It reminds me of some game I've been playing on PSP a bunch of years ago (I mean the mix survival + cards). Can't remember though; still, it's a concept that works! Good work

Guys, this is by far the best entry I've been able to test. It's really amazing and I would 10/10 buy it if you could continue working on it so that it reaches Steam. Sincerely, I've had so much fun and found the concept so cool, I'm impressed.
If you have some time, I'd really like to get some feedback from you on my own entry, since you seem to have a lot of experience.
Once again, great job
This game was really awesome. I found it a bit easy that we were able to move though. What I would have really loved would be that we only could hit ourselves. I mean, I was way above the score (approximately -12 in a few holes) and then I started trying stuff, and I found it really fun to hit yourself even while still airborne. It made me think about whole new stuff like speedruns and such. Really a ton of possibilities, so great entry there, well done.
Nice concept here. It's interesting to switch between tasks, but the only thing that bothered me was that the platform part wasn't that ergonomic; I don't know why, there was some moments I felt like I could hardly avoid TNT, even without taking care of the office part...
Congratulations though, looks good!
Pretty fun game, nice genre mix, and the audio just killed me haha. Good entry overall!
PS: shiba rules
This game looks quite interesting. At first when I saw the flappy bird base theme I thought "meh please not again" but then I found the game surprisingly entertaining. Good job
It is a cool mix, and I really like the console setup which is more original and justifies the theme better than a "regular platformer". Frustrating sometimes, it's still good to have the stop command to have a second to think
The atmosphere is on point, and the mix you've chosen works really well. I really didn't expect something like this, and I must say I'm impressed. Great job dude
It's really impressive. This is the first LD game that I enjoy that much and that I would truly want to play on Steam with a full version! It's also my first 5 stars rating, and it's well deserved. Congratulations, you've been awesome!
The game looks awesome. The mix is quite interesting, and I'd really like to see it developed further. The graphics weren't the best part (even though they are not that bad) but the fun was really here. I think that's a solid entry, with a lot of innovation!
Really interesting! The mix is unusual and pleasant, but there's one thing I would have liked to see: the pattern length. I mean, when you start going on your path, you can't change it, so you have to start at the right time and... For the first levels it is kinda easy, but I imagine that when it gets harder, it would be nice to know when the pattern starts and ends so we could analyze it and work on a path more efficiently!
Other than that, I'm seduced. Graphics and music are neat, and the idea itself is original. Thumbs up
I feel like the concept is really simple, but that's also one of its main strength. The only downside I see is that there is no real "feedback" with own bullets (like you can't make bounces like in breakout). But everything looks good. Well done
This game looks so amazing. When I read your blog post I just felt curious about the mix, and the graphics looked attractive but... I wasn't expecting to have so much fun playing the game. Everything looks good, but if I had to make one remark, I'd say that being able to move "freely" by just inputting small moves to always have the safest position to kill the ennemies -without any penalty- can make it a bit too easy. The disenchant feature to get hp back was really cool also.
Game looks really great, and the concept is really fun. You can be proud
One of the best entries I've been able to test. Everything looks great
Nice game but I'm having some trouble with the controls; just because I do not have a QWERTY configuration but... It's still ok!
Nice job dude!
I would have never thought about doing something like this... but holy cow, you've come up with a fantastic idea there. Would definitely love to see it on stores someday
Massively singleplayer is for sure a term that triggers attention! Additionaly the Anonymous Coward default nickname is just a great idea. The only thing that frustrated me was that when I made a mistake and had to restart, I had to wait some time before getting back to high & bidirectional traffic. I wish I could have dropped instantely in the intense part but eh!
Graphics are simple, yet it didn't bother me that much. The fun was here! Nice entry!
This mix is insane! I really like it, and the graphics are just so clean. One of the best games I've seen so far.
Interesting idea, we've used Poker two as one of our two games in the mix! Welcome to the family
Cool game really. The graphics, while simple, still looked appealing to me. So yeah basically I'd say that you've really done a goob job here!
The concept is really awesome. It's kinda innovative and enjoyable, and while the tetris part is already well known, the mix with the platformer element is just so well made that it would be a must have if you sold it someday.
Really good work. The gameover comes quite easily (STAY BACK DOGGO PLZ) but it keeps things entertaining. And those graphics and audio are just so awesome!
It's been a while since I played a tower defense game. Really enjoyed it, good work guys!
By the way, if at some point you want to check ours, let me drop a link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/shady-cards
This is the first game I see where I can finally give a good humor rate. Really enjoyed that, good job!
I liked it, however the boat was slow and its hitbox was not really permissive. The mix was nice however, would play again
Nice mix. The firt thing that looked a bit weird was the fact that we could go backwards; it seemed like a mistake at first, but when reaching the end of stage 2 I understood it was intentional. It just felt a bit weird because you could spend some AP to go backwards (twice a turn max) but then you were forced to move forward. Then another thing that looked weird to me was that you were basically able to "cancel" a turn (going forward) by moving once backwards for only 5AP. But then I saw that the camera was still moving forward so it would in the end lead you to death. So I think you thought about everything hehe. Well done, good entry!
The graphics weren't too appealing at first, but the combination is really one of the funniest I've seen so far. I'd really like to see this game with improved graphics but same mechanics, because it rocks
Really interesting. If I could give some feedback though, I'd first repeat what someone said: having to type the right letters in the right order. Right now you can just roll your head on the keyboard without any penalty.
Another thing that would be really nice for people like me that types really fast, would be to see future words (like some cells away) and then typing words "in advance" would allow your character to go faster towards its destination... Then with some timer function we could basically hit high scores by typing fast and accurately! Would love to play once more if want to push the concept further
It felt really refreshing. The graphics and audio really fit well together and it results in a good mood. I'm not a native english speaker myself so I'm not sure I got quite everything but at least I knew the last answer! :D
Controls were really painful, but the rest was entertaining.
Really interesting concept. It can be hard by times but generally I think it's well thought
@jaime-paz-lopes There is no concrete objective as we focused on core mechanics before the rest. In the end we lacked time, that's why we opted for procedural generation to ensure we got some gameplay ready. To know your current money, take a look at the bottom right of the screen. There is a cell with your number of chips for every kind. White = 1$, red = 5$, blue = 10$, green = 25$, black = 100$
@brendan-toy @perfectfitz @ratbird Thanks for the feedback! Indeed the speed may be a bit high; we want to make something really fast-paced and even tend to a hardcore platformer to contrast with many games that feels too slow or easy... But yeah because of how you can climb buildings and such, maybe tweaking it down a little bit could be useful! And thanks for all the compliments!
@themadpangolin Yeah surely some people told us that the speed was a bit too fast indeed. If we can continue working on the game, we'll surely tweak it a bit.
Even if it was our first LD, we really wanted to make things as polished as possible, so your compliments go straigth to the heart!
@shockeye Thanks for the feedback. You can use TAB once in game to open a menu with the poker combinations as well as a "Menu" button, which brings you back to main menu, where you can exit the game. Maybe I should have bound this command to ESC additionally!
Thanks for the latest feedback you all gave us!
@anagf I believe that this occured when you tried to pick more than 3 cards from the board to make your combination! You should select at max 3 cards from the board + 2 from your hand, otherwise it will be counted as illegal! It felt a little confusing at first to me because I wasn't aware about this rule, but we had to make things right for those who knew poker sooo... :)
Thanks a lot for all your feedback!
@Kaiomoi You may be right, we honestly didn't have a lot of time to spend on the tutorial even though it's essential! We planned to expand it later, but we focused on procedural generation and core mechanics in general. I think it's that kind of game you can get into after spending some time, but since we are all testing a lot of games, the boring and long feeling of the tutorial can only be increased! And of course, thanks for the compliments!
@yngvarr That's an interesting idea, we should dig it a bit more but we wanted both phase to happen at the same time for the mix to be more present... But regarding the combination, I believe that you've picked more than 3 cards from the board to form your combination! That's a poker rule I wasn't aware of before I made the game, but you're supposed to take max 3 cards from the board and 2 from your hand to form the combination!
@jamblefoot Actually you're right, the penalties you get when skipping poker are too low; we aimed for bonuses such as healing, giving money, increasing attack speed and increasing number of card thrown, but the only penalty you get from not playing is having a slower attack speed. In this context, where you just have to reach the end of the level without a lot of difficulties, this only penalty seem to be really light. That's the main thing we want to work on
@loveapplegames Thanks for the awesome and detailed feedback! I'll make sure to check your game!
@moski Thanks for the comprehensive feedback and the bug report; I'll dig into it! Also I understand what you say about the mechanics as well as things you'd like to see in the future. Those are great remarks, and we of course did not mean to keep the game as is when complete. We've done what we could given the delay, and while we're pretty satisfied with the result, we have no doubt there's a lot of room for improvment and having such a report is really helpful. Thank you
Not my kind of game but I can feel the work put into it. But GOSH those graphics are just so awesome dude. Really nice style you got there.
The mix is really unique and well made! The graphics also look really clean
