Haha, this is hilarious! I love all the different things you can do (like burp, chew, use your tongue and more!)

Very creative idea and also so funny game!Great job!
What did I just play? My Gastroesophageal Reflux didn't approve!
Very innovative idea for sure and fitting for the theme. You have to juggle with the different actions of your body in order to survive the ordeal of eating. Puke is kind of a panic action when everything goes horribly wrong. Just like in real life.
Graphics do the bare minimum, but it might be best that this kind of action is not drawn in more detail. My esophagus is already starting to react to the sound effects. I played alone, which is quite boring. To get most of the fun you might need a friend to play against.
Thanks for making the Webgl version, i've been playing this game two times now and it's the most fun game i've played in this jam because of it's simplicity and the comedic gameplay. It could have been simplier in my opinion with automatic grastic liquid thing, spontaneous vomiting etc... Great entry (thanks for the coop too)
This is pretty funny. I didn't figure out a good strategy, but the sound effects are very disturbing. Nice job!
It is way harder than I thought, but I should say really addictive! Very unique idea, and properly set up a place for burp. A bit disgusting but we players not ordinary people!
@benjamin-l @guardhei i'm still not very good at the game myself, but it helps to shut your mouth and wait for good stuff to come out. you don't want to eat the grubs for example, and it's a good idea to save meat for the end of a chain, otherwise the gas makes it pretty tough to get anything else in for a while.
also in versus mode, you can totally end up spitting grubs into the opponents mouth to mess with them :D
Thanks for playing!
Hey having fun playing your game, I had some controller issues thought but still have a good experience playin it, really fun in 1v1.
How delightfully disgusting!
I couldn't play the Versus mode, but I imagine this would be pretty dang funny with a friend - so long as they too would find this type of humor funny. It's an interesting take on the theme, and running with a QWOP style party game makes for a unique entry.
The sounds were executed perfectly, but I would like to see a more consistent style for the graphics.
Such a perl. A lot of depth in this simple concept. I love how you can burp something out and chew it again or use tongue to block burp while still attempting to shove bites down your throat. Good job, I think you should score high in many categories.
Really good game with lots of depth. It's funny how sometimes when your mouth is open those pesky parasites just launch straight into your stomach!
Really good game, even if it's pretty hard to dislodge a piece of meat that got into your throat without being chewed. Sadly, I don't have any other living human with me at this time, so I can't test multiplayer, but I imagine it can be even better
@trocentraisin yeah, it used to be really easy to get hard candy completely stuck in your throat, rendering your run a waste. I added a small hitbox in your throat that shrinks the food just like the stomach acid. it does it a little bit slower to allow for some dramatic tension (am I choking??? lol), and it doesn't add to your stomach nutrients. But it should be enough to free up a blockage if you give it 10 seconds or so
It seems better, in fact (even if I've never had this problem with candies, though, works with meat)
It's err.. a smelly game.. errrrrrr---- errrrrrrrrrrrr errr
Played this with Pilorekt on stream! It was fun! Quite a bit of depth, I still don't know the best strategy. Nice work. The physics worked really well, and graphics didn't get in the way.
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297889760
Awesome. The scoring is a bit hard to grasp at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a very entertaining game.
Didn't understand the scoring, but enjoyed the game! Played with friend
@sobakaduka yeah it could be better explained perhaps. your score is calories X protein. the points collect in your stomach (think of it as the acid becoming nutrient rich), and then you 'lock in' those points when you drain your stomach (they basically transfer from your stomach to your final score). Oh, and the bugs will consume the nutrients in the acid - they basically consume calories and protein, so either get rid of them or cash in your points before they take too many.
Thanks for playing!
This game is... weird. And I didn't really get into it at all. The controls felt awkward for me on a keyboard (I initially almost didn't play it because I don't have an xbox controller and I couldn't figure out what the keyboard keys were - but I eventually spotted them in really tiny writing buried in the bottom corner of the screen, so your UI design could really use some rethink!) This game really needs a tutorial, it's not clear what I'm supposed to be doing apart from trying to get food into my stomach, and I ended up getting stuck because a piece of food got lodged in the throat and I couldn't find a way to unblock it. Having said all of that, it's a unique and fun take on the theme with some original ideas going on here, it just fails a little in the execution of those ideas. Keep developing games, hopefully you'll continue to learn from this jam and will return for the next one with something even better!
@historymaker118 sorry it wasn't for you, but thanks for the feedback!
I agree a proper tutorial system would be nice in a more polished release. I was primarily focused on layering all the mechanics I wanted. In a more complete game, I would probably introduce the food types one by one (I've already implemented a few new types and have more planned), and also have more refined UI & tips for when the player should increase their stomach acid or digest their calories.
food dissolves in your throat as well, but it's a slow process. Burping/Puking sometimes helps to dislodge things faster. I thought it would add a little tension (ugh I'm choking!) but I think most people just get frustrated after 8 seconds and see it as a bug :)
Lol this....is something. Felt like the game was a bit too fast-paced with too many options at first, but I guess you sort of have to get the hang of it. There were a bit too many worms I think; I think that was the main thing that really detracted from the fun of things. I think the game would feel much more fun if 80% of the time was spent frantically trying to munch things as fast as you can, but right now it feels like half the time I am trying to keep the parasites from being ingested. Having food types introduced one by one would help, as you mentioned.
Pretty hilarious in general though.
