Nice little game. Found 1 way to win. Background music would / sounds have been awesome!
On the first playthrough, this game seems rather simplistic. However, the more you play, the more you discover the various intricacies to this game's mechanics. Though you don't need to be a master strategist to win, there's a lot of content that strategists will find to their liking. Don't let the graphics fool you - this game is bigger than it appears on the surface.
Love the concept and the execution. It is fun to find the way to win. Would love to see the update of resources through because the game feels a bit static. However it is very fun and can be potentially make into a mobile game.
I always fear strategy games in ludum dare, because I am afraid they are to difficult and not good explained. But it wasn't the case here. At first I haven't seen that you can build various villages on empty fields, but the game is forgiving enough, so I could still do it. Great that you add the option to keep playing, was hoping that during playing, cause I wanted to upgrade all buildings. Only flaw: For me the font is sometimes a bit harsh to read.
Great entry!
The game is really fun. Trying to discover the best ways of building stuff to maximize income was satisfying and the amount depth it had was surprising from what i expected on a first glance. Well done.
The adjacency mechanic really does add a lot of depth to what would otherwise be a standard idler. It's a very solid game.
After I stopped the darkness I couldn't stop playing. I never knew that mining rocks and growing forests could be so much fun. An addictive, well-designed game.
I like the concept! It was easy to understand while still somewhat challenging to win the first time around. It would've been even better with some calming background music.
This was so good! I beat it by stopping the darkness and then I continued to play after I won. I agree that some sound and/or music would have been nice. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, the mechanics or the graphics. Congrats on completing your game!
You learn how to play pretty quickly and I spent more time playing than I had planned for. Graphics fit well and the theme is applied nicely, great job!
Really unique idea aided by charming pixel graphics, really liked this one. I'd rather not say how much time I spent building up the world postgame.
Then I realized the world is randomized. Oh no. Probably going to be playing this many more times.
Really fun man. Didn't take long to learn. wish i thought of this! Keep expanding man!
I saved the world from darkness. It looked like it was coming close but I did it. Very unique idea, had a lot of fun playing it.
One of the best I played so far! Managed to save the world and continued playing afterwards because I wanted to know more. Great complete game :) Sweet graphics too!
