Is this OS available for sale?

meldrian 2018-08-13 19:49

I really like the simplicity of this. It's kind of addicting.

velvetlobster 2018-08-14 03:04

Really kinda addicting gameplay and fun approach to the theme.

hishicorne 2018-08-14 12:05

Simple yet addicting game. Like the reference to the meme a lot.

barbaarian 2018-08-14 13:09

@mariosmaniatis I think I'll be ready by December, when we fix our little security problems.

barbaarian 2018-08-14 13:11

@meldrian thanks for playing it! We're happy that you liked it.

barbaarian 2018-08-14 13:12

@velvetlobster Since we were beginners, we tried to focus on the fun, looks like it worked!

I got 7100 points (in the imaginary "trackpad" category). It might be interesting to try on a tablet.

Is there a downloadable version of the desktop background?

Just a tip: you might try using "fixedsys" (or one of its clones) as the bluescreen font.

Note: it is more stable than the actual Windows OS. Much nice. 10/10 would install as a main OS

suve 2018-08-14 15:00

Meme overload. Overall it's quite a nice game, just a shame there's only two minigames.

adrianfl 2018-08-14 15:48

Very nice game, simple but addictive. It would work really well on tablet or mobile phone. Also very good sense of humor!

barbaarian 2018-08-14 17:30

@m-1 It could be a good place to play it! We didn't have a desktop background to download, but now we have, thanks for the idea! We will try to work on our OS to launch it on 3019, don't miss the date!

barbaarian 2018-08-14 17:35

@suve we had like 5 or 6 minigames ideas, but since I'm not a programmer, we didn't have time to implement them all and we focus on fixing problems. Thanks for playing!

barbaarian 2018-08-14 17:36

@adrianfl looks like a lot of people think it might work good on mobiles and tablets, we will definetly take a look to it. Hope you had a good time!

gil4 2018-08-14 23:53

Nice game, guys. I agree that it'd do well on mobile too, it'd be especially fun with an adware mini-game, which'd have real mobile ads, haha. Joking, trolling your players is bad. ._. Well, that's just what this game does to your mood, you become all troll-ish. :P And it's a great thing, influencing your players' emotions that way! Neat gameplay and fitting visuals/audio overall.

Well done!

barbaarian 2018-08-15 14:12

@gil4 If anyone complains about ads in a hypothetical mobile version, I will direct them to you 😂 I'm glad you enjoy the game, thank you!

0nironauta 2018-08-15 18:20

This is a very fun interactive joke. I got a lot of points. Could be nice to add more mechanics :id: Captura.PNG

WOW do I have the record?? Congrats!

poffle 2018-08-16 11:51

Pretty funny, Such amazing error did make me laugh. Simple idea and worked well enough. I agree with others that this could be pretty addictive on a tablet with some other mini games. The fact the middle of the spider didn't line up with the background bothered me but I won't mark you down for that, it's just something I have to learn to deal with.

Nice little game, good job for finishing it! :) Surprisingly, it took me a while to understand how to play it. In the minigame where I have to delete folders, I somehow couldn't move the folders to the recycle bin, I couldn't get it to the lower half of the screen. Second time I tried it, it worked :). I guess that was a bug. Also, I am not really a fun of the clicking sound when you click anywhere. It made me think that I did a right thing, even if I clicked somewhere random on the screen. So you could make it so the sound plays only when you click on a button, or something. Also, I don't really understand why the description of the game is in both Spanish and English. I am neither a native English speaker, but I don't think it would make that much sense to have two versions of the description, especially considering that the most people trying it are English speakers (except friends/family that don't speak English, which you could teach how to play). It almost made me click away from your game, so maybe consider this in the future :). By the way, in the game over screen, pressing any key does nothing, so you could remove that text / fix this bug (if it is). Anyways, good job y'all for this game :D.

prinfrexita 2018-08-20 23:23

barbaarian 2018-08-21 11:31

@luca1152 Thanks for taking your time on writing here! About the bug on the folder minigame looks like it have something to do with the browser, we never had any problems, but looks like you are not the only one with this problem. The description is in spanish because we participated in a real world gather, which is in Spain, but I think it will be a good idea at least changing the order. About the game over screen we had a miss understanding on the team, and you need to press enter, not any key. Again, thanks for your time!

dsqowl 2018-08-25 03:50

I enjoyed the heck out of this. Its simple but made me smile! Very nice!

alastairwyn 2018-08-25 06:15

Really funny game! Good work on finishing - made me smile :D

erkberg 2018-08-25 09:52

Nice little game that was quite fun and funny for a little while. Some more minigames would've been cool and the dragging didn't always seem to work that well, but apart from that I enjoyed this, good job!

ithildin 2018-08-31 20:04

Much virus. Very windows. Wow.

Now seriously, even though I'm not generally a huge fan of meme-based games I have a soft spot for Doge, and your entry is really nice

I liked how the art mimics the old Window systems and especially how well the minigames fit given the context.

¡Felicidades!
