LD25 — You are the Villain

GLORPLAX III by Pacifist Games 2012-12-18T12:50:00

After losing for a few times it starts to be annoying, but I kept playing mainly for the moans of Glorplax. Input delay is one hell of both annoyance and challenge. The game isn't much, but I can't say I wasn't satisfied with beating it.

Copyright Criminal by BNeutral 2012-12-17T06:12:00

Short and fun. The controls are bit confusing at first, but it takes a try or two and you're all set. I like the graphics and the humour.

Tourist Trap by HeyChinaski 2012-12-18T02:20:00

Really nice idea! The graphics are really nice and the music is fitting. Definitely fun.

Hunt by someone 2012-12-17T17:04:00

I have a deep sentiment for tactical games (mostly because of X-COM), so I really enjoyed this one. There are a few bugs and the game lacks whatever statistics or ui one would expect. Also, the music is way to silent (had to turn my speakers almost to the max). But still, overall it is quite enjoyable.

TWIRL - THE HAIRY HEIST by mtrc 2013-01-08T00:44:00

Playing as a moustache... brilliant.

StickThief by Zaxuhe 2012-12-18T00:33:00

Hey, nice job! I liked the music and the graphics. The controls could use some work (like being able to hold keys) and people would be more of a challenge if they had some patrol routes, instead of just walking from side to side - but it's quite enjoyable overall.

Captain Torrent by sev_inf 2012-12-18T02:49:00

I laughed out loud seeing this. Great, humorous idea. The gameplay itself wasn't anything special, but the sheer fun of being Captain Torrent made it definitely worth the time.

I will always love you... do I? by Back to Browse Entries 2012-12-17T16:54:00

It takes quite a long time for the first pickups to appear, but that aside, it is a very nice little game. I really liked the music. All together, it gives a very nice, warm feel.

Sheep Muncher by CptJecht 2012-12-18T14:56:00

Movement speed is so slow I almost fell asleep. Also, my game ended when the sheep respawned in the fenced pen, as I could not get inside.

Interfection by spx 2012-12-18T15:02:00

Interesting idea. The balance is quite off, to it takes time to get some results. Overall, nice entry.

Bad Kitty by aare 2012-12-18T00:52:00

Absolutely lovable! I fell in love with the graphics.

FumbleAttack by TuxedoFish 2012-12-17T17:24:00

"YOU ran it from .... the command line >;O.. sweet ;D"
Hell yeah terminal. The idea is quite nice, so are the graphics. Crashes when losing, but overall, it's not bad.

We Are Promoted Toknight by EatenAlive3 2012-12-18T02:02:00

Apart from no guards or whatever enemies one could imagine in a game like this, it is really pleasant to play.

Missile Bombardment by MagmaLemur 2012-12-18T00:13:00

Simple, yet very enjoyable. With some nice sound and a higher difficulty, this would be a very good game to spend a few minutes every now and then.

Sword Beats Vampire by Certainty 2012-12-18T02:28:00

Really nice! The gameplay is very simple and quite enjoyable. I really like the graphics, they certainly took some sweet time. Music is fine too. Although I'd say movement speed is far too slow, it's getting tedious watching your character slowly strolling across the screen.

Decommissioner by Crowbeak 2012-12-17T05:36:00

Quite nice. A shame it's so short (or hell, maybe I did something wrong?), but overall, leaves a good impression. The theme doesn't become apparent until the very ending, but it strikes hard and gives this dystopian feel that I so much enjoy.

Evil Foot Race For Kittens by AxeTheory 2012-12-18T00:43:00

I like the race concept, brings back memories of old games. The controls were bit hard to grasp at first. The audio is simple, yet very fitting. Good work on the balance, it took a few tries to win.

Clowns Vs. Bunnies by angela 2012-12-17T05:46:00

Took me some time to figure out how to place a clown, but generally it's okay. Not much to look at, but hey, it works! (Well, apart from audio, at least for me).

The goat that ate Christmas by lando walters 2012-12-18T01:45:00

Very nice! With the amount of robots wandering about, bullets flying and running speed, this is just total mayhem. And mayhem is fun. Loading time could definitely use some work, though. And personally I'd made it a bit harder - I think it would be even more enjoyable if a single playthrough was shorter, thus allowing to have more chances at the high score in the same amount of time.

Colorful by suve 2012-12-22T12:41:00

Frankly, I personally find it too easy. :P

Colorful by suve 2012-12-22T13:18:00

I mean like, come on, this isn't even near being Nintendo Hard.

Minion Master by h8urf8 2012-12-18T13:20:00

Is there any winning condition? Cause I brought all the villages down to 0 points and nothing happened. Could also use some sound effects when displaying messages. Other than that, quite cool.

Burglar by Manuel777 2012-12-17T06:01:00

The graphics, although nice, are poorly contrasted and it's often hard to distinguish between things. Game crashes upon 'dying' for the second time, sometimes it's able to get stuck in the floor. Overall, I'd say it's quite pleasant.

Sixxy the Puppy by vandriver 2012-12-18T01:28:00

Awesome! Although I must say that only after reading the comments did I realize that running away from mother was the game core - I thought it was about wreaking as much havoc, without angering mommy, as possible. The pixart graphics are really nice.

Oh noes! The goverment!(placeglder) by petterroea 2013-01-08T00:52:00

Too little interaction!

The Anti-Santa by bomblol 2013-01-08T01:03:00

Funny and silly; shame it's so short.

Green War by MDK_Marshal 2013-01-08T01:49:00

Don't let the seemingly unsophisticated simplicity fool you, this one is addictively fun.

Trapped in Paradice by Exentity 2013-01-07T20:47:00

Small, simple, and quite enjoyable. Shame there was no sound (at least on my pc).

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-09-01T10:58:00

Brilliant. Could use some more polish, but it's still a useful tool - and fun to use, too!

Connected Elemental World by humpback studios 2014-08-27T20:42:00

Interesting idea, although it would be much more fun if it had some nice graphics (like, say, animated models of elements in stock) and the element table could be displayed inside the game. Not really a game, but a very nice idea for an edutainment application.

My shmup where bullets change directions by lazyCrab 2014-08-27T20:44:00

Linux binary is 64-bit, so if you're running a 32-bit system like me, you're out of luck unless you try building from source.

Gravity Beams & Evaporating Stars: The Game by dextero 2014-09-05T09:17:00

Controls are hard, but the gameplay is very enjoyable. Needs some more polish - it's possible to move outside the screen and there's no negative point limit - but other than that, it's a very nice, complete and pleasant entry.

The Great Black by Cryovat 2014-08-28T08:34:00

Needs a bit of grinding between two planets at start, but gets pretty fun after that. Could use a warning when one's about to their last fuel on a trip to a planet that doesn't sell fuel. But other than that, a really cool entry.

Biotope by egos 2014-08-28T10:20:00

The mechanics are really hard to grasp at first, but once you get an idea of what's going on, it gets real fun and hard to stop. The game is very random, which can be both annoying, and fun, as you can play many times and have much different results.

Escape This Place by Demorro 2014-08-28T08:54:00

Quite fun. The collision boxes are bit too large and it's easy to die, and the music gets repetitive quite soon. But other than that, it's a really nice and fun entry. The graphic style is interesting and pleasant to the eye.

Rocket Pizza Delivery by Felix the Katz 2014-08-28T10:43:00

The audio and graphics are fine, but unfortunately the gameplay gets repetitive and boring really quick. But I must say, I loved the "deliver to Null planet" message after finishing a level. ;)

Hello Worlds by dustyroom 2014-08-28T08:43:00

Very nice and simple idea. The graphics and music are very polished and fit well with the game. The difficulty was okay for me - not too hard, but still posing a challange. Needs more levels! Very fun, ends too quick. :)

Buddinge by rhmoller 2014-08-28T09:00:00

The steering is hard as hell, but that only adds to the retro climate of this game. I especially loved the random trucks getting tangled in the cable. A very fine and fun entry.

Dimension Dungeon by robotron 2014-09-01T10:34:00

The idea is okay, although the game lacks polish. It is possible to walk outside the map, collecting chests isn't required to grab the exit, and apart from running around times and times again there's no way to tell where is the exit. With some extra work, it could be quite fun.

Space-Butterflies by Puffi 2014-08-27T20:45:00

Sorry, Linux, but 32-bit.

LD42 — Running out of space

PistonBreak by Gipzo 2018-08-17T19:31:20Z

Great little game! Very interesting gameplay idea. Just a shame there's so few levels. Also the menus are partly obscured by the title if you run the game in low resolution (I used 1280x800).

Dish It Out by recursor 2018-08-22T00:13:47Z

A neat little entry. Weirdly relaxing. Mastering the throws is difficult, but rewarding. Nice job.

Evercloud by SecondDimension 2018-08-21T23:38:49Z

A really good entry. The graphics style is very pleasant to the eye and the music makes for a nostalgic atmosphere. The story is simple, but still engaging. Good job!

SINGULARITY by Syrapt0r 2018-08-19T18:43:48Z

Enjoyable, minimalistic style. The gameplay is simple and intuitive. Good job!

Windoge 96 by Barbaarian 2018-08-14T15:00:52Z

Meme overload. Overall it's quite a nice game, just a shame there's only two minigames.

Get Comfortable by mcccclean 2018-08-14T13:44:13Z

A ridiculous interpretation of the theme leading to a ridiculously fun to play game.

Growing Out by superpokeunicorn 2018-08-17T20:11:46Z

Just plain awesome. I really liked the fact that the game plays on a single map - it's just amazing how each time the Mr. Blob enlarges, the level, despite staying the same, plays totally different. The graphics and audio fit together nicely, and create a very homely atmosphere. I love it!

Growing Out by superpokeunicorn 2018-09-02T22:08:38Z

Hey @superpokeunicorn, could you post the source on GitHub, maybe? I know it's available on itch.io, but having it on GH would make it easier to contribute. :)

Bath Time by DDRKirbyISQ 2018-09-02T21:22:16Z

Oh man, this is so cute I gotta check my blood sugar. The art style is very pleasant, and the concept of washing dirty ~~kitties~~ meowmies is adorable. It's fascinating how such simple gameplay can be so appealing! The game was a bit hard - it took me a long time to get past level 5, but even then, it wasn't really frustrating. Overall, this is a very, very solid entry. Amazing job!

Mr.Tobro by Darenn 2018-08-17T11:12:02Z

The low-rez graphics make it a bit hard to figure out what's happening at first, but once you get it, it's a lovely little game. I liked that there's different types of towers and how you have to keep running through your camp and activating the towers. The game sometimes experiences slowdowns when there's lots of bullets on the screen, but that's a minor issue. Overall - well done!

Pineapple Run by yscik 2018-08-17T10:37:01Z

Good game. The audio and graphics fit together nicely, and the gameplay itself is easy to grasp and enjoyable. My only complaint would be about the lack of difficulty scaling - I was able to reach 1500 points and frankly, by that time I got a bit bored. The game could, for example, speed up slowly over time, to make it more challenging. Either way, this is a very fun entry.

Out of Space Inc. by osthekake 2018-08-13T17:59:37Z

Very fun and interesting concept, giving a chance to play around with some physics. The controls are a bit hard to use, especially when there's multiple thrusters on a single object.

Inventory Rush by Notaveerus 2018-08-13T13:03:59Z

A simple idea making for an interesting gameplay. Having to avoid NPCs and manage the equipment at the same time proves quite challenging. Could use some audio and some visual cues on what's happening.

Space Scrap! by Alex Lutay 2018-08-15T19:08:42Z

Good game. The visual style is great - a shame there isn't any audio to match. The gameplay is rather confusing at first; some kind of tutorial level would definitely help ease the learning curve.

Space Lost by rakart 2018-08-17T19:22:55Z

Nice game. The visuals are very nice, and the music fits right in, creating a very soothing atmosphere. The gameplay is enjoyable, it's just a shame that the game is so short. Otherwise, good job.

Eating Sim by robochase6000 2018-08-16T18:22:40Z

Awesome. The scoring is a bit hard to grasp at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a very entertaining game.

Mindblocked by diptoman 2018-08-15T14:36:13Z

A very solid game. The audio and visuals fit together nicely and create a really nice atmosphere. The puzzles are often quite treacherous, with the solutions turning out to be so easy that you feel like an idiot for taking so long. I had a blast playing this.

Deluge of Doom by deathray 2018-08-27T15:55:11Z

The game is enjoyable, but the mechanics are very simple, and that makes it rather uninteresting past finishing it one time. The graphics are nice, but the lack of sound makes it a bit boring. Also, it took me a while to discover that the map extends past the viewport and you can drag it - this could be explained on the title screen.

Sofamino by shide 2018-08-16T17:31:52Z

A great, humorous take on the classic Tetris theme. The audio-visual style is nice and consistent, and the gameplay, while slightly frustrating at times, is very rewarding. A very solid game!

Ice Interstice by aeveis 2018-08-16T16:56:42Z

Really nicely done! The graphics are cute and the music and sound effects fit right in to create a cuddly, homely atmosphere. The puzzles themselves display a good skill curve. My only complaint is "more levels plx"!

Save the Tomatoes! by fractalsunrise 2018-08-15T15:33:52Z

A very solid entry. The overall quality is great, and the game is really fun to play. Highly recommended.

Quest for freedom by folex70 2018-08-17T15:55:03Z

A small game with a short session length. The graphics are okay, and the sound effects fit them nicely. I played the web version on itch.io and it feels like the viewport size is messed up a bit, as e.g. the time is not fully visible. Also, I managed to push the enemy over the floating box to the right and that didn't count as a win.

Tetrolled by TRASEVOL_DOG 2018-08-13T01:23:12Z

The game surely lives up to its name! Prepare yourself to be relentlessly, mercilessly trolled by the RNG, as it decides to spawn a random block just where you wanted to drop your piece.

Detox by FiloGC 2018-08-14T15:14:08Z

The simple concept, combined with a distinct look and feel make for a very entertaining game. There isn't much depth, but the game moves on so fast that it hardly matters - you just want to take another shot at getting a good score.

Ultimate Cave Of Dangers by gaspard 2018-08-27T20:35:37Z

A nice entry, but way too hard. I like the procedural generation of levels - allows you to try again and again until you master the controls, or roll an easier level. It's a bit of a shame there's no game over screen, and that there isn't any sound apart from the music, but either way, it's a fun entry.

Slime Escape by Dom Harris 2018-08-19T17:59:21Z

Simple idea with a nice execution. The levels are treacherous, which combined with no checkpoints makes the game a bit frustrating, since you can't re-try the moment you died on - you have to go all the way from the beginning. But I like that, it makes the game more of a hard-core challenge. The music is nice and the visuals create an enjoyable atmosphere.

The Decline by paulstraw 2018-08-13T07:29:14Z

It's a shame there's no sound, because otherwise this would be a solid compo entry. A good pick for people who enjoy the Dwarf Fortress kind of challenge - because losing is fun!

Pats Pack by Landon 2018-08-19T17:15:37Z

I like this game. The gameplay is simple and engaging. The tempo is quite fast, but I think it's a good thing - it encourages the player to just keep on running, rather than take it slow and devise tactics. My main complaint is that enemy spawns don't take the player's current position into account, so it's totally possible to have an enemy spawn right in front of your face - there should be some minimum distance that has to be kept between the monster and the player.

Pervertica - CCG by mitus 2018-08-16T16:43:15Z

The visuals are really nice, but holy smokes, the difficulty! The gameplay quickly goes from engaging to outright frustrating. Apart from that, a really good job.

Corrupted Corners by Likirus 2018-08-17T16:06:49Z

Fun little game. The concept is very nice, and the art is very pleasant to the eye. There are some minor bugs (e.g. sometimes I could not build on empty squares, and some squares stayed protected after the beacons were destroyed), but it's still playable and enjoyable.

Blocks by Anubhav Kashyap 2018-08-27T15:59:42Z

Simple and fun. The red blocks should spawn a lot higher, as when you jump up, you can actually jump past the spawn height. Other than that, it's a solid, fun little entry.

Stop the Darkness by Florian van Strien 2018-08-13T00:55:53Z

On the first playthrough, this game seems rather simplistic. However, the more you play, the more you discover the various intricacies to this game's mechanics. Though you don't need to be a master strategist to win, there's a lot of content that strategists will find to their liking. Don't let the graphics fool you - this game is bigger than it appears on the surface.

Countdown by Owen Davies 2018-08-16T21:41:53Z

The art style is interesting, but the game itself is a complete mystery to me. I've tried it four times and I still have no idea what to do. Do I need to find a certain combination of items? I noticed I can select an item using keys 1-3, but there isn't any way to actually use them. If I stay outside, sometimes my items are not taken away at midnight. Also - damn, I don't know where this prison is located, but it's already dark as hell by 2pm. **:P**

The Red pixel by RainbowKappaGames 2018-08-27T14:55:06Z

Quite enjoyable, but it's a shame there's only a few levels. The final boss fight was rather boring. Also the game would be much more enjoyable if it had some audio. Overall, it's not bad, but a bit underwhelming.

Vita Magicae by Anuke 2018-08-27T16:25:33Z

Really good. The art style is very pleasant to the eye, and the music really heats you up for battle. The enemies are quite tough, but well, that's to be expected of a bullet hell game. A very solid entry. Good job!

Vita Magicae by Anuke 2018-08-27T16:25:44Z

_whoops double post_

Vita Magicae by Anuke 2018-08-27T16:26:55Z

_yay, triple post - thanks, ISP_

BulletMan by Grewoss 2018-08-18T16:46:21Z

I liked the bullets-become-obstacles mechanic, it's interesting. The visuals are quite nice. I got a bit fed up with the floating heads sticking to the hero and chomping them to death, though.

Data Overload by skyr 2018-08-13T18:42:11Z

Simple concept with neat execution. It's a shame the game doesn't present much of a challenge, as the box drops don't seem to speed up, so you can basically play forever.

Gridlock by TerraPass 2018-08-17T09:36:42Z

Nice and simple. The graphics and the music fit together nicely and create a lovely atmosphere. I wish there was a bit more to the gameplay, but either way, it's a neat little game.

Take care of her by KiiroHanabi 2018-08-21T23:56:49Z

Wow, this was unexpectedly deep. There's not much in terms of gameplay, but since this is basically a visual novel, that's not an issue. The graphical design is smooth and pleasant, the music also fits each memory very well. There were a couple typos, but that's a minor issue. Overall, I'm impressed with your take on the theme and the overall quality.

HELP: The Illuminati captured my family and are forcing me to make this game by CaptainDreamcast 2018-08-13T17:41:08Z

Kinda like the Pandemic games, except that as far as I can see, there's no real way to lose apart from making stupid choices. While the game doesn't provide much of a challenge, it's main advantage is its absurd sense of humour and funny graphics style. Good for a chuckle.

CATSITTER by PureGarlic 2018-08-17T08:48:24Z

Cute - cute, I tell you! I think it could use a time limit or some other mechanic for extra challenge, since currently the gameplay, while enjoyable, isn't very varied. The art style is adorable.

Cybermind by GrizzledBoor 2018-08-19T18:11:59Z

The controls are tragic - having to wait for the robot to go through an accelerate-decelerate motion every time you want to move a tile is just painful, especially when combined with the fact that you can't just hold a key to go into a certain direction - you have to tap it again and again. The visuals are very nice and the music is pleasant; relaxing, even. There's not much to the gameplay, which is a shame, because once again - from an audio-visual point of view, this is quite a solid entry.

Enduring Light by Swen 2018-08-15T15:12:15Z

A really nice and simple shooter. It's a real shame there isn't any audio, as that'd make the game way more fun. I like the art style.

Alternating Space by StateOff 2018-08-17T19:54:31Z

Neat little game. The visuals are simplistic, but together with the slightly ominous music, create a nice style. The puzzles are interesting, just a shame there isn't more of them. Overall, a very enjoyable game.

And hello to a fellow Fedora user.

Space Hauler by Keppu 2018-08-16T17:48:30Z

Nice entry. The core gameplay is rather simple, but still very satisfying. The visuals and the audio fit together nicely and create a relaxing atmosphere. Good job!

ClapBang by arron-fowler 2018-08-19T22:09:29Z

It took me a while to understand how picking up items works, but once that's out of the way, it's quite an enjoyable game. The AI, while simplistic, can still sometimes put up a challenge. If you feel like making a post-compo version, this could turn out to be a very interesting game.

Laser Rails: Chase! by Alex_ADEdge 2018-08-13T13:37:56Z

Yeah, robot cowboys! The visuals are very nice, but the movement is a bit awkward and the scoring is a mystery to me. Still, for a 48h compo, this is a mighty fine entry in terms of overall quality.

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-27T18:37:25Z

Nice, I enjoyed it. The game is very simple gameplay-wise, but balancing all the resources takes some skill. It's a bit of a shame there isn't any goal apart from "survive the most days" - on Easy, I was able to find a safe setup where all off the resources were steadily rising. It would also be nice to be able to rotate the buildings. Still, those minor issues aside, this is a very solid entry. Good job!

Closed Trail by saturn007 2018-08-13T17:12:13Z

If you know what a "line rider" is, then this game is basically the same concept, except you leave a bold trail behind, which blocks your movement. While the idea might be interesting, the execution is - unfortunately - rather poor, as there's no sound, the graphics are very minimal (and pixelated), and the overall feeling is one of "eh, as long as it works".

Overflow by Mors 2018-08-14T14:15:02Z

Great game. The audiovisual style is simply gorgeous - it's just not possible not to enjoy it. The controls are bit hard to master (especially the walljump), but apart from that issue, it's a very fun game to play.

Valdi: Shadows by beepyeah 2018-08-17T11:43:58Z

Nice and simple. The audio and graphics fit together nicely, creating a very retro atmosphere. The puzzles are quite fun, especially once Shadow Valdi appears. I really enjoyed this and I'd gladly play a version with more levels.

Space Escape by FelipeDev 2018-08-27T19:44:42Z

A great exercise in frustration, I gave up once my time spent in last level outweighed the previous 9 stages combined. The graphics and audio create a nice, consistent style. The stages are hard just enough to make you shout profanities and yet still want to keep going. Good job.

Falling Ecosystem by sprvrn 2018-08-14T13:30:01Z

Nice game, I really enjoyed it! The only feature I've found missing was some kind of fast-forward once there are no more empty tiles. Still, this is really well-polished and extremely fun to play.

The Space Between Us by plufmot 2018-08-20T14:07:11Z

Small, simple, pleasant.

Ultimate Furniture Stacker X-Treme by Norris Eldridge 2018-08-19T19:21:46Z

The controls are a bit tricky, since the character's movement is relative to where they're looking at (which means - where the mouse pointer is at), not relative to the room - but once you get used to that, it's a neat little game. I like the visual style. The music is very pleasant and rhythmic; the "announcer" also sounds cheerful and makes you want to play more. Really good job!

KnightTime by coatline 2018-09-02T20:28:48Z

Fun little game. The gameplay is simple, yet challenging. The sounds make the game even more fun to play. I have to admit though, I didn't really find any connection with the compo theme.

Demonic Digestion by DodoIta 2018-08-16T20:56:02Z

I really enjoyed the art style. The gameplay itself is simple, but enjoyable. It took me a while to notice that the colour of the trail left by the head represents the health. Good job!

A rather standard Tyrian / Gradius clone. While the core gameplay is fine and quite enjoyable, the balance could use some work - after playing the game once or twice, it's easy to stay alive long enough to max out your weapon, and after that you're pretty much invincible, since the scrap metal (that you can use to repair your ship) from destroyed asteroids comes in so fast that you can heal yourself fifty times.

An interesting take on the classic formula a'la Icy Tower. Quite polished in terms of craftsmanship, but could use a bit more variance in the gameplay.

CubiCo by Dominic 2018-08-17T12:54:04Z

The core gameplay is simple and enjoyable. The puzzles are just the right difficulty - not as easy to become boring, not as hard to become frustrating. The art style is consistent and creates a nice feel. Overall, good job!

House of Dog by Pizzasgood 2018-08-13T01:41:15Z

An interesting take on the theme. The mechanics, while simple, are rather unintuitive, so be sure to read the help screen before playing.

The Unfortunate Story of Hans by Bloc97 2018-08-16T20:13:56Z

Nice and simple. I hope you'll continue working on this after the rating period is over.

Don“t Hit The Ducks! by Joloujed 2018-08-22T00:03:46Z

Fun idea. The graphics and music are very pleasant and create a relaxing atmosphere. A neat little game.

One subtle bug I've found is that if a deer and a rabbit align when you take a shot, the game deducts a missed shot for each of them, so you can end up with a score of -1. **:)**

Oh no! This is monsters! by Alexey Akulovich 2018-08-13T14:03:12Z

A fun game about mindlessly killing everything that moves, with an added element of an ever-shrinking play zone. With some bonus pick-ups and an achievement system this could very well be a full-fledged commercial game.

A very simple concept made into an extremely enjoyable game. The audio and visuals fit together like a charm, creating a relaxing, homely atmosphere. There are 18 levels total, and it's not nearly enough - well, enough for a 48h compo, but I just want more! I'd gladly throw some money at the author if they made a 100 level version. :)

Stacy The Muscle by Alexey Tarabrin 2018-08-16T12:19:02Z

"Oooh yeah". The gameplay is simple and enjoyable. The art style is very pleasant to the eye. Good job!

Shrinkage by woubuc 2018-08-12T23:51:00Z

Tetris with extra punishment. Depending on your love for the original, either an interesting new challenge, or an exercise in getting punished for what seems like the proper thing to do.

stROLL by jerripo 2018-08-13T17:50:17Z

Interesting concept! The graphics are also quite nice. The gameplay, depending on one's perspective, can be seen as either very challenging, or very frustrating. The way the compo's theme is used in the game is just devilish - you WILL need to restart the game a few times before you'll be able to get all of it right.

Invasion Failed by Wargon 2018-08-18T17:29:22Z

Simple idea with a really nice execution. The visuals are very pretty and the music, uh, rocks. Good job!

GRIDLOCKED by bradleypollard 2018-09-02T19:51:50Z

Fun little puzzle game. The controls are a bit clunky, but once you get past that, it's very enjoyable. It's a shame there's no sound. I think it'd be nice to have little numbers flowing down the wires to give a better view of what's going on (though on the other hand, that would reduce the challenge).

Utter Space by snakemuho 2018-08-13T01:52:12Z

A very literal take on the theme. The core gameplay is rather simple, but the "assemble a door" mechanic is quite fun. Overall, while the game may not be very innovative, the sense of humour and quality of execution make for a really fun way to spend a couple minutes on.

Alchemist Dungeon by hexkritor 2018-08-27T19:09:35Z

Simple and enjoyable. The mix of sprites using different scales it a bit jarring, but other than that, the audio and the visuals are very pleasant. A nice game with a lot of replayability; I only wish there was an "infinite" mode where exiting one dungeon would lead to the next.

Escape through the Void by Ixio 2018-08-13T12:38:20Z

Minimalistic, but fun. It took me a while to understand that the strange noises is actually a person saying "XXX built". :D

Trash Mage by Mustiman 2018-08-15T20:02:39Z

Simple and fun, but boy does my finger hurt from all the clicking.

Return of the Sea by coolDude38 2018-08-13T13:25:59Z

Simple and fun. Plays very much like a single-player board game. Bit of a shame there's no sound.

shipme (Starbase Shipping Simulation) by lsummers 2018-08-13T12:54:14Z

A very nicely done game! It's a bit of a shame there isn't any kind of goal to reach, since after playing a bit one gets so accustomed and the money flows in so fast losing stops being a concern. Still, the audio and visuals are really impressive for a jam game!

We Have Important Work To Do by Five Side Studios 2018-08-16T17:12:10Z

Yet another desktop simulator... but how nicely done! The ads are reminiscent of the early interwebz, and the malware effects are just plain awesome (especially Miku-chan). I also loved the "old computer" background noise.
