players at previous runs, and they were supposed to fill up space quickly. Unfortunately, mechanics are too chaotic for this to happen...

Thanks again for the insight!

Space Billiards by mshopf 2018-08-14T11:55:42Z

@akemala, @chocolat-endive: Thanks! The speeches were actually a last minute addition; I thought "there's something missing for a hitchhiker game"...

@ktur: absolutely! I wanted to add this, but time... Maybe I'll add it later on, I consider this to be within the rules, as I don't change the game itself.

@cranestyle: You're absolutely right! As mentioned earlier, I wanted to add waves, but got lost with game mechanics... Because we're playing billiard with almost no way to remove stuff from the "table", space should clutter up fast; unfortunately, it doesn't work like this, it still feels not to closed up despite being utterly uncontrollable after some time

@oneiros, @neuralcoder, @alobker: Thanks, I wanted to have some "semi-controlled chaos". Seems it actually worked out :joy:

doof by JonahSenzel 2018-08-13T02:54:19Z

Funny, fuzzy, interesting take on the theme! I love the art style, music is great, extremely well executed!

Pizza Defender by Sloyd 2018-08-13T18:00:00Z

Very nice artwork and animation, I love those zombie tomatoes  The bites have been modeled very nicely, it really looks like a partially eaten pizza. hmmmm. :stuck_out_tongue:

The game itself misses some mechanics, why you would actually want to run on the pizza - ATM you can stay in the middle and just shoot the opponents, without moving.

Sound would have been great, but hey, you manage what you manage. You should have opted out in that category, though.

Thanks for keeping the original version around, though in this case I absolutely agree that a bug fix is perfectly within the rules. The rules are vague, because life is vague, and bugs as well

BadPhone by Mormert 2018-08-13T16:16:22Z

This is pretty hilarious! Really stressful, and while game mechanics are trivial, including a virtual user interface is an fantastic idea. Graphics is done extremely well, sounds are just... funny!

Hiding Spot by toboggan 2018-08-13T16:48:49Z

I'm probably too stupid, I can't even make it past level 2... Seems I'm missing something essential.

The game is very polished, I like the sokobanesque approach. Sound is great, voxel style graphics good.

Collapsing Mines of LUMDOOM by Gus the Shark 2018-08-15T15:35:49Z

This is one awsome game! The music is superb and adds to the mood, the graphics is great, gameplay just works, and even the levels are pretty well designed (if damn hard after a while).

I think I noticed a little stutter when moving the character, it seems to stop for a split second in between moves - it could also be the animation. And the slimes kill you basically instantaneously, when you walk onto a quad they are just about to enter - this should happen probably only after 50% of the animation is done, that probably feels more natural.

Note that this is nitpicking on an extremely high level!

Dusk Spirits by Tinamil 2018-08-13T02:47:44Z

Great music, and nice animations, I really laughed at the end! Fighting is just bashing at the moment, but the principle ideas are there. For me the boss didn't do anything but homing in on me, I wasn't able to hit+run. Being invincible actually helped

Trashy Universe by BrownRiceStudio 2018-08-15T15:56:57Z

136. Best score with only moving a slight bit to avoid a situation, where I couldn't shoot one robot, because an iced robot was in the way.

Having music is nice, though it gets on your nerves after some time  - I don't have real music in my game, so I won't complain. Sound effects are pretty ok from my point of view. Graphics is a bit *too* blocky for my taste. Great take on the theme, and the game is working!

Hello Ground by Kaiomoi 2018-08-16T13:49:15Z

@sadsmile: couldn't have said it better.

Great to see other games with references to the Hitchhiker's Guide. Awesome graphics, and the music and sound helps the mood. I find gameplay a bit too stressful to actually plan my moves, I had to be as fast as possible to avoid the whale.

Also, I noticed that placement of tiles oft didn't accept my mouse position, and I lost tiles due to that. It seems you have to have the tile pretty exactly aligned to have it planted. I personally would like to have to position of the mouse pointer when you release the mouse button considered.

Compactory by VivianMochi 2018-08-13T15:58:37Z

Very interesting idea, and it works pretty well! It's not super easy to grasp at first, but later you understand. And it's super difficult to master. I didn't manage to create a factory with all sides filled with conveyor belts...

Plenty Of Junk by Verbante 2018-08-13T16:05:15Z

Interesting! Standard gameplay, but an astonishing approach to graphics for the main character. Also, thanks for the insight about the game mechanics, looks like a simple system that has a complex behavior, I like that

Climb by Albin 2018-08-13T03:00:09Z

Cute art, gameplay is working well. It is a bit unfair at times, but that's ok. I think your title would benefit a lot from some sound effects and or music. I love the mood the main character is creating!

Adventures of Spacepup! by FlyingKiwi 2018-08-13T16:41:55Z

Interesting idea. Sometimes the game would present me with a "game over", even I was nowhere near the "black hole" or the edge of the screen. Also please mention that you ought to collect your goodies for points. Sound would be really helpful, I fully agree here.

Dementia by Kjetil 2018-08-16T15:17:06Z

Wow. What a piece of art.

Congratulations, this is about the deepest story I've ever seen in an LD entry. Graphics are stunning, and animation style is utter unique. Music is also fitting and very moving.

Even though this is a walking simulator with not a lot of mechanics I would consider this one of my all time favorites, and easily the best game I've played this LD. And there were other great ones!

Armageddon by Swess 2018-08-13T16:23:50Z

Very hard, crushing mood, nice graphics and excellent music + sound!

Except for the difficulty and the (small) menu screen responsiveness it's very polished. I wonder how long one can actually keep the fire lying low... It get's out of hands extremely fast, and as it spreads the faster the more space it occupies, there is some point of no return when you cannot "win" any more.

Trial by Fire by CorgiRam 2018-08-14T11:40:38Z

Nice first jam! Great to get a working game together in the end :joy:

The mouse right click doesn't seem to work in the browser, thus I could clear fires. Also, I think fire should hurt the player when getting to close, so you can't run to fast without burning yourself.

Space Runner by Guilhermoni 2018-08-13T17:35:17Z

Nice graphics, great mood.

I also find the controls counter-intuitive; and it seems, I have to press space, w, a, s at the beginning to be able to continue, otherwise the rocket continues to fly without any opponents or draining oxygen or the like. Didn't understand I have to fly in the direction of my antenna to find a planet, but I find this concept of in-game UI very cool.

IMO the game is extremely difficult, especially close to a planet.

RunnINN out of space by gamedevkng 2018-08-13T13:13:45Z

Interesting game idea. I like the "tutorial" on the floor, drag and drop mechanics works well, neat simple graphics. I'd love some sound in the game! I guess your take on the jam version with more RPG stats is probably the right direction!

I also experienced the GUI being on top of the fight explanations (on a high resolution screen), but it didn't hinder me to fight.

Ransack by Stillnotsure 2018-08-13T15:32:27Z

Cool game - it's a bit frustrating because you have to watch so many things at the same time, but hey, we asked for it. Sound is awesome, graphics neat. I couldn't get a big sword into my inventory, dunno what happened there...

One of the best entries I played so far!

CLAUSTROPHOBOI by turbo.torbo 2018-08-13T18:48:40Z

Very interesting take on the theme. Art style is nice, but have several issues with the gameplay. 3D collision detection seems to be off, I often got stuck behind an obstacle, that I was obviously far enough away. Random obstacle generation is great, but several times I got stuck after pretty unfair distribution of the obstacles - once even right after the beginning, before I shot my first bullet.

Still, this is something to think about. Not to be killed but rather duplicated when hit by a bullet... interesting stuff...

Shipping Error by runner_alien 2018-08-13T17:46:24Z

Nice tetris-ish realtime puzzle. Interesting take on the way you clear tiles again. Nice graphics, the third dimension makes it more difficult to make out the board, which is anticipated, and working. Sound is ok, but a bit background music/sound would improve the mood.

Running out of Space by tom7 2018-08-13T03:09:28Z

Funny idea, to have an alien workset to figure out. However, I couldn't really finish it - I think I understand what I should do, but I didn't manage to. Maybe thus I don't understand how this is related to the theme. I really like the styling and animations.

Mother Ship by Whismirk 2018-08-13T15:22:13Z

Nice game; the user interface could need some improvement (sometimes menus stay open when they shouldn't, by default there are 0 people selected for transfer though the gauge is at the right hand side), and the graphics is game-jam-like :-]

I like the effect of the black hole, it's cheap but working well. I didn't manage to save many, but took a while for me to understand that expanding the arc is the most crucial thing.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Shufflefish by Joel Davis 2018-04-24T03:49:35Z

I don't see the theme very prominent here. That said, it's a very solid game, the graphics and music is great and pushes the mood. I love the 3D pond, even if it does nothing to the game itself.

A deck builder would of course improve the game, but that's a huge pile of work.

Again, I have to say card based games are really trendy on this LD

Deck Shooter by Jimbly 2018-04-23T23:59:10Z

Awesome game, great execution, neat graphics! I love the highscore, and the fact that you allow updating your name *after* you actually played the game - I totally forgot to give me a reasonable nickname at first...

This game fits the theme so well it almost hurts :grinning:

Zombie Soccer by JackLeHamster 2018-04-27T20:58:31Z

Fun game, and a **very** good interpretation of the theme IMO.

I like the hand-drawn graphics style, I'm missing some action sounds, though. The ball also sometime kicked past the zombie in front of me, and I died.

BTW - I consider using a game *engine* produced in the past as totally compliant to the compo rules. Thumbs up for submitting as jam to be on the safe side, though!

Remote Bot by Yngvarr 2018-04-24T04:05:53Z

Holy crap, I never thought I could hate ssh... :sob:

Great job, the ASCII-artish graphics is lovely, the sound fits, awesome mood.

RTHM by fashionbatman 2018-04-30T13:08:56Z

Very funny, the graphics are hilarious

The music is a bit to arythmic for me to succeed, but that's probably just me. Very nice twist on the the theme!

PE@CE by bwalter 2018-05-02T22:48:32Z

Very well working ASCII art, good sound effects. And you really did quite a number of levels, nice!

Rythm is Lava by egordorichev 2018-05-02T22:59:49Z

Very(!) interesting game, cool genre mix. I, personally dislike the lava, because it adds quite some stress to that more logic puzzle style of the game, but that's personal taste.

Graphics is nice, audio fitting. I'm fascinated how many different puzzle styles you managed to include, and the number of levels you were able to create...

InvadTris by csanyk 2018-05-15T19:46:44Z

This is probably the most innovative game I played during this LD. All in all I think the game was too easy. I find the Tetris part way more difficult than the Space Invaders - did you think about having bullets continue during the Tetris play (and being able to move the player at the same time with different keys)? Also bullets should probably be able to shoot down the "shield" you get by removing lines.

Sometimes I found that a bullet hit me, even though I was behind a whole set of shield blocks - I don't know what happened here.

Sound is nice, graphics fits. Good addaption of the theme. Great job so far!

InvadTris by csanyk 2018-05-15T20:12:47Z

Ok, so there is more to it with the superweapon than to use it as a shield? Then I probably missed that one... :flushed:

InvadTris by csanyk 2018-05-15T20:16:35Z

Yeah. Reading the instructions actually helps. Rofl.

Stop The Munchies by Sarah 2018-04-24T03:21:30Z

Nice game, great interpretation of the theme. It seems like card-based games are pretty trendy on this LD

The graphics is sweet, but the mood could be improved by having sound effects, and not (mostly) only the music. It also seems that the cookies can be partially diverted by having multiple possible routes, this wasn't clear to me in the beginning. I guess this is part of the design, to make it less difficult to finish?

Dungeon of High School romance by Toulou 2018-04-27T13:47:43Z

Really a funny twist for the genre! I liked playing, though it was almost too easy

Having a bit of sound (e.g. music) would help the mood quite a bit, but creating music during LD is... almost impossible. At least for me, it is.

Unbeheaded monarchs by IEQI 2018-05-13T23:03:29Z

I couldn't play it because it is a windows game; some tips for getting more ratings:

* Export as a Web game - I guess this is the single most important thing! * Include a screen shot in your description; the description itself is already promising (could be a little longer), but having a screenshot helps enormously * Play & Rate & Comment games!!! The more comments you give the more people will try to play your game and comment on your game * Advertise by posting on the main channel; this is probably the most difficult and time consuming job, so be sure to do the first three items first!

Type2Flap by Cedric Fey 2018-04-29T12:46:53Z

Very unique gameplay, very nice graphics. I'm missing sound, and saying "It is very hard." is the understatement of the year... :grimacing:

Sometimes the level generator creates combinations that are impossible (or nigh impossible) to manage. Also, I don't see a level progression, so it's about the same difficulty from the very beginning.

Grid Gunner by SuperTibbles 2018-04-30T16:41:47Z

A very cool and well executed project. I love the way you combined the genres. Graphics and audio are well suited. Easy to learn, it's getting hard damn fast.

I also often accidentally clicked on movement buttons when I wanted to aim, but hey, that just happens.

What I dislike a bit is that the scaling factor for the pixel optics seems to be fixed - I initially couldn't see the whole playing area on my screen, only in full screen or when using browser based resizing. I also find the bullets difficult to differentiate when they overlap, mostly due to the coarse graphics.

Grid Gunner by SuperTibbles 2018-04-30T16:44:47Z

Woha, I just noticed that two of you are only 13! That's unbelievable, if you continue like that you have a great career ahead of you

YOU LEFT ME. by Angela He 2018-04-30T16:56:34Z

Unfortunately, several textures don't load for me (RenderTexture.Create failed: format unsupported - 2.). This could be due to the fact that my machine doesn't support a WebGL 2 context. Because of this I can't check this entry yet, I will do at a later time on my desktop machine.

Axe and Roses by Hippunk 2018-04-29T15:27:47Z

I'm in love with a rock! How hilarious!

Thanks for this unique entry. The text is well written and funny. I also love the music, and the pixel graphics is great too (could have a few more animations, but you already included reasons why there are not any more in the text ;-)

Hanoi - City of Scooters by mshopf 2018-04-23T23:44:05Z

Thanks a lot :)

@jimbly: Yeah, as I'm (partially) working with node.js for a living, it's the easiest part ;-)

@special-bonus: The oncoming traffic is chosen completely random - it will probably better after some more people have played the game. But I also should probably nuke mostly straight paths on the server. You also have some good ideas - some milestones would really be motivating! I also wanted to add a road or a sidetrack, but time ran out in the end...

Hanoi - City of Scooters by mshopf 2018-04-27T13:10:20Z

Thanks for all the positive feedback! Always great to see you enjoying what I created :smile_cat:

@albuquerque: I had tons of ideas to include to the game to make it less monotonous, but it's the same as always: time ran out...

@yngvarr + @lereveur: I didn't have time to tell Randall yet, but I will! And yeah, it's strange to run into oneself while playing

@brillie-phan: Can you tell me your browser (and version) and your OS?

@groggi: It'll take a little time, but eventually I'll try all games of those who helped me improving my game with their comments :kissing_smiling_eyes:

@stark: Ouch :flushed: Indeed, it does - somehow I didn't recognize that. I guess it's something about the font, will try to fix it... Thanks for letting me know!

Hanoi - City of Scooters by mshopf 2018-04-29T13:44:57Z

Thanks again for your comments!

@toulou: your movements are recorded 20 times a second, every 10 seconds the accumulated path is sent to the server. For every opponent a random path is fetched from the server. Data is runlength delta compressed, that's not much but better than nothing. So in theory you can run into yourself if the path 20 seconds ago is randomly selected :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@stark: I wanted to fix the game for firefox today, now I realize it just works :astonished: - I have no idea why it didn't work two days ago...

Hanoi - City of Scooters by mshopf 2018-05-15T18:02:44Z

Thanks to all of you for you encouraging comments!

@Yozamu: I have to admit, the idea about the "Annonymous coward" is not from me - I had seen this elsewhere  I also thought about multiple lives, so you can get a bit further into the challenge, but in the end I just forgot about that

@JackLeHamster: The opponents are former runs of other players. So in the past somebody moved his scooter through the traffic exactly the way the van was now running down the street, right into you

@Blinkenlights: Could you send me a screenshot and the browser version you use?

@gonutz: There is a highscore, but just a single score. I admit, having a highscore list would be better. The sound hasn't been fine-tuned, so there is definitely room for improvement. When you're hit by somthing at the bottom, it's a driver that was on the top edge of the screen and went further up - the screen wraps around. I wasn't so happy about this concept, but the game was impossible to balance otherwise...

'Meme'bumps by Chetan pant 2018-05-03T22:17:26Z

Very nice mood, this is definitely a horror game. I don't see the theme reflected too well, but that's personal opinion. I really love seeing the footprints on the dark screen, and the idea of the flashes on screen.

I would like to see more situations when something (unexpected) happens, maybe even jump scares. Some light suddenly flickering on, and dying as soon as get close, or similar things. That would intensify the mood even more.

Shuffle Climber by miroky 2018-04-29T13:12:35Z

Very polished and styled game. Makes a lot of fun, the game mechanics works well (apart from the occasional random generator hickup that gives you the wrong cards for the very moment :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

Very nice interpretation of the theme, and I absolutely love the graphics and especially sound and music. I'm always amazed at entries in game jams that include music...

I'm not sure whether there is level progression; the game seems to be easier at the beginning than later on in the game, but I'm not entirely sure...

The only thing I dislike a bit is the aspect ratio - this game is truly optimised for phones.

Shuffle Climber by miroky 2018-04-29T13:35:42Z

P.S. I don't know why you opted out for 'humor' - I find the credits hilarious

Tsun Tsun Button Mash by Team Infernus 2018-04-27T21:09:54Z

Ok, so this is a standard cookie clicker game with a twist. Very funny lines from the girl, and very cute hand-drawn graphics, I like it

IMO this doesn't really combine two incompatible genres, even though I understand your argument. Anyway, well done!

ASM Hell by vilix64 2018-04-30T18:24:27Z

Managed primes in 14 lines, after approx. half an hour of playing. I wonder if there's a shorter solution...

Awesome job! Very nice puzzles, good gameplay, even the editor does work. A few possible improvements: * Command line editor could use a history :stuck_out_tongue: * I'm missing a load register direct; this way I always had to use register 6 as a zero to load a constant with e.g. ADD [0] [6] 1 * There is (almost) no chance to detect whether there is a wall in the way of the character; if you had an input register for that you would have the chance to do more puzzles like escape a labyrinth etc. * Putting markers or something similar would also be helpfull

For more ideas see e.g. Carol the Robot

Again, thanks for this little gem, I loved playing it!

Ultimate Hero Simulator by antvelm 2018-04-27T21:30:14Z

Wow, this is way too stressful for me :astonished:

So far the best game I played on this LD. Astonishing graphics, I really like the comic style introduction. Sound kicks ass. The theme is thoroughly matched, I find this very innovative. And I like the subtle humour (tentacles and all).

BIRKANOID by MateCziner 2018-05-02T23:06:55Z

Funny concept, cool mixture of genres. Very polished, great graphics and reasonable sounds.

I guess success is a little based on luck, which kind of cards you get. Well, if you don't get the right ones, you'll just have to use up the cards you have, it should be possible, so I don't think that's a big issue in this case.

I bet that your CATS look good in the dance floor by agar3s 2018-04-24T03:39:07Z

Weird name, I like it. Would improve a lot with real music, but doing that in a game jam... for me would be close to impossible, so I understand it. Graphics is neat, gameplay interesting. I had the last tile in yellow, so I couldn't end the game - the check for valid moves seems not to respect this.

Cruise & Co. by Blinkenlights 2018-04-30T13:24:42Z

FYI - the game requires WebGL 2.0 - the only one I encountered so far, so it doesn't work on my laptop. I'll try to play it on my desktop at home eventually.

Maybe this is only an export option?

The Story of my Life by FireProductions 2018-05-15T19:59:43Z

I really wanted to play this game, however, my browser tells me that WebGL2 is not supported. I guess this is due to the intel graphics I have in my laptop. What a pity.

The Story of my Life by FireProductions 2018-05-15T20:01:54Z

In order to get more votes next time, you probably should include a screenshot in your description, and do quite a bit more promotion. Also, don't forget to vote for other games!

Conquering Magic by Outfoxed 2018-04-29T16:28:58Z

Hm. I wasn't able to win against a single component; seems I'm missing something fundamental from the game design. It almost always seemed that the opponents knew what I was doing and acted accordingly.

Music and sound effects are the strongest points of this entry, graphics is also neat. I didn't understand the theme relation at first, but I did in the end.

Awesome music, very nice graphics style, gameplay works very well, all in all very polished and fun!

I still don't think it fits the theme extremely well, but as you mentioned this is personal interpretation. I find the entry very innovative, haven't seen anything similar.

Very cool idea and implementation. Playing made a lot of fun!

Some points for improvement: * Sound effects would improve immersion * The score counter vanishes the second you die - I don't know my final score, but it was around 300 * The enemies seemed to be too passive - they only try to home on you when they are already pretty close - or is that even just by chance? * A sort of goal would be great - e.g. try to get to the bottom / right / some destination point * The difficulty could slowly increase while getting to that point

Very interesting take on the theme; I love the graphics and the music, however it's a bit to fast for me, and I found the game concept really hard to grasp.

You wrote one can read the signs on the road to get more information, however, I didn't find any signs... maybe I misinterpreted something.

DeadBeat by Grace Woolson 2018-04-24T00:11:58Z

Cool idea. I have some issues with the beat (looks like off-beat for me, or my browser isn't following the playback speed exactly, who knows), but I like the pixel look. Could be a little less course, though ;-)

Elemental Monk by Biterkid 2018-04-29T19:20:11Z

Nice interesting gameplay. I have some difficulties with the order of the elements - just like others had here. However, I don't think this is a problem of the game, rather about the ruleset it is based upon.

Nice graphics, all in all a cool entry.

Bloodsport by _str1pe 2018-04-30T12:30:41Z

All in all one of the most fun games I played in this LD! Also very funny (bottles and roses and explosions). Gameplay itself wasn't actually very demanding, just clicking on the audience like crazy. But thinking about how to balance the points spent made up for this. I never had to tell a bot to pick up a weapon or to go to the ball, and when I tried it it didn't work as intended.

Line'em up by arche-san 2018-05-03T12:03:20Z

Very cool game mechanics, I like the graphics style with the sort-of post-glow effect. Having some more explanation what different types of bullets do would probably good, but all in all the game is already in a pretty neat and polished state!
