I like the post processing effects. It makes a relly good ambient.

Unfortunately the mac build is missing..
I like how the game looks. And the tower defense works pretty well. Bit the runner part was a bit to fast/messy for me. Also i think it is better if you offer all your game files in one zip as now i had to download 2 files separately and at first it did not work as i was not sure i needed the second file
Unfortunately Linux build shows error "Error: Could not load game path '.'"
The macOS download link directory is empty...
@Jiri Hysek , @Antti Haavikko what a blunder! Fixed, the *.dmg file is there now. @ditzel Thanks man @bcvery1 oh that's good to know, sorry about it not working atm :( @Aterlamia thanks for the feedback, much obliged! And you're right, I would have loved to spend a bit more time tweaking and playing with the runner part.
@krystof-klestil: thanks! btw. linux version just misses .pck file.. i ran into this very same problem when I upgraded to Godot3
@Jiri Hysek woot, valuable info! Thanks. Can I just copy it over from the windows one or is a new export in order?
I love the game! I just beat it I wish it wen't longer
@krystof-klestil I didn't test that but it would be really nice if .pck files were the same for all platforms.. I guess it should work
It's too easy :D Great graphics, nice interface! Decent game.
@Danby glad you enjoyed it! I second your wishes and might pick up where I left off, develop the game further also properly utilizing the runner side of things. @Jiri Hysek We shall see then, have sent the files to a friend with a Linux machine with the pck file from the windows build. I'll let you know afterwards.
By the way, you gotta use the name that is in the brackets to properly trigger the at mentions.
I guess the icon wasn't supposed to look like this... turo-icon.png
Seemed a bit on the easy side. Just two turrets right in the start were enough to handle everything except for the final wave. And even the final wave was no big deal with all the turrets I placed later on the track in the beginning before I put those two nukers in near the entrance.

Completely missed the running bit of the game. Now looking at the screenshots, it looks like I was supposed to trigger it manually with the run button. So I just tried again and with those two magic turrets, I just stayed up and ran. Were there supposed to be obstacles to dodge or something and you didn't have time to add them or what? The camera movement on the running bit was quite nauseating.
Anyways, good job!
@jiri-hysek Ok the the pck file is indeed the same, lovely. Finally works now. @antti-haavikko Right on! Thanks for the tip, hadn't realized. Absolutely, that icon was supposed to be 'slightly' less... crispy. Yeah it is a 'bit' on the easy side, I wanted to add floating coins (for highscore) and obstacles and ammo (to be able to help out there below) to the running part also play with the camera a bit more. I actually have a few ideas on how to tackle it but there wasn't enough time for that. Thanks for having tested it so thoroughly!
@jiri-hysek, ps. Loved your game mate! Fantastic use of everything.
@krystof-klestil: Happy to hear that! About the game and about .pck file as well :)
Nice overall product, for a jam entry. Maybe it's too easy, but in fact is fun! The game concept and the idea is well fitting the jam theme, and it have some potential! Just work in a post-jam polished version with balancements and improved asset, and maybe release a mobile version. Thanks for your work!
@memel06 I'm in serious consideration of that.
Cool game, nice concept! :) I found the controls of the endless runner a bit confusing at first, I'd say maybe the camera was being a bit too frantic. That being said, nice aesthetics, loved the small turret animations and the camera/post-processing effects!
@sndr Thanks man! Yeah I must confess to starting really late because I had no clue what to make, inspiration was not coming in so I spend a 'good' amount of time tinkering with the animations of the turret.
Awesome. Nice Idea, and as already been told here, can be improved and polished to get a good-looking end-game result in the future. It looks like you got not enough time for making both mechanics work well (surprise-surprise), but still great. I enjoyed this TD runner :) Congrats and good luck!
I like what you did with the build animation of the turret.
Hi! Nice game. I liked the visuals. Minimalistic style and animations were great. I wished that i it was longer and more enemies would come. I had this huge amount of towers, but the ones at the back didn't get a chance to shoot. :smile:
Good job!
Nice! Very interesting!
BE CAREFUL!
What a strange and interesting game! It wasn't exactly clear to me what I was doing in RUN mode, but I figured out that I could spam left click and kill pretty much anything that spawned. I like the art style, and the fact that you somehow found time to make a proper build animation! Nice work.
The console was filled up with:
``` ERROR: Area::_area_inout: Condition ' !area_in && !E ' is true. At: scene\3d\area.cpp:357 ```
And an obligatory highscore image:
Very interesting.
Interesting concept. Loved the art style/graphics. Run mode was a bit confusing, and I feel like the difficulty could be more balanced, but otherwise an excellent game!
@caeonosphere yeah the animations and art overall is definitely the part of game dev where my confidence predominantly lies at the moment. Thanks for the review!
@edj99 Aye, the run mode I would have definitely liked to polish more, also balance indeed was heavily tilted towards the easy side. Such valuable experience this was for me and my game dev skills though I'm really happy I both participated and did what I did. Thanks for the review!
Very solid compo entry ! The mechanics are interesting and well executed, I really like the aesthetics, it gives the game a nice mood. I was a bit easy but it's hard to have a perfect game balancing in a 2 days solo work. I enjoyed it a lot !
