I liked how the flashing lights looked on the houses. It was fun moving with the beat but it was hard to get away from the other characters once they started coming after you. Nice work!

Cute and fun! great graphics and loved the use of sound!
I didn't get what is my goal. Is there a way to win the game?
@-FA- There is no end goal or win condition, just try to start as many parties as you can while more police keeps coming.
Makes my chrome instance crash, could not make it to the game :/
@kilosaurus Sorry about that, the WebGL thing probably needs a lot of juice as the game isn't optimized and there are a lot of dynamic lighting going on. The downloadable version should run a bit better.
Yeah, the chrome message is "WebGL context lost, please reload the page". I tried it in Firefox and it worked with 60 FPS, although it took a long time to load after clicking play.
Cool idea and good execution! Worked well for me in Safari.
Nice audiovisuals and good concept, but i think that the game could use some scoreboard.
Pretty lights! I downloaded the windows binary but it didn't fit on my 1920x1080 screen. Could start the game anyway. When playing I kept getting stuck on doors and corners. Not sure if that was because of the screen issue or if I was bad at the game. Got some partying done anyways. Good job!
haha! +1 on the Barcelona reference :)
Having difficulty accessing the web version - just a heads up!
Pushed an update that should perform better, but sadly still not working on Chrome for Windows.
Hilarious concept!
I really enjoyed the game (especially because of the beat and the awkward layer of running from the police to start parties at Barcelona hahaha). The way the game adds speed to the music is also really cool! I just wish I had a way of getting more information about the policeman pattern, instead of sometimes just doing some risk random moves and pray not to get busted.
Overall it is a very fun game, keep up the job :)
Fun game, I like the visual and rhythm feel of it, kinda hard as well. And here is 20th vote for you!
Interesting game! I like the combo of visuals, audio and gameplay.
Nice game, took me a while to understand what I need to do. Visuals are very nice and the audio blends in perfectly, however, I don't really see the objective I am trying to achieve. Other than that, it's a very nice game ^^
Took a really long time to load, I thought it might have been broken, but eventually it did and I really liked your concept!
I really liked the visuals in this game, but I felt the police AI were too hard to avoid
very funny. I really liked the use of lighting. and yes, it's a little hard :P
I got quite confused by the controls when I walked into the corners of buildings. I was trying to turn 90 degrees after moving into the corners but just kept turning back on myself.
Nice look and mood.
It took me a while to figure out the controls. I think it could be a bit more interesting with a normal hold down to move control scheme rather than just switching directions. That could also allow for a more complex map layout.
Cops didn't walk into buildings, which meant I could exploit their AI by walking back and forth inside until they left.
Like everyone else, I though the lighting effects were cool.
This is so fun! I love the music and lighting.
The world's colors and the party effect are pretty! I had fun, especially at the end when narrowly outrunning police. I started 8 or 9 parties on my third try. I feel like some more depth to the mechanics would make the game better, or maybe being able to see further ahead, and having doors be clearly marked, so you can be more strategic about your path. It's short and sweet as it is though!
I'm from Barcelona myself and I hate tourist that party in their flats all week, and I still like the game XD I think your speed movement should be a tad faster compared to police, once they are in your tale there is no way to shake them of
I like the booming baseline effects as well as the amount of rave lighting. I kind of wish that the web version was more playable, I tried it on two PCs and two web browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and the tab crashes after the game loads but before the music kicks in.
I also found it frustrating at how easily you can walk into walls, causing you to do a U-turn right into the cops.
really like what you did with the Barcelona city grid there :D also the bass was intense! sweet little rhythm game
It is a solid game, especially considering that it was your first time writing music and shaders.
Really cool idea, I really like how the player only moves every beat.
Very colourful and fun, and I really liked the music. It was a bit unexpected for me that you could actually hide in the houses from the police, and also once they are on your tail on the streets they seem to never lose you. It would be great also if there was a scoring system, after a few houses I kind of lost interest a bit, but I can tell that with just a few more little hooks I would be compulsively trying to get every house in the grid hopping!
Thanks! The weird wall moves were originally added as punishment for taking wrong turns, and then turned out it can also help escape the police in stickier situations. Probably could use some tuning though :)
