@fakefirefly Thanks man, I cut it too close to get music in cause im a programming noob. The smack sound was a pitch lowered edit of my fist punching my hand lol, and the door was a crowbar banging around my floor. Also, nobody gets the briefcase on the first try (it was meant to be a suprise anyway)! Did you get the shotgun?
@jamie-reed thank you! I agree that some tense ambient music would have been perfect, but oh well. I'm glad it wasn't a total flop!
@RandyTayler Thanks man! Blender is my secret. I didn't think ahead to record or anything cause I was so focused, but I would love to go into detail about my methods! The biggest thing you'll notice is that rooms are honestly just simple geometry pieces rendered beautifully by the cycles renderer in blender. scr_cap2.png I used blender for ALL of the graphics; from the hearts to the water splashes. It does take time to learn how to use it, but its free and powerful.

Cool graphics, but that @#$%@# unfair hitbox for the eyeball guys! I wanted to win so bad T_T

@Marcus Otterstrom thanks man! I agree, there is much more that could have happened; i initially intended to have you choose a partner to come with you and risk death! Also the jetpack started out as just a way to test 3d rooftop collisions, and was too fun to let go!
@thebreakfast yea the aiming was indeed a challenge; gamemaker HTML5 does not natively support mouse locking, so i had to come up with something fast...and your idea for the jetpack totally should have made it in, but alas i ran out of time lol. Thanks for playing man!
