I like this one a lot. The art is very cohesive, I particularly like the font choices. I found that I was able to get pretty far by staying in the top right corner for as long as possible, although I would eventually get forced out. My best score was 125 seconds.

piece-ofcheese 2018-08-13 16:03

151 Seconds. Pretty neat game. Could definitely use some more hazards and other things to spice it up, but it's a good framework.

You should have capt the maximum ammount of brothers. I just had 590 of them :D

syrapt0r 2018-08-13 16:12

Really nice game! It can become way too crowded very quickly though ^^ Maybe try to balance the difficulty a bit? Other than that, good work!

soyertek 2018-08-13 16:36

Loved the art and the visuals of the game are just right! The game play tho needs some polishing, at first i played staying right in front where essentially i got stuck and quickly the scene got filled with entities and either it was lag or the combinations of quick sounds, but the game was unplayable. restarted and got some better experiences. with some more tweaks it can be a really good game!

Very interesting take on the theme. Art style is nice, but have several issues with the gameplay. 3D collision detection seems to be off, I often got stuck behind an obstacle, that I was obviously far enough away. Random obstacle generation is great, but several times I got stuck after pretty unfair distribution of the obstacles - once even right after the beginning, before I shot my first bullet.

Still, this is something to think about. Not to be killed but rather duplicated when hit by a bullet... interesting stuff...

That looks brilliant. Sadly, I've only got Linux :(

shockwire 2018-08-14 03:01

Very fun and great art! I like how getting shot doesn't damage you directly but and indirectly lead to your demise. I just feel like the copies grew out of control once only one was created; it probably would have been better if they disappeared after a few seconds so the player doesn't get overwhelmed so quickly.

@piece-ofcheese thanks for your feedback. Jep, hazards and different enemy & obstacle types are definitly a good idea.

turbo-torbo 2018-08-14 11:07

@j0ye jeeesus :D you probably couldnt see anything anymore. did the game still run smoothly tho?

turbo-torbo 2018-08-14 11:11

@soyertek thanks so much for your feedback! ok, thats something I have to look into. Maybe the spawning clones pushed you inside a collider or something. I'll try to reproduce it.

turbo-torbo 2018-08-14 11:13

@mshopf thanks, glad you liked it! It's actually completely 2D, but the issue you have with the collision is something I noticed myself. I have to tweak the placement of the obstacles as well as the collider of the obstacles. Thanks for your feedback!

turbo-torbo 2018-08-14 11:15

@shockwire yeah, the game escalates very quickly. In party because the whole idea was to make it a very short game. But that still could use some balancing tho

swess 2018-08-14 20:25

Sweet game!

Very interesting aesthetic! Really enjoyed giving it a couple of try! Thanks for this gem.

Keep it

Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good

stefan-jovanovic 2018-08-16 22:25

Nice game, graphics are really good, but the game gets really hard. With some improvements it could be very good!

silkworm-sweatshop 2018-08-25 00:20

Those visuals are pretty damn dope. Concept is pretty neat too although I'm not sure what's going on. I'm some kind of cube/duck/camera getting shot at by red octahedrons whose bullets summon my spirit brothers? Hell yeah! All it's missing is a rockin' soundtrack.

eric-kulbiej 2018-09-02 00:23

Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive. As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm. Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well. Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)
