My Dear Battery by Diego Manarim 2017-08-02T23:38:43Z
It's very cool, I've enjoyed the music and sounds, and liked the mechanics of clicking to defend and avoid clicking on the batteries.
Congratulations for the game!!

Congratulations for the game!!
Awesome game!!!
The graphics are minimalist and very cool. It reminded me of Atari. The snake sprites also reminds me of Pitfall, from Atari. I liked the effect on the effigy when it couldn't move on the direction wanted.
The music fitted very well with the game, and the commands are simple and easy to learn and use.
The challenges are very good, I really liked the idea and mechanics of the game. It reminded me a lot of 2048. The game started with a very easy stage at the beggining for learning, and this is great, mainly because we move 3 effigies.
I think if you put more easy stages at the begging, to increase the difficulty more progressively, you could easily put it for sale on platforms like Steam. I think that minimalist puzzles have a good niche on Steam.
Congratulations for the game!!! Wish you all the best with your works!!!
Thanks @vimlark, we're glad that you liked it!!!
We'll look at the bugs that you said and upload another version of the game when fixed, to keep the Ludum Dare version for voting.
Thanks a lot for you feedback!!
@geckoo1337, Thanks for the feedback!! About the movements, you're saying about the walking and jump, or about the "stick on walls" action, or both? We're glad that you liked it!! We're planning to update the game with a web version, to fix the bugs. =]
Thanks a lot @myfriendtames !! We're glad that you enjoyed it! I didn't know this game, I googled it and found it cool! I liked the mechanic of the slime having a malleable body.
We're glad that you liked the idea @brazmogu !! And thanks a lot for the thorough feedback! We'll take notes and consider them in the next updates. =]
Thanks for the feedback @ajayajayaj , we're glad that you enjoyed the game!! We'll take a look on what we can do about the stick-on-wall mechanic, to find a way to turn it more easy and comfortable to use. =]
Awesome entry!!!
I really liked the idea of launching the slime while loosing mass. I share the opinion of the others, I caught myself trying over and over again after losing. The musics and SFX are great, and the art too! I liked the theme's visual, with the slime and the dungeon. It was an excellent idea putting a checkpoint. It helps a lot the game to be not too punishable.
The mechanics are good. But I had a lot of trouble calculating the power to throw the slime. The difference between maximum and medium power could be more proportional.
After throwing the slime, there is a bug that allows you to throw it again in mid-air. When doing this, it's not possible to launch the slime again after respawning. I played the Windows version.
In overall, it's a very cool game!! I had a lot of fun with it! Congratulations to all the team for the entry!!
This game is very cool!!! It fits the theme very well!!
It's nice to see a board game in Ludum Dare. I found the mechanics fantastics. The game is simple, but if played with strategy, it can be very complex. The AI is challengeble. If you don't know the mechanics, you can't win; but if you do know, it's not hardcore and the challenge is very good.
An improvement suggestion is to remove the screen blur effect while clicking on a tile, and putting the action options on the top-right of the screen. Doing this, we'll be able to see the board, and will help on taking decisions.
The game is amazing, congratulations to the team!!
I loved the graphics, I found them very well polished for the jam, and the snowballs are very charismatic!! I Liked a lot the expressions on them!
The music fit well with the snow theme. And the idea of the game fit very well with the Ludum Dare's theme!
I liked the mechanics, they're fluid and easy to use. I had some problems when jumping at the corners of platforms, where the characters stopped and couldn't jump. I had to split or go back and try to jump again.
The camera was very intuitive, It foccused very well on the character that I was moving.
It's an amazing game!!! Congratulations!!
Awesome game!!
The idea is excellent! I liked a lot mixing a shooter with trading card game. Some levels I couldn't beat with the current deck, so changing it was essencially, and I found it very cool.
I loved the musics, mainly the stages one!
The graphics are simple and very good. I had no problem identifying what each enemy was.
The gameplay is OK. The commands were woking very fine, but I felt unconfortable with the movement velocity of the character. Perhaps it could be a little slower. I missed an autofire too. It was unconfortable for keep clicking to fire, specially when trying to beat a level various times.
Congratulations to the team for the game!! I've had a lot of fun playing it, and I will be looking foward in playing again on future updates!
@Bib Thank you very much! We're glad to know that you liked the character and his looks! =D
@Mr.MadCat Thanks a lot for the feedback! It's good to know that we succeeded in showing the emotions on the character!
@TheMonsterFromTheDeep Good observation about QWERTY keyboards, typing always with the right hand can be really tiring. I liked a lot the idea of typing some words to create a checkpoint. We'll take that in consideration for further updates! =] Thanks a lot for your thorough feedback, we're happy to know that you liked the mix of the chosen genres!
