You are a true Jedi "C" Master! Impressive, especially for an 48 hours job. And plays great!

You are a true Jedi "C" Master! Impressive, especially for an 48 hours job. And plays great!
I've scored 56k and wasn't even bored. Simple and original idea, nice realization. Good job! By the way I've also made a snake game. I think we should find our snake-developing brothers/sisters and organize anonymous club of snake-developers :)
Couldn't find the match unfortunately. But I've enjoyed the music a lot while waiting :). Especially in the middle, when it's pitching. Pumping up bois! I'll try it one more time later, maybe with a friends or someone will be online next time. Battle Royale... damn, I'm intrigued :)
Nice storyline. It seems to be much deeper than some movies nowadays :) Sausage-vampires ftw
The barbarians are here! But in the end I won, on the N attempt :) Nice and pleasant game, would be good to get more
Great concept and idea. Add some graphics, levels and it should be good for mobiles. Combining successful :)
Good idea. Congrats with your first ludum game :)
<3 this type of top down games! I think I scored about 3 or 4k, not sure how much. Lasted about 3 minutes and I'm not really sure why I've died :) And now it says that my score was 0000. I've pressed play again and nothing happens. Music are playing, 4 lives, 0000 score and Joined label on the left top side of the screen :) Don't worry about bugs. It's very hard and brave to create multiplayer games on a GJ. I think everyone in here knows this :) The idea are cool! It could add even more dynamics into this awesome genre. And those mechanics could be expanded even more. For example add combo counts on successful hits. Or add additional offhand weapon that affects enemies only while shielded. Well, that's another story, I get it. Nice work anyways. If we could just had more time... :)
That was very nice executed game. Animations, menus and so on. An the gameplay by itself are very relaxing after 48 hours of nonstop action :) It's pretty much completed and ready for a roll-out I'd say. GJ!
It feels very fluid in action, and a great concept also!
Yeah, run into the same bug. But the game feels great! nice gameplay, idea, humor and execution. Good job.
P.S. Sir, your voice acting are splendid! Especially the woman's voice))
I've been thinking that it was much worse when I looked on the screenshot at first. But hey, we are on ludum, who cares?) Actually in the end the game showed itself much deeper, very interesting and fun to play. Nice one!
At first it was very easy. I was like: okay, crimsonland on the weekend! But then I got a machinegun and some things got really intense :) the screen in shaking, the enemies are coming much faster, the hp bar is dropping faster that medkits appears. And I'm not a newbie in this type of games. Niiice! Damn, I'm intrigued about what's going to happen on the wave 90 :) GJ!
Despite the graphics, the gameplay are awesome! It would be also nice to add some kind of minimap or just some simple zoom-out button because sometimes it's hard to get info about the enemies location or tower HP, especially when you are on the other side of the map. I enjoyed the game, good job!
Very well executed game. Idea, gameplay mechanics, art, sound and of course level design. It's fascinating to see how big amount of not-random-content you were able to add into this game just in 3 days. The Game by itself feels very calm and relaxing (those ambient music made my day), but at the same time there is a lot of challenges in there. Actually I've lost a sense of time while playing it :) And finished it by the way. GJ! 2018-04-25 (13).png
Nice game. Very decent visuals, the main menu art looks cool! The gameplay mechanics also feels nice, perfectly matching the Jam theme and actually harder than I thought. You have to concentrate and plan your moves because the time is very limited. Also after reaching the shoot spot there should be enough room to throw the ball before zombies hit you. It would be also cool to add some sort of coop (back-up friend who will clear the way for you), or maybe zombie-enemy opponent who will haunt you down :) But of course it's time consuming and this result are more than enough. Well done!
Ah, I got the familiar problem. Now it's much easier and fun to play. Nice visuals. And congrats with your first ludum :)
It's very intriguing :) The game on an own engine in 3 days, in solo, should be interesting. But I can't open the link, error 404. Please fix, I really want to try it :) 2018-04-24 (2).png
So many awesome ideas out there :) And your game actually are quite addictive besides the great concept. Good job!
And remember kids, do not try this in RL :)
Yeah, true 8 bit tanks nostalgia)
Yeah, it's like giving your 1-core processor brain a 2-core job :)
You forgot "hit Z to win" :) GJ! I got 0 flaps on the first try, 3 on the second and 5 on the third. Sir, if there will be any World FlappyGolf Championship, sign me in! :)
Looks like a horse is stalking you, it now has appeared in the comments section! Beware of @memel06 ! Am I drunk? P.S. nice survival :) what's in the end? Another horse? :)
Wow, that looks very interesting :) I like those kind of party games and going to try this on a weekend. It looks like you carefully thought out all the rules. And the art looks great as well. Now the goal is to find the A3 printer and play-test it with buds :) But on the first look, very good. GJ!
I've been playing it with a friend. Friend died, I won. Conclusion: Nice game :) Thumbs up
@hyorvenn thanks for a feedback. About snake sizes, it was actually a feature :) You have to think what you are eating. But I agree that it looks un-obvious. Wanted to add some in-game joke in that place but got no time small snake can sneak everywhere medium - only doors huge - open spaces
As for the bugs. Yeah man, there is tons of them :)
@temmy Oh, everything :) I suppose that this is the way the games should be developed. Trying to make the whole process enjoyable sometimes gives you much more joy than the result. And jams by themselves provides participants with this possibility. It is a great luxury to get the opportunity to look at the whole picture in an extremely short period of time and improve yourself in the result. So, answering your questions about what I enjoyed the most are.. Conclusions! But, if it was a technical question, then character mechanics. Actually I was changing them several times. There even was a turn-based version, but not for a long time :) Thanks for a feedback!
@memel06 Yeah, that was a mistake probably. I was trying to compensate my horrible voxel design with a tons of post-processing stuff. Oh man, it was lagging a lot on Ultras in the Editor :)
@tayfun Thanks! Good to know that it was fun to play. Looks like you are a lucky guy and successfully missed most of the bugs provided in a rush :)
@vinterskog Thanks, got no time for the sound side unfortunately. That's a shame :( The only sound effect that I wanted to add was this one obviously :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNJ1B_2b17s But since it's my first LD and I was not sure about it fitting the compo rules, I decided to skip this step
@thibaut-blanca Thanks! It just came by itself almost instantly after reading LD41 theme. And I was sober by the way. And not on drugs :)
@damien-remars Thanks! It's not a bug, it's a feature (c) :)
@tyen Well, if Konami agrees... Or Kojima won't mind :)
@mccordinator , @cole-and-jordan-studios , thanks for a feedback. I was planning to add short in-game tutorial level to make everything a little bit more understandable, but unfortunately ran out of time and left everything "as is". Glad that you figured all out by yourself!
Awesome idea, pretty good for this theme. I've lost a few times figuring out the rules.. but the goat was keeping me playing on and on :) And once you figure them out (rules), it gets very funny and addicting to play the game by exploring new a new planets. Nicely done!
Very nice idea and implementation. It's pleasant to see how those two genres are combining together in a unique game like this. Those boy made me want to go outside for a jogging :)
Gameplay are fun, the idea are cool as well. Nicely done. I've managed to reach level 5. I got the message that the boss are coming :) Whoa, it's going to get hot now I thought. I've spotted a boss a bit on the top left corner, started shooting him and I got dead. It happens very fast, in a few seconds after level 5 starts. Still don't know why)) Looks like it's a really bad-ass boss :)
Nice concept and idea, good job! I also like the game flow (no menus like retry/go next/exit when you are finishing or losing the level). It speed's up the gameplay significantly. But I gave up and failed to complete the game completely2018-04-24 (3).png :) How to beat this one?
Great puzzle game with awesome visuals. I've got most of the puzzling problems on a 4th level but managed to beat it on ~ 10th attempt :) And the rest was just a matter of time to complete. Good horse. GJ! 2018-04-25 (16).png
Awesome. Nice Idea, and as already been told here, can be improved and polished to get a good-looking end-game result in the future. It looks like you got not enough time for making both mechanics work well (surprise-surprise), but still great. I enjoyed this TD runner :) Congrats and good luck!
Great idea an realisation. It looks very harmonic and chill :) By the way you should add the word LUDUM into the game vocabulary, it's not recognized :)2018-04-24 (4).png
Great idea/concept. Of course gameplay sometimes could be a bit choppy but it is compensating with crazy dynamics and old-school rocket jumping (all hail Quake!) And, keeping in mind that it's a real multiplayer game with servers, rooms and other hard-to-do-in-a-short-period-of-time stuff, that's a nice progress with a lot of efforts done just in a 2-3 days! GJ
960!
Nice concept and style. It would be nice to add more blocks and other stuff in there, like enemies for example (patrolling from the left to the right ghosts in the air, and skeletons with the same mechanics on the ground. You can simply block their way by placing blocks. or killing them by dropping block on their heads) + a bit more dynamics or the possibility to drop the block manually to speed-up the process. I bet that you had this idea but probably got out of time, I get it :) I've also found a cheating bug (or a feature?) :) You can just came across the wall and start jumping. Character now performs infinite walljumps. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It usually works when you are already standing on the block. Look at the screenshot2018-04-24 (1).png Overall the game is great, I've enjoyed it a lot, GJ!
First rule of RPS club: always bring some cards with ya. Second rule of RPS club: ALWAYS bring some cards with ya. :) Nice one!
Yeah dude! I don't even need the drugs anymore :) It's just more than enough to play this game and get high
"Intense", "Beautiful", "Amazing". Sir, you know how to intrigue :) And by the way you are totally right. For me it was really enjoyable playing process! And the engine used.. daaamn :) You are tough! GJ
Haha. By far this is the most "incompatible genre" game that I've played on LD41 :) Nicely done! It actually requires a bit of concentrating skills to get used to. Playing 2 games at once... fascinating. The dialogs are written with a good humor, and I loved the shape of the map :) Well done pals!
Stressful is the right word :) I've managed to deal with 4 before get killed. Just keep the distance guys :) Also it would be nice to had the GO button located somewhere near the action buttons. I was moving my mouse from side to side like a crazy :) But it's just a details. Good job!
Good. I was prepared to see the scary girl from the Ring movie in the end. You know as in a famous flash game with labyrinth :) But it turned out well!
