I like it! It took a bit of getting used to the controls but it was fun.

Good job!

Nice game! Wish I could keep the keys pressed to keep moving, but other than that I enjoyed it :)

A fun game~!And the mechanics reminds me Transistor!

Everything involving the dialogue system is the winner here. The art for the character reactions is expressive, clean and just pleasant to look at. The dialogue in the game is silly, tongue in cheek, and pretty funny. The rushed ending made me laugh out loud!

The gameplay doesn't seem to really exist. The augment system seems kind of irrelevant, since I could always just stop and equip what I needed when I needed it, so I might as well just have had all the functions all the time. With the battle augment and the door hacking augment, the game basically turned into a walking simulator.

Overall, I'd still recommend the game for the fun dialogue and great artwork.

Really enjoyed the graphics. Nice work!

Nice graphics and soundtrack. The movement mechanics were a bit annoying and the augment system doesn't really add any complexity since you can switch at any time. The level design was nice with multiple options. It would be more interesting if you could only switch the augmentations at the girl bot (and maybe only having one augmentation slot). Even if you didn't finish the game, you put a humorous twist on it :)

Nice art. Good execution on the speech bubbles. I was not sure what the purpose of the "switching robot abilities" mechanic was. It just seemed like I had to switch augments to fulfill different tasks but it was just a UI impediment rather than feelign like meaningful gameplay. On a controls note, I would have loved to see a very small input buffer so you could hit 2 keystrokes rapidly and have both keystrokes processed. This would have helped significantly with the movement and navigation.

I enjoyed the doses of humor. I also liked the idea of the 3 augments, it would just need some extra design to create a purpose to them.

I really liked the graphics and the storyline, I only wish you could move faster by holding down.

The little robot is very friendly and appealing, I really like him. The soundtrack is very cool too, this is a great game but same as Ice Maker, I think it will be better if the character could move faster.

The graphics are nice, the game is pretty fun. By cons yes I agree with others that the character does not move fast enough. I do not know if it's voluntary.

I liked the audio and the dialogue, really good. Other than that, I would have liked to see more of a purpose for the augmentations but as you said, the game couldn't be completed in time. I also experienced a bug at the red button with the 4 sentinels around it that can be reached by jumping. I jumped down from the button and got stuck and I couldn't move anywhere. Other than that, it was a fun little game. Good job.

Very nice game for being uninished. The audio and graphics were great. The dialog is indeed the best part of the game. Sorta wish it was finished. Would love to see in the finished version some better movement and walking animation :)

Excellent entry :) Liked the visuals and the music a lot. The concept of the augmentations is a pretty neat idea. Very well done!

dancan 2018-08-19 18:03

The movement felt a bit awkward but everything else was great, especially the art! I really like the idea behind the augmentation system; it reminds me a bit of the original Deus Ex (one of my all time favorite games)

The controls are tragic - having to wait for the robot to go through an accelerate-decelerate motion every time you want to move a tile is just painful, especially when combined with the fact that you can't just hold a key to go into a certain direction - you have to tap it again and again. The visuals are very nice and the music is pleasant; relaxing, even. There's not much to the gameplay, which is a shame, because once again - from an audio-visual point of view, this is quite a solid entry.

Fun lil' game. Easy mechanics and nice gfx + music. Got stuck, tho:

Lots that is good here. I was left a little bored as it went on. Up the action and make moving more fun and I would be all over it.

wrenpirate 2018-08-21 03:51

I second (or fourth) the longing for continuous or at least faster movement. I would have sacrificed a lot of the maze for some kind of stakes: robots that move, if not chase, or some kind of urgency to finish. The premise that the player character misheard the circumstance undermines any motivation. If no one is trying to kill this robot, why keep running? When creators don't play by their own rules, nothing means anything.
