Wow this looks amazing

piscythe 2018-04-23 22:00

After some experimentation, I have come to the conclusion that I am a terrible shot. This is a great idea, though - I laughed a little just reading the weapon descriptions. I wish I'd had a more involved course, though - pushing the ball along a featureless desert got a bit old. Also, it seems odd to me that the ball doesn't collide at all with rocks. I understand that otherwise it would get stuck, but it's a bit tricky trying to get the ball out from inside a rock. I am very thankful that you included the tab-to-locate-ball feature. Good work!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-23 22:07

@piscythe Thanks! We forgot to apply colliders to the rock and tree/cactus models before placing them :) It would have taken to long to fix. I've always been terrible at FPS games and thought the difficulty hitting the ball was just me lol. Anyway if you play again the game randomly drops you into one of 2 scenes a mostly featureless desert and a mostly featureless grassy area. The Grassy area is where we learned we needed a function to find the ball. It gets lost in the rough and even once you find it if its moving at all its soo hard to track.

masterkrepta 2018-04-23 22:33

Now i know i would still suck at golf even if was able to use a gun :). I noticed the ball seems to roll a bit at the beginning, which made it difficult to hit the ball with the sniper rifle. But I really enjoyed the pistol and rifle.

gno-evenimente 2018-04-23 22:39

original idea, and good graphics. Ball physics are kin of weird.., maybe first level should be an easier hole.

piscythe 2018-04-23 22:45

@Lost Dutchman Software I figured that was how the stage got picked but I rolled desert four times in a row and gave up on getting the grass.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-23 22:49

@piscythe lol, sorry. Thanks for playing it though.

piscythe 2018-04-23 23:13

@Lost Dutchman Software Got it on my 6th attempt.

kromeboy 2018-04-23 23:24

managed to complete the curse in about 200 shots :-) the hard part is that the ball never stops rolling: I think that could be a less frustrating experience if the ball actually stops at a certain speed.

Great take on the theme

augustetheclown 2018-04-24 04:08

This is probably the funniest combination I've seen so far. It's wonderfully clever and you could easily spin this out into a proper game release. The ball highlight feature was a great choice, but I'm not sure if I can say the same about the stamina bar. I spent a long time chasing after the ball, and would have liked to catch up to it sooner. That's not to say the game is bad at all, though, since that's really the only complaint I have.

jima 2018-04-24 04:59

Really silly combination and the music makes it! But as for gameplay, I got bored pretty quickly. The map is huge. I played it for like 5 minutes and didn't make it near the hole. I even don't know where the hole is, my ball just rolled down to the map edge and I didn't know what to do. It would be MUCH better if you made a sequence of smaller levels. And you should definetelly fix flying cactuses.

jrpl 2018-04-24 06:32

Although the game is short and the assault rifle is impossible to use I couldn't help but laugh at how outrageous this game is. The concept is great for this theme and it was pretty fun.

schizoid2k 2018-04-24 18:22

Nice concept. I liked the idea and the music made my laugh a bit. I did have trouble finding where the flag was... perhaps hitting tab to highlight both the ball and the hole would help a little?

sharks 2018-04-25 00:39

Haha! This looks amazing! I can't wait to play!

justin 2018-04-25 00:45

Really nice concept - however I feel like if you had made shorter more golf like courses instead of one insanely long one it would have really added to the game! For about 5 mins I was wondering if there even was a hole at the end of it ^^ had a little chuckle at the gun descriptions. The biggest thing for me was the sensitivity. You didn't add a sensitivity slider and the default sensitivity is insanely high. The music was kinda cool ^^ Overall it was a fun couple of mins though :) (really though, having a few shorted courses would've really made it a lot more fun - maybe a par 3 length where you can potentially get a hole in one or even a couple of different holes would really make this quite a fun game!) ------- Just noticed you do have a second map (sorry, I only played one round and so I didn't know till I saw the gifs at the top of this page). Still would prefer shorter maps :)

zgragselus 2018-04-25 00:46

Clever combination, very funny! I enjoyed my time playing this game, although using automatic rifle was close to impossible, standard rifle... yeah I could hit it occasionally.

This is purely due to my aiming skills with mouse though!

Keep up the good work!

team-orange-pop 2018-04-25 00:55

Great use of the theme. I it funny and amusing to shoot a golf bal. 'Merca

jlv 2018-04-25 01:00

A brilliant idea, quite well executed. Pushing the ball through this huge green space is sometimes a bit tiring, especially since your sprint is limited (through I once found myself running after the ball hoping for my sprint to come back in order to reach it and fire the decisive round, so the limited sprit has its perks too, I guess). On the aesthetic standpoint, I had a grin thoughout both my playtrhoughs, the music choice being excellent and the level design being ridiculously upsetting (in a good way ! the ball just never stops). The menu might however be a little broken ("Misson start", broken cursor), but all in all, great game !

noumenus 2018-04-25 01:03

cool idea. It was very relaxing to shoot the ball, especially with the music. I feel like the character could move a bit faster. One problem I ran into was upon leaving a game the main menu wouldn't unlock my cursor, I would have to ctrl+alt+del to get it back.

beebo-studios 2018-04-25 01:06

Oh boy, that title :D - Humor 5/5 The idea is really interesting and we see a lot of potential in your game! We think a map of the course would have helped a lot because we started in the desert and had no idea where we should be going. Also alot of cacti and stones where floating in the air. One cactus seemed strangely suspicious. there was something off about it, but we could not figure out what it was. Have a fish for your cool game! 🐟

listonos 2018-04-25 01:10

Really really good concept, I am sure to mention there was a crazy game about play golf with automatic rifles when someone asks about this LD. The gunplay was spot-on, the only complain being very high sensitivity. The music fit fairly well, though got old little bit too quickly.

joe-zabriskie 2018-04-25 01:11

Great idea, truly two incompatible genres lol. Title, premise and splash definitely got me interested.

I had trouble with the aiming sensitivity, and general UI usage acutally. The core gameplay would have been great if not for the crazy high sensitivity. I like the idea of getting your driver out (sniper), or putter(pistol), super funny.

I think this idea might be better served with a different aiming style. Here you spend so much time scoping in on the ground, rather than lining up a shot looking towards the goal. Don't know how you'd accomplish that, just a thought. Maybe make the ball huge? Easier to find/shoot

Overall super impressed you managed to get this all tied together. Guns felt good, player movement was solid. Great Job!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 01:26

@Listonos Thank you! We actually were able to come up with a couple fun ideas for this theme but we thought this one sounded the funniest. (I cackled the whole time i was making the menu images)

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 01:27

@Joe Zabriskie Thanks, man! As far as the gun sensitivity goes- we're actually really, really bad at shooters (like, unforgivably terrible) and had minimal frame of reference when we were trying to refine it! Several people have mentioned it though, so I will file that away for later!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 01:30

@noumenus We noticed the cursor thing too but it was too late to fix! (Foolishly we had a tabletop rpg scheduled with some friends for immediately after the submission deadline oops. We'll definitely keep that day clear for polish/bug fixes on the next dare)

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 01:34

@Team-Orange-Pop eb3947fe786d10e9.gif

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 01:37

@Beebo-Studios Unfortunately we had many floating cacti/trees because we placed them all by hand. Why did we place them all by hand? We forgot about rigidbodies and colliders and stuff and then it was too late cause Ludum Dare waits for no dev. Especially sleep deprived ones subsisting on frozen pizza. Thank you very much for the fish!

subhajit-nath 2018-04-25 04:11

FPS AND GOLF combination is hilarious. Had fun playing.

nerdytea 2018-04-25 14:17

The game was pretty fun. The only thing I can really argue about is the sensitivity.

yozamu 2018-04-25 14:37

The graphics weren't too appealing at first, but the combination is really one of the funniest I've seen so far. I'd really like to see this game with improved graphics but same mechanics, because it rocks

kpded 2018-04-25 15:16

That damn invincible ball! The mix is hilarious, best way to improve golf simulator! Graphics is quite and fits perfectly

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 16:20

@Yozamu Thanks, if people like the game enough we might re-visit it and make all the trees/cacti be stuck into the ground, I think I would stick with the low poly look, probably get the ground and guns ect.. to fit that art style as well.

@kpded I'm really happy with how absurd the mechanics turned out to be.

beelzeboss 2018-04-25 16:23

Very creative combination. Cool music. It rocks. (also the ball got stuck in a rock, but i somehow managed to get it out)

chunkybrewster 2018-04-25 16:29

I liked the different guns were like different clubs and I like using tab to be able to find the ball. I think the ball needs to have more weight to it so it's not always sliding around everywhere, should be points on the hole where that ball stays still. Also I was just guessing where the hole was, maybe so indication of what direction the hole is? Or even just like a flyover camera at the start of it to show you where the hole is in relation to where you start. And the mouse sensitivity felt a little high.

kpded 2018-04-25 18:04

@Lost Dutchman Software i know, a flamethrower can make this golf simulator even hotter

ghust1995 2018-04-25 18:25

It's awesome how your game fits in the theme so much. The genres are definitely not compatible, making this a frustrating yet hilarious and smart idea. My highest grade in theme so far, and one of the most fun I had in the jam games yet. Congrats!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 21:35

@kpded I am making a note of this right now.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-25 21:39

@Beelzeboss Thank you! Most of the music was from Kevin MacLeod- a free use composer who does a lot of different genres. He's a godsend!

@chunkybrewster Not gonna lie, we had to research both guns and clubs to come up with those names but we were laughing while we typed them out and figured that was a good sign.

@ghust1995 Thank you very much! We loved the theme and were so excited to get a concept down after it was released. We had some other funny ideas but golf + FPS seemed the most outlandish and that's how Modern Fairway 4 was born.

hankworx 2018-04-25 23:36

Haha this is such a great usage of the theme. I thoroughly enjoy the mission accomplished screen ^_^ The soundtrack fit just right. I had more fun missing the ball barely than actually hitting it. The only thing I'd change would be to remove the stamina meter for sprint. There's golfing to do, no time to stop for breath.

fitz13 2018-04-25 23:50

Looking forward to the full release that I really hope is coming for this. Would love a mini-golf course too.

Sure there's some clean-up that could be done, but the game is just so fun, I need more, asap.

Thanks for making it, obviously, I'm really excited I got to play it.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-26 00:01

@hankworx yeah we weren't sure about the stamina bar either but of course we had very little time to play test lol

@fitz13 Thank YOU for playing it!! Depending on a bunch of factors- including the overall interest here on Ludum Dare- we might continue with development to full release. We REALLY enjoyed working on this so fingers crossed!

karai17 2018-04-26 09:03

This game is absolutely hilarious! Really clever idea. I have a few gripes however:

1) The mouse sensitivity is way too high and I found it nearly impossible to aim 2) The ball rolled around too much instead of staying put. 3) No gamepad support

If these three things were addressed, this game would definitely be a top-tier entry. Great job nonetheless!

nannah 2018-04-26 13:15

Great idea! It was very difficult for me to shot a ball. Lack of colliders and flying trees were surprising.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-26 15:07

@Karai17 Thank you! Time management and scope were our biggest hurdles in this Dare (which was our first). Going through this again, we'd definitely place those things on a higher priority.

@Nannah Thank you very much! We had a couple minor crises with the models and placed many of them by hand which is why some of them are mysteriously floating haha.

phil-busuttil 2018-04-27 12:37

Found the game a little dull as I spent the time just nudging a ball along through the desert, but the concept was really great. Ball needed a lot more friction though, as it spent the whole time rolling around.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-27 12:45

@Phil-Busuttil Ball movement is definitely on our list of improvements if we ultimately decide to go forward with this. Thanks for playing!

notpresident35 2018-04-27 14:02

Good job! I love the idea! It's hilarious shooting a golf ball into a hole. It fits the theme very well. However, I do wish you had made your own art, FPS system, and/or music. Using some assets is okay, but this is too many, especially since the FPS asset you used is old and rather garbage to play. I also wish you made the player faster. You spend most of your time chasing the ball as it rolls back down the hill than you spend actually playing the game.

Good job, and good luck!

dovakla 2018-04-27 22:19

Great game! It could benefit from a little more polish, but it's already pretty fun to shoot balls into the big hole. The music is an excellent choice.

I wish the player was faster (you don't need to limit sprint if it's just a golf game) and the ball does need more friction. It'd also be good if the player could shoot the ball upwards more.

Unfortunately the mouse doesn't get unlocked in the menus and I couldn't figure out how to play the desert hole.

sharks 2018-04-27 22:55

This is sooo fun! I will probably play this OVER AND OVER!

amour-du-pain 2018-04-27 22:55

Haha that's an original way to use the theme, well done !

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-27 23:03

@notpresident35 @Dovakla @Sharks @Amour-Du-Pain Thank you so much!

sharks 2018-04-27 23:22

@Lost Dutchman Software When hitting 'esc' on the first scene, you forgot to unhide the mouse and thus cannot click on the buttons in the menu :/

estacaomarte 2018-04-27 23:38

Well done! :) Really enjoying every games from this event. Each one is so unique XD

2018-04-28 17:21

Cool idea, but I didn't have much fun with it because aiming is way too hard.

It seemed like small mouse movements didn't even move the gun at all, and then when the crosshairs finally did move, they'd go right past the ball. I ended up aiming by walking instead of pointing the gun.

Also, limiting sprint is just an annoyance in this game.

niterich 2018-04-28 20:24

I like the concept and the presentation (especially since it's one of the few 3D Unity games that runs well on my old laptop, so thank you for that!), but I do have some qualms that a lot of other people mentioned: the fact the ball has too little friction, the course is randomly selected each time, the stamina bar is mostly redundant, the mouse sensitivity isn't adjustable, etc.

Maybe it's just me, but I felt there wasn't enough modern warfare flair to it. I was expecting burned-out buildings, strewn rubble, some angry radio chatter, a downed helicopter serving as the windmill trap, things like that. I think that would set it above a golf game with guns in it and into a full-fledged modern military golf game, if that makes sense.

That said, the concept is hilarious and the game was really fun to play!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-29 01:33

@niterich thanks for playing and commenting! While we only had a few hours to really conceptualize MF4, we both decided that keeping the genres more disparate in menus and level design was funnier than playing a full FPS with a golf ball for a target. Personally, i think keeping things a little jarring like that adds to the humor but I can absolutely see the appeal in a full FPS style get up with a golf mechanic (it's just as outlandish, really).

Also thanks for the feedback on the other points as well! If we decide to push MF4 to a full release we'll definitely work on refining those things!

cristiano-m-garcia 2018-04-29 02:17

I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.

I hope you continue with the project.

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/witchs-escape

wildcard 2018-04-29 16:44

original idea and good taste in music! If there was an option for sensitivity I unfortunately missed it. A lot of fun albeit frustating at times, well done!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-29 17:02

@wildcard No option for the sensitivity, nether of us actually play FPS games so we didn't know that was an issue. We both had trouble hitting the ball while play testing but we thought that was just because we sucked at FPS games :)

After the judging is over I plan to fix that.

anudin 2018-04-30 17:49

Could be improved: - Preciser hitboxes for the ball - General direction in which to shoot - Louder sound effects compared to the music - Mouse is much too fast

Good: - FPS mechanics work nice, animations are smooth and even weapon customization!

The basic concept is good and the shooter mechanics are well implemented however the golf part can be improved.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-04-30 23:31

@Anudin Thank you for playing and for the feedback, After the judging is over we will be making a few improvements, and if the game is popular enough we may re-visit the idea and make it into a full game.

mic-matrix91 2018-05-01 10:00

Cool game! Could be adjusted mouse speed and ball hit precision, despite that funny game. Good work!

kingofwhawha 2018-05-01 17:45

This game is hilarious haha. The music fits so well I love it! I just got to a point where I didn't care about the strikes anymore and started furiously shooting at the ball with the assault rifle. One improvement I would suggest is to provide a mouse sensitivity option. The sensitivity was wayyyyy too high on my PC I started questioning the reality of my life. But still, this game is so much fun. Good job!

theamazingb 2018-05-01 17:56

Really cool concept. Developed further this would be a fun game. I wanted enemies to shoot at as well!! It's really hard to hit the ball once it's in the rough. Maybe an option to reset it to the fairway at the cost of a stroke? It would be nice to have some sort of indicator as to where the green was

joemid 2018-05-02 02:26

First game was like this- Screen Shot 2018-05-01 at 9.18.34 PM.png But, the second game was like this- Screen Shot 2018-05-01 at 9.22.26 PM.png I loved this concept from the moment I saw the title. I think you delivered. Fantastic use of the theme to produce a fun experience. I play in the rough! Thanks for the game!.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-02 03:16

@joemid You became the ball to overcome the ball!

diego-manarim 2018-05-03 10:24

Very fun game, I really enjoyed the music and all idea of it!

I do not know if you hate or love golf, but if you are interested in a game in production that has the mechanics of mini-golf: https://crostegi.itch.io/sling-turtle

themonsterfromthedeep 2018-05-03 21:35

This was really fun. Simple, absurd concept; great execution. I think the only improvement, gameplay-wise, I can think of is adding some sort of indicator of your goal, because I'm not entirely sure where it is in the desert map.

Also, a bug: On my first play-through, the gun that said "press 2" and the gun that said "press 3" were switched -- pressing 3 switched to the "press 2" one and vice-versa. I don't know if this just has to do with the order they are picked up -- my second play-through (of the same map) had them in the right spots.

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-04 02:27

@Diego-Manarim I hate golf but I really like a few mini golf games. Been playing a lot of Desert Golf lately and Kirby's Dreamcourse is one of my favorite games. We left you a review on itch.io

@TheMonsterFromTheDeep I thought the guns were always assigned the same number but it is based on the order in which they are picked up. I'll make sure to change the wording on those. Thanks for catching that.

dignifiedweb 2018-05-07 20:05

Nice game, thanks for trying our "Pet Food" game!

mr-chocolatesalmon 2018-05-08 04:38

Tchaikovsky's music, with complete lack of auto-aim, with almost impossible to hit ball, with ending up falling into the hole that I think the ball was supposed to go in = an awesome game. Good job

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-08 15:36

@mr-chocolatesalmon it was either Tchaikovsky or that really famous refrain from non piu andrai and it was a REALLY tough choice!

ribout-horace 2018-05-08 22:03

Golf with guns ? Stealer of idea ! But yours style was a little different ! It's fun to see someone with the exact same idea and how we set thing differently (like changing weapon by scrolling or button for use , while it's one a table. A lot of people for our game didn't knew they're were other weapons )

peachtreeoath 2018-05-09 04:25

Pretty hilarious as you go into triple digit strokes and you just don't even care anymore. One twist you can maybe do is lower the gravity and make the ball pop up more. To be able to shoot the ball midair would add a bit more flair to it rather than just be 'your clubs are bullets'. Still, it was a fun romp regardless with a decent amount of tension between ammo usage and that damn ball rolling away!

ratherjolly 2018-05-09 06:12

Love the look and feel of this game. The audio implementation alone would had me coming back to play again. Great job! Keep it up!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-10 03:32

@kpded Flame Thrower has been added to post Jam version, its in the giant skull behind the player starting position on the desert location. We named it after you

Capture.PNG

luckyfeathers 2018-05-10 19:20

Note: I only played the Jam version.

Really cool game. Hilarious concept, and the music is very fitting even though it's not made by you. The shooting feels awesome. There's proper recoil, and each weapon feels unique. You two are obviously quite good game developers. Yet, there are some design decisions I simply don't understand.

First of all, the mouse sensitivity is incredibly high. I think I moved my mouse a total of 2 cm the entire playthrough. Secondly, why can't I reload? I suppose it's not really necessary because there are no enemies, but when I blast the ball away and know I won't be shooting for a couple of seconds, it's a natural response to reload the gun. Thirdly, why does the ball just keep rolling forever? Just simply add some friction (it's called drag in Unity) to the ball. Fourth! The ball gets lost easily, and you added a way for me to track it, but why do I not get any indicator showing me where the hole is? I had to run around for a whole minute before I found out where the ball was supposed to go. Just add a simple arrow on the canvas which you rotate towards the hole. Fifthly, the ball is too difficult to hit. Make it a bit bigger. Especially with the sniper I felt like I hit the ball but nothing happened. Are you sure the collider matches the 3D model? And lastly, the text was way too small on my monitor. I play on a 1440p monitor, and everything was tiny. If you go to your canvas and change from "constant pixel size" to "scale with screen size" you won't have this issue.

Anyway, the game is really cool, but there are some annoying flaws that make the game fall through a bit. If you make a note of these flaws and improve next jam I'm sure your next one will be amazing. Good luck! :)

kpded 2018-05-10 19:45

@lost-dutchman-software WOW, guys! That is awesome  thank you so much! Everything becomes better with flamethrower. Before this moment there was just me named after me

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-10 23:33

@LuckyFeathers Thank you for playing! You made an awesome 4X game in this time frame so saying we ran out of time sounds lame but well, we did. Thank you for the advice about screen size scaling, we will definitely be doing that in our other games.

I will say that the ball always moving was a conscious decision. I accidentally forgot to add drag and while play testing thought it was fun/funny that the ball was basically avoiding me, especially in the rough where it is like your trying to hit a spy ball in the grass. I added drag and though the game felt boring, its too easy to hit a stationary ball and the force applied to the ball is straight so its not hard to get t to go where you want. In the post jam version I left the lack of drag so the ball continues to be evasive.

blinkenlights 2018-05-12 13:23

I fell in a hole! XD Well done, not my sport though, aiming was really hard, especially since the ball didn't stop rolling (that it did very well though). The classical music in the background made it a very relaxing and enjoying experience, well done!

lost-dutchman-software 2018-05-12 19:32

@Blinkenlights lol I should probably put some kind of invisible wall around the hole to keep players from falling in. Or make the hole smaller but then it would be way to hard to get the ball in it. Glad you enjoyed our game :)

kr4ft3r 2018-05-12 22:57

Nice, a combination of genres and something everyone would like to do irl. Each music track gives a different tone to the game, each feels like there is a different background story behind what is going on. Switching "tilesets" between restarts is a nice touch. I went for noscope rifle as the most attractive option, and tried all others, but it is only with AK that I managed to win. This has a lot to do with the fact that there is no invert mouse option, please add invert Y option when making FPS, the option exists in all 3rd/1st person games because people who use it find it very hard to aim without it (btw it should only invert mouse look and nothing else). Idea is brilliant and the implementation good enough to keep me busy for 30 minutes (I played jam version). Very nice and relaxing entry.

mufinmcflufin 2018-05-13 05:05

Very impressive title. Graphics, mechanics, weapon detail, audio effects, ammo, scope, weapon swapping, all of it very impressive. The game itself got fairly boring fairly quickly.

I can understand trying to remain faithful to the shooter genre, however I feel like this game could have benefited from straying from the CoD formula in a few regards: limited ammo, stamina limiting sprinting, and pretty much all of the automatic weapons.

f1krazy 2018-05-14 20:10

Man, I left it too long to play this. Great fun. The frustration (and the incompatibility) comes from how small of a target the golf ball is, and how it never stops rolling but instead keeps following the terrain and veering off in this or that direction. But that just makes it all the most satisfying when you finally nail the sucker, especially if it's in time with the music. I think my final score was 128, partly because I kept going full-auto on it with the FAL before realising it was more efficient to actually aim.

I love the function that highlights where the ball is, very handy for when it goes flying off after a drive. Only thing I would really recommend is a faster running speed, or maybe a sprint option, to let you catch up to it faster. Very enjoyable, though! Good work!

This game is super creative and looks really good too (I know graphics wasn't a rating though).

This is definitely a perfect game for the theme and it was pulled off perfectly :)

@Sokuaisushi Thanks, we didn't make the art assets so I opted out of Graphics. We did place them all in the terrain by hand which is why the jam version has do many floating plants, and unseen by players but many subterranean flowers ;)

I'm glad you liked the look of it.

@Lost-Dutchman-Software That makes a lot of sense! The graphics you found fit the game great nonetheless. I can't wait to see your next Ludlum Dare entry :)

Also that's pretty funny, as we had floating towers pretty much right up until the due date when I realized the towers weren't on the ground!

Sorry for the double post.

Funny take on the theme! I liked the gun animations and aiming down sights. It fit the theme perfectly, but was very jarring at the same time.

This could actually be "fun" if the golf balls were bigger and the guns were less realistic, more arcadey, but as-is, it's up there with "Modern Bowlfare" by @derek-wilson and "COD of Duty" http://rjevans.net/post/41629208761/cod-of-duty-the-premier-first-person-shooting
