I'm not very good at this game, I've only made it into round 2, but I really enjoyed it! The music, graphics and SFX all work together really well! I think I would have liked the shots to go a little further or the ship to move a little faster since there's a lot of repositioning, but doesn't really hurt the fun at all.

Really nice - my favourite so far! Works really well with clever mechanics - great work.
Really enjoyable game! The music and artwork go really well together in my opinion. Maybe the push-bullets and the pull-bullets could be of a different colour (or shape) so you won't get confused. I would be nice if the bullets go further as well. Also, it might be really cool if each bullet has different colours and only matching colour can interact with the symbol. Anyways, Good job!
That was a really cool game - the levels and waves were really well thought out, plus the core mechanic was awesome - great job!

Super great entry here! Great idea, fun gameplay, and scratches that puzzle itch. Way to make these genres work together. Game really kicked my butt as I started progressing.
Fun stuff!
Thanks everyone for your feedbacks. Glad you like the idea!
@ramon15749 You're right, we'll change the shape of the pull bullets in a postjam version for more readability. For the further/matching colours bullets, it could be a power up or a special game mode.

That is a cool idea for a game. Though I didn't really get what was the point in the blue shots... ((Blue enemies were pretty scary though))
I really liked this one, lost of fun, very challenging and rewarding feeling. good sound and graphics, smooth controls nice challenges and slowly adds in difficulty definitely one of my favor games so far.
Gameplay is great and matches the topic! Gamewouldbe gameplaywisebetter with a deathsond. Its nitpcky but after a deaht, it took me some time to realse it

Really great game here. I like how you give player a good "tutorial" at each level to know about new mechanics that introduce at that level. This game also have very good variance so it don't make me feel bored. Great job!
Loved it! Great concept, level design, and potential to make all kinds of interesting ship/puzzle geometries. Graphics and audio fit the concept.

Really innovative- the first game I've come across that is more than a gimmick. Looking forward to post-jam progress!
Great game, I really liked playing it. Keeps you engaged till the end

Nice game :) I really liked the way you introduced new elements to the player
This is awesome! It has probably the best use of the theme I've seen. It's also horribly difficult, but I did eventually manage to beat it after much cursing. Easier difficulty options could include more life or a longer shooting range.
This game is really polished and really fun.
Wow! Awesome game! Mechanics are simple to understand and very fun, graphics are superfitting and music is great as well! Also it mixes completely well "Puzzles" and "Shoot em up"!
I got stuck at level 5, but I feel that the challenge curve is also spot on!
Awesome work! Keep it up! :)
Nice gameplay and puzzles. Controls feel good. This game hits the right spot with the difficulty. The game tries to teach the player in a 'learn as you go' style and manages this quite well in my opinion. Really good game! Good job!

Very cool game ! I liked it , especially music like in retro games. Also game-controls very hard.

I like the style, good job
I loved the concept and gameplay, top notch! I did noticed some problems with lining up with the thing you wanted to shoot. Sometimes I'd appear to be lined up with one and shoot the one next to it. I did like how if you hit the thing with the wrong beam, but there was only one place to go, it still moved. I also would have liked a way to distinguish between push and pull beams visually.

I really like the graphics, they are simple but very effective. The gameplay is very fun and intuitive, also very polished. I think that would be good if the shape of the bullets in some way represented what they do, but I know that it is not something easy to come up.

Even though I cannot vote you for that: you picked a nice song there!
I really liked the game! It fuses both genres quite perfectly, and it felt just right playing through it (until I got killed often :D) I would just have liked that the pull movement arrow would be reversed, so I can differentiate pull and push better. Nevertheless, quite a strong game for, at the very least, theme rankings! Congrats!
This is a pretty cool concept and it was fun to play! I also love your art style.
Wow! This is probably the most fully-realized game I've played yet for LD41! Really impressive. Great teaching design, difficulty ramp, etc. Really enjoyed it.
Quel gameplay impécable, et ça ma permis de découvrir les rêgles du jeu sans tutorial, pendant que je jouais. C'est comme ça que j'aime découvrir les jeux.

I love the graphical style. Bullets could use color differentiation though.
A big thank you to everyone for your positive and constructive feedbacks. It really helps us to build a better game.
@ramon15749 @zeu31 @maesk @maloy-quinn => We changed the color of the default bullet to match with the color of the ship. So it'll be easier to make the difference between the push and the pull bullets. Hope it'll help you.
@fabian-pohl => In fact there's already a death sound, but it's not loud enough. We'll change that!
@nardandas => I'll try to enlarge the triggers to avoid these little issues.
Cheers!

The game is really good. The only problems for months is the time of comprehension of the rules, it could be improved by modifying the situations presented at the beginning. To take them one by one, I'm not talking about doing an explicit tutorial, I do not think it's really needed, just added the mechanics one after the other with low difficulty level and can solution .
good job.
I thought the rules were simple enough as they were, the description sort of explains everything..
This was good, but aesthetically (and for clarity sakes) I wish it had more contrast between the colors and background/foreground layers.
Cool idea and good execution, although when there are only two spots both a push or pull bullet works!

Very cool game mechanics, I like the graphics style with the sort-of post-glow effect. Having some more explanation what different types of bullets do would probably good, but all in all the game is already in a pretty neat and polished state!
Fantastic level design and puzzles. Good job! Cool game!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.

By far the most polished and enjoyable game I've played this LD. Great job. :D
Really enjoyed the combination of themes you picked.

Great! Just voted it! May you try and vote my game?(RTS+FPS) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/rts-shooting
Awesome. The two genres went really together! Also had a arcade-style feel to it, which I think you captured fairly well. Good job
Awesome game! The difficulty curve is so good I can't believe this was made in a game jam!
The aesthetics in general combine pretty well with the gameplay. Reminds me of games like Super Hexagon and Geometry Wars. Congrats!
