When I first read of your concept, I was intrigued as to how this would play and how you implemented it. Turns out it plays very well! I like how the games freeze if you aren't inputting anything which gives you some time to observe them, otherwise this could have easily become a bit chaotic. Well done!
The atmosphere in this game is great, if only the loud collecting sound and the bright shining crystals that get in front of the camera when following you, wouldn't break the immersion frequently. This has a lot of potential though!
This was so much fun to play! The music, the art style, the rhythm style gameplay are all fantastic in their own right and perfectly work together. Everything's very polished and well implemented, while a lot of work also went into small details, like the way the music is implemented during the rhythm part. Amazing entry!
This is so much fun to play! Love the risk/reward gameplay as the take on the theme. The graphics are also very nice. I like this a lot and I'm sure I'll play some more to climb my way on the leaderboard ;)
This game is a lot of fun, good job! It's challenging and can be a bit frustrating at times because the movement controls are very sensitive but the almost instant respawn times keep you engaged. The minimalistic art style looks great and the music's catchy. I like it!
The balls could be a bit bigger so that it's easier to kick them around, not being able to hit them properly was a bit frustrating for me. Aside from that though it's a very nice game!
Wow this game is really good! I love how you added complexity and difficulty not by increasing enemy health or decreasing shooting speed but by introducing new game mechanics which you then have to handle at the same time, such a great idea for incorporating the theme. Well done!
Interesting concept with a nice message at the end and also an interesting art style. I like it, except that opening a lootbox took a while to 'open' and the sound was a bit annoying, but that might've been intentional ;)
Great entry! It's definitely difficult to keep up with everything, but the challenges are all well implemented and interesting because they're critical of social media. What's funny is that my game for LD40, called 'Friendzy', has a very similar concept. Great minds think alike, I'd say ;)
Very charming little game. As opposed to your other LD40 entry, this focuses less on the gameplay and more on the theme's implementation in the writing which is also very interesting and I had a good time playing through it. Also, I'm still amazed by how you managed to make two games for the Jam with this level of polish. Good job!
I love the pixel art in this, the shading on the character's very nice! Only issue I had was that the enemies speed is the same as the player character ones which made for awkward situations where I'd run away from an enemy so close behind me that I couldn't stop and turn around to shoot him; a slight speed difference would've been good. Aside from that, it's a very cute little game!
I really like this game! Visuals and sound were fantastic and I love the way you use perspective, made for some funny and surprising moments!
Cute game with some nice and challenging puzzles. The music is really awesome, too!
The idea for this game is really nice but the execution lacks a bit. The graphics and music are really good but the mechanics are a bit weird. It's difficult to be in the rhythm because there isn't a clear indicator for it. That would have helped a lot with the gameplay.
This has to be one of my favorite entries of this jam! Love the aesthetics, they fit nicely to the gameplay and are really well done. The graphics look great and the mechanics are well implemented; I also like the two genres you combined it's pretty unique, fits together nicely and is really fun to play. Aside from a few physics-hiccups, the rather glitchy looking reflections (that fortunately fit the aesthetic) and the fact that one map didn't spawn for me, I really enjoyed this! Good job!
I love how good this game looks and how juicy it is, makes it so much fun to play! Also, nice take on the theme but I feel like the focus lies a bit too much on the rhythm part. But regardless, awesome entry!
This is a solid take on the theme and a solid game as well. It's fun to play but gets a bit tiring over time because every action has to be activated by mouse-click. I would recommend either adding keyboard shortcuts or making the buttons bigger/ closer together so that clicking on them is easier. Aside from that though a great entry!
This is such a good entry. It looks so good and is very well made for a Jam game. Loved the story part you included as well, especially cool is that it even rhymes. Only problem is that the game is a bit too punishing, resetting all days when you fail. Checkpoints for each day would've been great. Overall, though, a great entry!
I love this idea and the writing was nice, pretty funny. But some of the things you have to dodge come too surprisingly. Still liked it though!
This is such a good concept and really fun to play once you get the hang of the controls, which could use some fine-tuning. Aside from that though it's a nice little game with a great core concept that I would love to see further explored
This was really fun to play. Love the idea as well, it's hilarious. At the beginning the game was quite hard but once I realized stamina management is key and that waiting longer is often times the better choice it became a lot of fun
This is a really fun game to play. Love how it at first starts out as a game focusing on your knowledge of the English language but later on becomes more and more a test of skill and reflexes. Great combination of genres and well executed!
