it's a nice little roller ball game, some very clunky camera mechanics that if sorted out would help the controls a loooot. the level design had a nice pace to them but maybe could be reshiffled a bit for difficulty curve. great job!

this is a really cute idea tbh!

the way that you mashed together the realtime elements with the turn based stationary shot mechanic really surprised me.

i'd say maybe adding some timer bars would go a log way for the shooting obstacles but otherwise i love the heck out of it

this is a really neat mashup. probably not something i'd play a lot but a nice experience. I felt like the shooting was less fun and more of a nuisance tbh. the art and audio is super tight and the feedback is super chill. i'd suggest maybe faster bullets or a laser as the current travel speed makes the bullets feel very sluggish also forcing the player to wait till the explosion is over to fire another bullet really slowed down the pace for me.

all things said, great work!

AAAHHHH this was really fun. the controls were sticks ant the sluggish. the camera was really restrictive on information but overall a very nice bouncy fun game.

I suggest health bars on enemies would be really good!

Hey! This is a neat little concept, the way the card aims is nice but the controls are really limited. Also there is a like 0 feedback on whats actually happening. Would be nice to maybe have visible health bars instead of the weirdly vague health count on the card itself i thought was my health i guess?

I liked a lot of the basics of what you have going on here but the gameplay left me quite confused and i thought it was pretty bland after day 6.

maybe you could have the level be impossibly hard and you have to grow plants on your that eat your enemies? wither way super solid and didn't crash. visuals were a bit blurry for my liking but they fit the crunchy low fi style of music really well!

I had a bunch of bugs like audio glitches and being spawned outside the map, also getting complete wrecked because I didn't know how the plants spawned was a bit derp.

otherwise i see this as having a really good potential as a crossover between something like sanctum and harvest moon. great work!

its a cool concept but i don't think these genres are particularly incompatible. like i wouldn't peg crafting as a genre either.

outside of that its a solid little shot at topdown shooting but the art is very unfocused. a singular style would really help out the feel.

This is such a comfy game! I loved the way it was put together. The Gameplay is suuuper basic but a rock solid foundation. The art style is a bit directionless and could use a lot of unification. pixel gradient crops. Handpainted props. toony skeletons and just flat animationless turrets. all of those are a few hours a pop to make them really juiced. i hope you continue on this project!

@a_a ahh sorry for the feeling! at the moment we didn't have a proper deck implemented and the cards are randomly assigned. the current premium strategy is to spam cards as fast as you can, the idea of the game is that you're supposed to be quite clumsy and the mesh should be hard to control so i think that's working well but for the wrong reasons. ok so this is the game i spent the most time on and probably the best implementation of this concept. great work!

obviously its rough as hell, poorly optimised, completely unfinished but the fun is through the roof. the game was really broken by just using flamethrowers on turnips but hell it was satisfying

To be honest i'd agree with feeling like it was watching someone else play. a little stale for me abut you did a lot with what you had.

i'd suggest upping the pace a bit and working on controls. they should work with the player a bit more to help the aiming. great job though!

so some feedback, the player movement feels very sterile to me. adding some bouncy jump animation to the player might help a lot but maybe have the player accellerate up to max speed over a few frames as opposed to snapping to it instant.

visually if everything was a bit more unified that would be cool, ike having the particle effect vbe more pixellated perhaps?

has a lot of potential as a couch co-op game keep it up!
