Right on had fun
This was a truly awesome game! Very fun...definitely a game to keep :)
Nice work a clicker game and space shooter combined :).
Turned more into a shootemup once the printer was researched. I like using the bullets as a currency. Cool stuff!
Whaaaat this game is so fun! The combination works great. My left hand was shootin and my right hand was buyin. Those purple ones are hecka OP. I like the addition of the global score table to see how I did.
Sweeeet! Great game! I've never been one for the clicker games, but god this is addictive. It's that shmup blend. Love it!
i'm 500+ apm now
Funnest compo I've played so far! Nice work. I think I wore my left click out playing though :p
Nice GAME! It was both a fun clicker game and a space shooter. Good job!!!!! The graphics for me were on point and the mechanics felt right. For me it was more a shooter than a clicker, but this is totally design choice. Be proud :)
I think the game was a lot of fun! Great job. I wish there were some different game design decisions: Here are some that stuck to mind: 1) Naming you upgrades, just name them the effect. Ammo upgrade (+1 damage), just say damage upgrade. Gun upgrade (1+ ROF) same goes. 2) The ramp up scheme is too gentle, introduce more interesting enemies faster. The game became FUN when the purple guys started showing up. 3) I would hope for more varied options. The purple guys would camp one side of the map and I would wait for my shields to recharge to do a dive attack. 4) For the love of whatever belief system you subscribe to for the sound effects add around 10% frequency increase or decrease to every sound effect. Identical sound effect repetitions are very tiring.
Overall great job!
really found myself enjoying it through the carpal tunnel
I'm in 4th place!
Wowwww, this is super solid! This is a great example of how to make a complete game. Nothing feels like it was left undone. I like the difficulty progression, felt fair all the way through. Like the enemy design, easily recognizable. I like the leaderboard and UI design. Overall a great achievement!
I had way too much fun playing this, really neat idea. The sound effects eventually got boring, and the enemy designs were also fairly uninspired, but the core mechanics were executed pretty well so it never really let me down.
That was really fun! Good take on the theme. Effective use of the graphics style. The sound effects were also well done. Minimalist but appropriate in all the right places particularly with the explosions. I liked the ramping and I liked the choices. Also great use of a leaderboard with a solid leaderboard execution. Very nicely done!
The difficulty progression on this was perfect. I'm not awesome at multitasking so I didn't do too well, but it was still lots of fun. Nicely done!
this is a super chill little game that ramps up to mega owie town. the controls ended up causing my hand to cramp but i had a lot of fun! (subtle feedback on maybe controls with hand health in mind)
Awesome Game, It shows that you don't need to over complicate things to make a great game. I can really respect that, I wish I had that insight when I did my LD game. I love the Pacing, It allowed me to immerse myslef and slowly building up the tension and difficulty, Soon i was dodging bullets trying to weave myself to safety or to preemptively kill an annoying enemy before they get the chance to unleash the barrage of bullets. Great game well done.
Nice game, very addictive with well balanced difficulty ! I start slow but It gets very difficult especially with purple ones. The final score is a nice touch !
I think this is the most fun game I've played this jam! Really nicely done. Not much to add other than it got super-hard later in the game with a screen full of enemies and not a lot of options, and that the clicking aspect kind of fell by the wayside once your BPS got quite high and there's not an urgent need to buy stuff.
A real standout. Good solid fun.
Really fun good! After the printer was powered up there wasn't much incentive to keep clicking to gain more individual bullets, but aside from that this game was really solid.
Cool combination! I saw some other clicker-combos, but what I liked about this one was that it was totally playable on both sides at once. I felt pretty smoothly able to operate the ship and the economy at the same time, and I also felt like I really understood everything that was going on.
Controls felt tight, and it looked nice. The crunchy sound effects worked well with the pixelish art, and I liked how the screen got sloppy with particle trails when things got hectic! The curved ship that would rotate in place and spray a stream of bullets was the guy who created the most interesting dodge problems for me, that was my favorite.
Nice entry!
Really strange mashup, but I quite enjoyed it. After a while it seems like you mostly let the bullet factory run automatically and just click on things to buy between waves, but maybe that was intentional.
Really cool genre combo! Real time purchasing of upgrades worked really well with the shmup style. The difficulty ramp felt great with the importance of purchases getting greater as the stakes got higher. Of course I'd like hotkeys but that would defeat the purpose of a clicker! The scoreboard functionality really sells the completeness of it! Great work.
Very fun game. The art works really well. And it has a good enemy variety. I find hard to do the incremental and the space shooter part at the same time tho. That being said, great game! =)
