I'm missing Unityplayer.dll
Sorry about that! fixed it.
Phones have invaded our lives even in space! excellent!
Very nice game. I loved the music and the mood overall :)
And remember kids, do not try this in RL :)
Hard game! I think i got hit by a meteorite many times, since i wasn't sure where i died to. Liked graphics and sounds! The concept is also very original.
HTML5 version added. No changes, just new build.
Thanks for the WebGL build, good preview before downloading the windows build
I like the idea behind this - but found no matter how little attention I paid to the phone I couldn't work out the driving mechanic regardless! The meteorites seemed to come into my vision from nowhere without me having time to evade. If it were possible to notice the meteorite and quickly evade that would have made for a better mechanic in my opinion (and, as it is, it is quite possible if you drive correctly that _is_ possible, but if so the mechanics of driving aren't well sign posted enough).
Another note - I tried to see if I could just stop the ship in order to just play the date sim - so I began by pressing "backwards" a few times. After doing this, I then seemed to fly right through about five meteorites before I crashed into one. Also, on a couple of occasions, the "oh no!" screen popped up without me ever seeing an asteroid!
@jf1989 Oh, it's quite much to just keep moving and it's a lot less likely a meteor will hit you. The idea was to keep the player on the constant move. Also the arrows left and right thrust the ship to the sides, which helps evading. Of course the more diamonds you gather, the more difficult it gets.
Also, take note of the timer on the phone. It depletes if the phone isn't touched (clicked) and will trigger the death screen if at zero.
The message under this is very cool :D
Game really stressed me! But the idea is very well put together. I smiled when I saw the "I'm a gamedev" part, cause all of your players can relate to that!
LOL real world problems. Interesting good job
Really enjoyed the flying/harvesting, very relaxing. And exploring the different options/responses with Tammy. One critique: sometimes I would die while I was flying but I wasn't sure why? (More feedback about potential collisions, at least when not texting) I love how the control scheme really reinforced the central idea.
Original concept, pretty cool. Bit tedious at times
Was pretty hard to get the hang of the controls, but definitely enjoyed it!
Impressed a my match by telling here I am into game dev. Just as thing went well I got hit by a meteor.
The controls were a bit hard to grasp at first, but after a bit of practising I was able to handle them. So times I would look to long at the phone and would get hit as result, so it sends the message of "don't text and drive" very well :stuck_out_tongue:.
It would be could to see some sort of "Meteor inbound!" warning message or a radar showing meteors around. Sometimes I got hit in the back and couldn't react.
I loved exploring the paths with Tammy and finally got me a date! Cool concept, played it multiple times!
It felt really difficult to avoid asteroids even without paying attention to the phone, which may have diminished the message somewhat, but I have a feeling that might just be me being bad at driving. Is there meant to be a way to put the phone down? I couldn't really see any control for that.
Great game!
It took me a bit to understand the controls of the ship but after that it was smoothly. Nice dialogs.
Huh, this was actually pretty fun. The constant balancing between the phone and spaceship constantly kept me paying attention, and I enjoyed it consistently. It had a bit of a learning curve, and the main problem that I saw was that asteroids would come from angles I couldn't see. It would have been nice to not just have clearer vision, but also a greater field of vision, when not looking at your phone. Otherwise, the spaceship controls were good, and the gameplay was incredibly fun. Great job!
raamen buritoo?
i liked your game. the spaceship gameplay still weird to me, but the cellphone messages are really funny
@shp oh yes! The perfect combination in indulgent yet trashy vegetarian cuisine.
Great game. I found the game very fun to play the controls were good and i loved the fact that when your 'typing' on the phone you lose focus on whats happening in front of you. This game also shows you why you should not text and drive. The fact that you made this in 48 hours amazes me. Well done.
Cool concept, interesting to see how much it's hard to do 2 things in the same time, overally solid entry, congratz
Nice idea! If I were to choose soundtrack I think this game definitely needs a vaporwave on background, fits the aesthetics
Haha, I crashed so many times. If only they had auto-pilot or proximity sensors in space, because I am a lousy multitasker.
This is an excellent take on the theme, really enjoyed it, perhaps a little too hard for me though.
Very great game concept and very challenging. I like it ^^
really fun! love the 80s aesthetic!
Really fun I enjoyed this it was interesting
