We both did educational games this time, yours is a lot more educational and more of a game.. dang! This is fun and I have some other nerd friends I need to show it to.

This was a lot of fun. I played it 4 times and got a score of 64! Also the music was great, really pumps you up! Watching your gif again after playing, I now understand what I should have been doing with the space bar, I'll have to go play it again and see what me new score is!
118, knowing what to do with the space bar helped :)
I think i'll play this again later but for now this is my high score
Capture.PNG
Came back for more and got to 209!
Very fun game, I love you run out of space by shooting. Since only you are affected the cost is high, meaning that you need to take risks and let the enemy get really close before shooting. I got a high score of 15 but could easily see myself playing more if I had the time to. Thanks for making such a novel idea into a game!
This was a fun time, I had to play twice to win, and even then it felt like I got lucky a few times. I think this would be a super fun party game, please consider adding local multiplayer. (Bundle it with your RAD soccer game and I would definitely pay some $$ to play that with my pals)
I got 1350 points! I love when people make games out of mundane tasks! This was a real treat, thank you!
I love puzzle games like this, and haven't ever played one quite like this before. Thanks for giving me another way to waste my super limited time :)
I really dig the easy and open relationship choices!
I got pushed to the ceiling while trying to pick up a pink box then I ran out of space :) 10/10 would play again!
Its a great take on the theme and the graphics are fantastic!
This was great fun! I killed so many guests! I like that its very easy to understand what to do, what your objective is, and how to play.
@ditzel @sharks No matter how bad you did the game will tell you you did a good job :)
I wanted to be encouraging.
@trevor-hayes Thanks for the heads up on that bug! Also I'm thinking of really re-working the game and having it use keyboard input, show you the number in Japanese, and you have to enter it in Arabic numerals. I'll probably just do tha kanji for that at first since it is easier to code.
Whoops posted 3 times in a row....
I'm bad at interneting
@tero-pulkkinen If you play in kanji the first 3 are really easy, its 1 line for 1, 2 lines for 2 3 lines for 3, at four it gets weird because it turns into a box, 5 kind of looks like a 5 and a 3 mashed together, after that its rote memorization until 10 which looks like the roman numeral 10 tilted 90 degrees.
@raccoon-js Nice! I hope you played in Kanji so you didn't see my shame of not handling the exceptions in hiragana/romanji
@diego-manarim If you really want to learn Japanese I have some advice I can send your way as far as how to start.
@matt-tuttle Its Royalty free, no attribution music from Bad Snacks found on https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music?feature=blog
@divinenephron I think when I come back to this im going to start at random numbers only and treat it as a practice tool.
@simba I use yon for よん for the 10's and up, like よんじゅうし for 44, but I didn't use なな even though its the more fun way to read 7 :(
@agar3s your half way to being able to count to 100! after 10 they do 10-1 (juuichi/じゅういち/十一) then 10-2, ect. at 20 and higher its 2-10-1, 2-10-2 ect..
This was a lot of fun, I thought I was doing really good but I got 45th place.. Also the music is tops!
Love the art, and the enemy's are my router!
This can be a very fun puzzle mechanic. Thanks for making this RAD game :)
I had a lot of fun with this, played it 3 times. At one point I had 4 sirens going off and it started to sound like the game was saying "Go right, Go right, Go right" lol.
I really like how the field of view is centered on the 'ball'. This was a lot of fun.
@that-guy already covered all of my complaints about this game. I had fun playing it and would like to see it updated with better control.
I like the simple controls and concept a lot! Music would have been a nice addition- something chiptune-y maybe? Great work!
Played this a few too many times and am now behind on my schedule for today, very addictive game play :)
I really like the artistic choice of altering the shadows on the characters to match the beat. If you were to implement this into a full game you could easily implement the beat into a 4 frame walk cycle with clothes or items moving uniquely for each character!
I couldn't stop laughing and constantly falling into pits. I cant tell if I would prefer the music to not start over with my deaths, I kind of think that made it more funny but also more frustrating. Love the art, Love the music, and this whole concept is hilarious.
I wasn't super motivated to punch people at first but then i realized i was on a plane and i hate other passengers so I went to town. I feel like the humor could be fine tuned into something really snarky and appealing but also you should know that I cracked up when I caught sight of the copilot. Great job!
Really funny take on the theme, it was super fun to explore and also smash into the earth at terminal velocity cause the chute wouldn't open ;) My only real complaint is that the camera blur + movement sensitivity is quite nauseating but I freely admit I'm a little sensitive to that. Nice job!
The aesthetic is great! I think *any* guidance at all would have made this game much more accessible, however. Nothing was explained in game and it just kind of left me in the dark and disconnected. I feel like there's tons of potential here though! Nice work
The different sound for each character talking is great. Its amazing how much Big Snake sounded like Solid Snake while not being a voice. I love the graphics for this one as well. Great job!
It was an interesting idea. It took me a min to get the hang of it but once I realized I can just shoot colors I don't want into space I got a lot better at it. The faster speed makes it pretty hectic in a good way :)
Fun game, I like how you have to stop the date to deal with fans then suffer the consequence of using your phone while on a date :)
I am here for this A E S T H E T I C omg
I survived for 71 seconds!
I had a lot of fun with this. If you get behind the computer you want to deal fast and make quick decisions. Once I was ahead of the computer I would wait until the timer was at 1 before hitting or standing to get that much further ahead of the opponent. It was a very enjoyable positive feedback loop.
This game was a lot of fun, I think having more of a delay between planting and monsters being ready to 'harvest' would be best but otherwise I've played a lot of farming games in my day but none where you have to fight the crops. Its a lot of fun and worthy of continued development.
The grappling felt very fun and intuitive. If you don't continue on this game you should keep that mechanic in mind for whatever else you work on, its solid. :)
The art is so cute, the visuals look really polished.
Fun game, I was getting into it then when paying to much attention to what cards I had I fell off the edge of the map lol, guess I should be more careful.
Good use of repetition, and your choice to not wipe the screen when using repetition was poignant. Very interesting way to deliver this story.
I love this game. The rhythm matching was challenging but not impossible and the music was catchy without being hard to anticipate. Great work!
Its the prettiest Skinner Box I've ever played. Very addictive game play keeps you wanting to try one more time. The level up skill tree was a great addition!
Neat idea, I think a visual indicator that the countdown is happening during a decision would be helpful- so that i know the game's gonna pick for me if I don't hurry up. Also I think the general text could use a little more editing, there were some confusing sentences and typos. Cool concept overall, it fits the theme well!
I want to see more turn based strategy sports games!
Whoah that's a neat concept. Super hard for my old person brain to parse out the controls a little though, I definitely experienced a bit of a learning curve.
Love the story, when I got caught I was expecting Sneak.. Sneeeak!!
The art direction in this is amazing. Everything meshes together so nicely and each room feels unique and vibrant. Great job!
Super hard but a great concept.
I'm no good at rhythm games so I killed myself pretty quick. I love platformers though and I thought the jumping and movement was very intuitive and felt good.
I found it pretty easy to control the force applied to the ball, but difficult to move the camera around. On my first attempt had to decide to stop playing because I kept increasing time, if you add more holes maybe limit the number of balls players get per hole, or have a set goal and a timer they are trying to beat..
Regardless this was very fun, one of my favorites from this jam, and believe it or not I don't actually like golf games or shooter games..
@bazld Its good to get out of your comfort zone and learn new things but making a game you like and sharing it is what makes game dev so fun. I really dig this game, I'll have to check out your pool game.
Do you think it would be OK if I reach out to you in the future with some unity questions? I'm in the middle of making a weird physics based bowling game and would love if you could point me in the direction of how you added force to the ball in this game (how it hits harder if you shoot the laser closer to the ball).
@bazld Thank you, Also your pool game is fun, I found myself keeping track of how many shots it took to sink all the balls and trying to beat my own record, gotta stop playing that so I can play more LD41 games. Seriously thanks again your really cool!
Very fun, very intuitive design. I would love to see this on a controller with a twin stick shooter layout. I think you did a particularly good job building up the difficulty by starting with basically harmless enemy's the player can learn the core concept of the game in relative safety. Excellent tutorial design!
Dialog and humorous artwork really made this an interesting play.
Simple and clean! Clever concept!
Neat idea, I like the flickering screen/terminal emulation, it really brought me back to those chunky text games of the 80s. Also, the narrative tone of minesweeper is just so ludicrous. I love it.
Its so hectic and fun!
すごい。。。ゲームは面白いですよ!
I love how the big robot is playing a platformer and you can jump on the support characters to move further into the level. I really like how each character has its own specialty. If you sink some more time into this I think it can become a cult classic!
Great concept, I love the audio and thought it was a perfect fit.
Very solid game, great job on the difficulty progression and the pacing for adding new challenges.
Nice implementation of the theme! Like a few others have mentioned: the controls weren't super intuitive, ingame highlights or text would be helpful. Looks great tho!
This is a lot of fun, played it with my spouse 5 times, she won so I have to write the review ;)
I like the concept/music/graphics but I dont see a way to download a version of the game that was uploaded before the deadline.
Also the bubble wrap was a fun extra.
Excellent tutorial level. Didn't feel to hand holdey while ensuring we knew the basics of the game before presenting us with danger. Very good level design!
@Anudin Running out of time is what LD is all about :) The tutorial was very good though surprising that hasn't been called out more. I strongly prefer tutorials that let the player learn how to play on their own rather than telling them (of course my game has big text explaining a weird button choice...) I'll try harder next time to practice what I preach. Keep up the good work.
I'm not sure what happened but player 2 suddenly got thrown way off the map and I had to run around and try to pick flowers by myself with half the screen solid white. The narration was jarring at first but endearing and kind of reminded me of playing The Beginners Guide or Icey. More developers should play with that idea.
This felt like it could be a lot of fun, I wish there was sound and that hitting a wall did not mean turning to face the wall head on. Also don't sell yourself short that art is really impressive for a 12 hour project!
This is the turn based strategy game I've always wanted. I don't have to fight, i'm just trying to make a cool civilization and get along with my neighboring clans! I love this!
We left you a silly review if you want to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/modern-fairway-4-spec-ops-in-the-rough/$96351
I like the concept a lot, the turn-based movement really makes it super strategic. That being said, i feel like the complexity and information density of the ingame instructions kind of work against jumping right into this. Some icons or color coding in the UI might go a long way. Great basis for something really intricate though.
I like the relaxing feel to this a lot! Interesting sfx.
Its like if the games I played as a kid got mixed with the games my parents played as a kid. Loved the graphics and the music, very retro!
The hand drawn art style was really fun, I also love the gun SFX. Thank you for making this.
Switching between defending and fishing was a lot of fun. I like that you cant see the tower side while fishing so you just have to trust that the defenses you placed are working. This is a game I can see myself playing many more times.
The basic mechanics of this were a lot of fun, if you add more cards and telegraph what enemy are likely to do (maybe just let the player see their hand) it can be a really great game. I would also like a game like this that is multiplayer but with a lot of players at once.
Its my birthday today, your skeletons disappointing birthday party made me crack up :)
This is a fun concept that could easily be polished into a full game. ✌️
Great game, I love SHMUPS and Bullet Hell games, I like the turn based aspect, makes it a kind of puzzle game. Really well done!
I saw this one on my Google news feed and knew I had to play it! Very fun, Please PLEASE make a multiplayer version of this.
The art, and music were amazing. The clinic worker with the mouth full of secrets 👌
@saoi-games I agree, putting in real info from victims of gun violence (then wiring up some kind of donate feature to an appropriate charity) would probably get this game a LOT of press and make people confront their own opinions/beliefs, this game would be capital A art.
Hey! I wrote a silly review for your game here if you'd like to take a look! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/modern-fairway-4-spec-ops-in-the-rough/$96464
This was a lot of fun, I like that you have to harvest the weapons that you are using to defend in order to grow more.
I really like the low poly look, and mixing an FPS with a farming sim is a fun idea. I got board of having to pick up each berry and coin, would be nice to auto collect.
I really like when you leave the normal battle system to put in the top down mini golf course. I went over par and got a bad result but I thought it was really fun!
Cracked up at this game over screen. This is a very unique idea, and it was a lot of fun! Thanks for making this :) Capture.PNG
I absolutely love having the title card and controls on the menu, and the credits on the bill, great polish!
I think the timing might be just slightly off but this is a great looking game for a weekend job!
Man, maybe I'm biased but weird, subversive golf games are SO FUNNY.
I was only able to survive 4 waves after playing twice.
Its so stressful when you are spotted and the music changes :scream: I would like to see a version of this with some creepy trucker lore. Great job on the atmosphere!
Best stealth cooking game I've ever played.
Love the text graphics/kao face! I apparently have a very noisy keyboard and didn't know until just now because of how violently I was trying to smash the word JUMP. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This was a lot of fun, I've never considered a tower defense game where everything is placed and you have to make the best path. 2nd level was real challenging. Thank you for making this.
The music is so good! I want to listen to this while I study!
@notpresident35 I study fast ;)
Nice concept! We did a sports + shooter derivative game too, wanna see? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/modern-fairway-4-spec-ops-in-the-rough
Very clean looking, great polish!
This game is absolutely amazing. So well polished, such simple gameplay that takes real skill to master. Gotta go show this to my non dev friends now.
Hilarious combination, this is my kind of game! We made a FPS Golf game for the jam and we are currently working on a bowling game. The camera transitions from frame to frame were a really nice touch, and the way the pins break into rubble was very satisfying.
I'm terrible at rhythm games but I really appreciate that this is a rhythm game and not a rhythm themed game like the other 'rhythm' games i've played from this jam. You actually have to hit the keys in time with the music, so I died :)
Love the graphic style, it's cute but also like, really creepy and unsettling at the same time.
Its surprising how much clicking to keep the health up adds to the feeling of urgency to rush through the level.
Love the art!
I tried playing the game before reading how to play and kept getting stuck on the stairs, tried it again after reading how to play and made progress. Fun and creative idea.
Neat concept, but as a few people have said, the waves are a bit long. :)
yoooo these visuals are SICK!
This game is amazing! Put this out with controller support and I would play it for hours!
Congratulations this was one of my absolute favorite games and I NEED you to make it even better. This is a real gem and should be pursued further.
omg no dog, i just want a pizza. Love the genre mix up and the retro aesthetic.
I LOVE the concept and the artwork + bonus points for combining 3 themes! Some ingame control prompts would have been highly appreciated as I found myself scrolling down to check the controls constantly. I feel like my Palico from Monster Hunter World would be super into these pastimes.
I've played a few text-based platformers this dare but I like how all the movement is tied to the input and there aren't enemies moving real-time while you frantically try to type. That said, having enemies move but maybe only when you do might be neat. Great job on the audio/visual component as well!
LOL we had the same idea, FPS + Golf, low poly environments, cheerful music to make an absurd and funny golf experience. You have a much more polished version. I really like your course design and the arrow that points players to where the hole is. If you want to see another teams take on the same idea check out our game. Some 'features' ours has that yours did not:
1. Broken menu's (the mouse is hidden when going from game to menu's so you cant click anything 2. Floating plants 3. Hide and seek to find the hole
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/modern-fairway-4-spec-ops-in-the-rough
This game is beautiful, the color shift when taking damage was a fantastic idea.
This is an awesome concept! Also it was super cool of you to add keyboard support as a post-dare thing but I kind of think that without its own set of indicators, using a keyboard is quite difficult. I know I had a hard time remembering the key-conversions and then looking at the button letters on screen just sort of threw me off more lol. I can totally understand developing this game without that support initially, but if you're going to add it you may want to consider adjusting the visuals as well. ✌️
I like how this gives more incentive to want to go fast.
I loved this game, took 2 game types I already love and made a very RAD experience. I saved it to my itch.io collection so I can get some Breakout card game action again later!
First of all the art is a very strange but likeable mix of very weird and cute. The pacing of the card game is fast enough to make me feel a bit frantic but not so much that it's all frustrated button mashing. I liked it a lot!
Wow, challenging! The textbox describing the actions off to the side made me chuckle. Great themeing.
I've always been a fan of games like Phoenix write and Danganronpa. It was a real treat to play this, thanks.
Nice concept, a lot of people implemented clicker mechanics but this was really quite fun. A few people above mentioned but some GUI polishing would be very helpful here. Otherwise, I like the minimalist style and neon lights, it matched the music well!
Super fun, the music was great and the game was easy to pick up and start playing.
Untitled.png
Frankly, I think this might be one of my favorite entries so far. Its relaxing and has good visuals. With a slightly crunchier soundtrack, this game would be amazing.
fyi i made a silly little review for your game, you can check it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/modern-fairway-4-spec-ops-in-the-rough/$95928
The voice acting is top! Super funny game and it taught me how quickly I'll die if I have to talk to children while driving. VERY QUICKLY.
Concept is neat! I think this could really benefit from some fonts that aren't Arial and more creepy, ambient music for the title screen and possibly no music for the game scen. :)
This would be really cool with multiplayer!
Really liked the music and pixel art, it looks great especially considering it was a 1 person team.
Really neat concept that fits the theme! I freely admit I might just be terrible at it but the difficulty curve seems a bit steep. Maybe some vague indication of where the enemy's aiming would help. Otherwise it was super fun and looks great considering how much time was put into it!
Wow! I love the environment assets and the music choice was tops! I found it a little difficult to hit the left/right while frantically clicking but I can accept that as a legit difficulty curve!
Very cute game, I would love to see an updated version of it.
I love the 70's sounding music and the hipster character design. Its funny and cute.
This would make a great mobile game that I would definitely play! Especially with more dress up items! Super cute robot squee animation and I love the music transition.
I feel like the tutorial is way to text-dense and long to be effective at holding the player's attention but the system isn't as complicated as it seems and the art is very cute!
Nice graphics and solid gameplay.
wow this feels exactly like an old game n watch or tiger electronic game. good work!
@piscythe Thanks! We forgot to apply colliders to the rock and tree/cactus models before placing them :) It would have taken to long to fix. I've always been terrible at FPS games and thought the difficulty hitting the ball was just me lol. Anyway if you play again the game randomly drops you into one of 2 scenes a mostly featureless desert and a mostly featureless grassy area. The Grassy area is where we learned we needed a function to find the ball. It gets lost in the rough and even once you find it if its moving at all its soo hard to track.
@piscythe lol, sorry. Thanks for playing it though.
@Listonos Thank you! We actually were able to come up with a couple fun ideas for this theme but we thought this one sounded the funniest. (I cackled the whole time i was making the menu images)
@Joe Zabriskie Thanks, man! As far as the gun sensitivity goes- we're actually really, really bad at shooters (like, unforgivably terrible) and had minimal frame of reference when we were trying to refine it! Several people have mentioned it though, so I will file that away for later!
@noumenus We noticed the cursor thing too but it was too late to fix! (Foolishly we had a tabletop rpg scheduled with some friends for immediately after the submission deadline oops. We'll definitely keep that day clear for polish/bug fixes on the next dare)
@Team-Orange-Pop eb3947fe786d10e9.gif
@Beebo-Studios Unfortunately we had many floating cacti/trees because we placed them all by hand. Why did we place them all by hand? We forgot about rigidbodies and colliders and stuff and then it was too late cause Ludum Dare waits for no dev. Especially sleep deprived ones subsisting on frozen pizza. Thank you very much for the fish!
@Yozamu Thanks, if people like the game enough we might re-visit it and make all the trees/cacti be stuck into the ground, I think I would stick with the low poly look, probably get the ground and guns ect.. to fit that art style as well.
@kpded I'm really happy with how absurd the mechanics turned out to be.
@kpded I am making a note of this right now.
@Beelzeboss Thank you! Most of the music was from Kevin MacLeod- a free use composer who does a lot of different genres. He's a godsend!
@chunkybrewster Not gonna lie, we had to research both guns and clubs to come up with those names but we were laughing while we typed them out and figured that was a good sign.
@ghust1995 Thank you very much! We loved the theme and were so excited to get a concept down after it was released. We had some other funny ideas but golf + FPS seemed the most outlandish and that's how Modern Fairway 4 was born.
@hankworx yeah we weren't sure about the stamina bar either but of course we had very little time to play test lol
@fitz13 Thank YOU for playing it!! Depending on a bunch of factors- including the overall interest here on Ludum Dare- we might continue with development to full release. We REALLY enjoyed working on this so fingers crossed!
@Karai17 Thank you! Time management and scope were our biggest hurdles in this Dare (which was our first). Going through this again, we'd definitely place those things on a higher priority.
@Nannah Thank you very much! We had a couple minor crises with the models and placed many of them by hand which is why some of them are mysteriously floating haha.
@Phil-Busuttil Ball movement is definitely on our list of improvements if we ultimately decide to go forward with this. Thanks for playing!
@notpresident35 @Dovakla @Sharks @Amour-Du-Pain Thank you so much!
@niterich thanks for playing and commenting! While we only had a few hours to really conceptualize MF4, we both decided that keeping the genres more disparate in menus and level design was funnier than playing a full FPS with a golf ball for a target. Personally, i think keeping things a little jarring like that adds to the humor but I can absolutely see the appeal in a full FPS style get up with a golf mechanic (it's just as outlandish, really).
Also thanks for the feedback on the other points as well! If we decide to push MF4 to a full release we'll definitely work on refining those things!
@wildcard No option for the sensitivity, nether of us actually play FPS games so we didn't know that was an issue. We both had trouble hitting the ball while play testing but we thought that was just because we sucked at FPS games :)
After the judging is over I plan to fix that.
@Anudin Thank you for playing and for the feedback, After the judging is over we will be making a few improvements, and if the game is popular enough we may re-visit the idea and make it into a full game.
@joemid You became the ball to overcome the ball!
@Diego-Manarim I hate golf but I really like a few mini golf games. Been playing a lot of Desert Golf lately and Kirby's Dreamcourse is one of my favorite games. We left you a review on itch.io
@TheMonsterFromTheDeep I thought the guns were always assigned the same number but it is based on the order in which they are picked up. I'll make sure to change the wording on those. Thanks for catching that.
@mr-chocolatesalmon it was either Tchaikovsky or that really famous refrain from non piu andrai and it was a REALLY tough choice!
@kpded Flame Thrower has been added to post Jam version, its in the giant skull behind the player starting position on the desert location. We named it after you
Capture.PNG
@LuckyFeathers Thank you for playing! You made an awesome 4X game in this time frame so saying we ran out of time sounds lame but well, we did. Thank you for the advice about screen size scaling, we will definitely be doing that in our other games.
I will say that the ball always moving was a conscious decision. I accidentally forgot to add drag and while play testing thought it was fun/funny that the ball was basically avoiding me, especially in the rough where it is like your trying to hit a spy ball in the grass. I added drag and though the game felt boring, its too easy to hit a stationary ball and the force applied to the ball is straight so its not hard to get t to go where you want. In the post jam version I left the lack of drag so the ball continues to be evasive.
@Blinkenlights lol I should probably put some kind of invisible wall around the hole to keep players from falling in. Or make the hole smaller but then it would be way to hard to get the ball in it. Glad you enjoyed our game :)
@Sokuaisushi Thanks, we didn't make the art assets so I opted out of Graphics. We did place them all in the terrain by hand which is why the jam version has do many floating plants, and unseen by players but many subterranean flowers ;)
I'm glad you liked the look of it.
Your post on the front of site hooked me, I had to play this! Its a surprising combination and I had blast playing it.
Great puzzle platformer, I really like the mechanics or using the crane game to change the level and get places, I would buy it!
This is easily one of the best looking entries i've seen so far! Its charming and relaxing and the sound design is SO well done!
Very cool idea, and I love the design of the main character! I really like how you keep the pressure up by not pausing time in the menu. Reminded me of The Last Of Us, and ZombieU. Keep up the great work :)
Had to go back to your itch.io page to figure out how to play but once I knew the controls this was a lot of fun. Also the SFX were 100% on point!
Neat concept- I think the visual style could use a little refinement, like someone above said the projectiles are a bit hard to differentiate from the background but that could be as simple as a color adjustment and like a metallic or lighting effect or even making the projectiles diamond shaped instead of round. I really liked the 'organic' sfx, they were quirky and added a fun touch.
Neat idea, I found it quite challenging but the concept/theme of it is super rad (also the graphic/sound combo is noice)
I really like the idea of mixing an economy game and a shmup. Also making the ammunition the thing you are trading makes for interesting choices, do I want to clear the enemy to make it easier to not take hits or try to just dodge to get more cash!
I got 5200 points! Good music choice it really fits well with how silly the game play is.
The particle effects and tank sprites look great, the jumping was definitely difficult and I felt like if the thrust was extended just a little the difficulty curve wouldn't be quite so steep. Overall fun game, though, and like I said the visual stile and audio are great!
Really digging the Arizona olde-timey theme.
Won with 129! This was fun, if I have time I think I'll play agan and try to top my score. Add a leader board please!
It feels really solid when my notes hit enemy's.
Really cool art style. Also loved the "Whoever created these clearly ran out of time during a game jam" line. I screen shot it and everything only to see someone beat me to it.
Considering this is a Jam game, it looks great. I think the movement could use some polish, mostly, but the animation and overall aesthetic are tops.
I won without cheating but it was a long game, Henry almost won thanks so some snakes!
I love the concept but like many people said, there's a bit of a difficulty curve. With a little refinement though, I think this could be an awesome full release.
I'm in 4th place!
Capture.PNG
Mine would have been safer if I was trying to shoot it :)
This looks really good! I suggest toning back the vocal feedback for missed buttons a little bit in favor of making the music a little more prominent but overall this was a fun game and a neat concept!
