Unfortunately the link to the web version is not working
Thanks for letting me know, I believe the web version is now working.
Page now working on itch.io :)
It's a little too easy to start off with - clicking mechanics are hard to get challenging, as hand-eye co-ordination is something a lot of gamers have plenty of ;) Aside from that, it's a good use of the theme, and a clever mechanic in wanting to allow the batteries to hit you, rather than clicking them.
Some charming programmer art, but I'd recommend against the squiggle background :)
Good entry, congrats!
Fun little game with cute programmer art
It was a piece of cake during the first minute, then after the first minute the difficulty level was turned up 1000% :fearful:
Simple fun game! Enjoyed the sound of popping the enemies :P would've like some more variation and it suddenly becomes REALLY hard.
Many thanks for your comments, I'm really happy about it! ^^
Congratulations on the game, very fun and original!
It's very cool, I've enjoyed the music and sounds, and liked the mechanics of clicking to defend and avoid clicking on the batteries.
Congratulations for the game!!
congratulations for the game, nice programmer art
Well done, mate!
Pretty decent game well done music and sound. For me i do not realy like these clicker games. What i did notice that (for me) it started at a decent speed but then suddenly it became impossible i feel that it could have gone a bit more slower (i mean it went from no mine git even close to me to i need 10 mouses to click them all in 1 second flat) :).
That escalated quickly. after nearly 50 seconds, the enemy count goes kaboom. I still don't whether I should shoot the power items or not. Overall, it was a fun 50 secs + some more time of screaming for my life.
EDIT: I didn't read the commands before playing, now I know what I should do to the power items.
A reflex-type clicking game, eh? It's nice, not many secrets on how to play, which makes it really accessible. Nice effort on the graphics and animations and sounds too, the soundtrack sounded a bit strange the first time I heard, but it does fit the mood of the game.
I do believe two things, though: - The game plays better on mobile/touch screens than on desktop; - The motive I wrote the topic above is that after roughly a minute on playing the game, difficulty gets an increase of 500%, which makes it really unbalanced, specially for a game that looks a bit on the casual side;
It's a great effort in all areas, nice entry, but needs balancing! ;)
Good luck there!
A simple little clicking game, works for me! The sound and graphics mesh well together, but I think I just crave something more from the gameplay. I lasted 60 seconds, at which point there were so many enemies on screen that I dropped from near 100% to 0 in just a few seconds, and I think a little more ramping of variety instead of pure difficulty would do well for this game. Thanks for building this and submitting it to the jam!
Like others have said, the difficulty ramp is pretty insane - but that's just a matter of play-testing and balancing.
I love the art for the little character dude. The music was great too. I feel like the range around which the enemies were considered to have hit you was larger than I expected. Was ultimately fun though, good job! :)
Thank you very much, I am very happy to have played my game and give me your opinions, I now with the end of Jam I intend to correct the level of difficulty, so that at least it becomes a fun game. :D
