Nice take on the runner game. Art is very effective.
Could use some visual cue as to what those blue things are. Interesting concept.
One thing I learned during this project is that Unity's physics are excellent at producing these wind-blown dollar bill effects.
Very interesting, creative, throwing money fun! It's even better to beautify art a little more.Well well done:)
Your game is a lot of fun. I only managed to get a highscore of ~3500, nowhere near 13k  At some point it gets hard to see the cars through the pick-up items. The art is basic but does its job perfectly. Even though the music gets a bit repetitive but the gameplay is so hooking that I'm still not done trying to beat your score
I have a lot of fun! Very good game!
Nice game. I liked that the right arm waved like you were really running. Audio could be a bit better. Too hard for me though!
I really like how you interpreted the theme and what you did with it! Very creative. I also had a little trouble seeing the cars through some of the power-ups when they started to come more frequently. It was also sometimes hard to judge the speed the power-ups and cars were moving, but I probably just needed to practice more. A literal idea to expand the game could be to have wider streets in later levels so you have to traverse multiple lanes of traffic to make it rain. Good work!
A fun infinite runner and take on the theme. I liked how you have to look and shoot to the side while paying attention to the obstacles and ammo in the middle. Nicely done!
It's like reverse temple run! That was a good game with a very interesting take on the theme. Well done!
It wasn't immediately obvious to me that "More Ammo" meant increasing my money capacity. I thought it was just another way of saying "Reload" until I noticed I had a higher money capacity than I started with. I'm not sure what to replace it with, though. "Bigger Wallet" maybe?
Cool, haven't seen anything else like this in the event so far
This game was really fun, I didn't expected that dropping money while runing on the road would be so funny !
However, I find that sometimes, the big amounts of pickups on the road could prevent you to see the cars that are coming. overall, good job !
Nice idea and take on the theme. Really liked the firing cash animation.. very cool :D
I really like the idea and the gameplay is flawless. Music is nice to hear, too. I would suggest some graphic refining. I needed a couple of game to understand why there were walls in the streets (cars are the same color than the street itself), but nevertheless I enjoyed play this game.
I really enjoyed the effort made to make a point about social commentary! LD doesn't have enough of those. The "make it rain" animation was an awesome touch. Gameplay was lacking, but if you replace the graphics it would make for a sweet LD entry.
Developer comment: Robyn's inverted normals on the left index finger are a low poly representation of a scar Robyn received when she was still younger and learning the ways of the rain maker. One day she was training with sharpened metal bills, a form of weight training, and in one fell swoop, Robyn sliced the nerves on her index finger. Only after years of practice and recovery, was Robyn able to dispense cash at near light speeds.
Also If anyone can reproduce the glitch where sidewalks disappear (only happens late game) prove it with a picture, and I may have an interesting play-testing opportunity for you :moneybag:
Somehow, it was quite funny to play for some time. I especially liked the icons ("auto-fire", "more money", etc): they were very clear, easy to discern. Good thing you focused on them (which are very relevant for the gameplay) instead of, say, the cars (which can be simple boxes without degrading the gameplay).
A nice little game man :)
That Robyn is in fact homeless but he is a damn rich man! Throwing money to the poor while trying to avoid goddamn rich cars from killing the best adventurer of the world!
I don't understand, why...why didn't you put the "ca-ching!" sound from like a cash register on reload pickups.
Also the upgrades made it harder to see incoming cars thus i would make them transparent or less wide so the incoming cars would be more visible. And you could add some front car lights which would make cars more clear in this dark environment :)
Overall a great game, i'm gonna play your other games ;)
This is much fun. Would give money to homeless blue blobs again if I found it lying on the street.
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

I really liked this game alot! My only "complaint" is how often the powerups are making ammo not a problem.
I really like this game! the idea is great and it was so fun!
Throwing themselves in front of oncoming traffic for the sake of the homeless slimes... Truly a hero for all generations
Neat game, good job with the difficulty balance. Felt fun to play :)
Not much of a robust game mechanics as is for me, you can just run straight forward and collect power-ups. In my opinion it's kinda strange when nothing forces player to take risks and throw himself in the core gameplay.
Thanks @derpylz @hypp @tddawson @baby-dino-herd @hutchings90 @chacharl @ioleoso @dioinecail @elysiagriffin @c0d3d for providing critical feedback on the game. I have taken everyone's notes into consideration and have just pushed a post jam patch.
*Post Jam Patch Version 1 (PJPv1)* This is a pretty major patch which should improve quality of life for the player with major changes to the item/obstacle spawning algorithm, as well as some graphics improvements, and added controller support. A detailed feature list is below:
-Players can now hold left mouse button to fire even without the full-auto power up at a rate approximately equal to 3 bills / second
-Full auto now fires 10 bills / second
-Changed spawn algorithm to be consistent across devices with varying framerates.
-Spawn algorithm ensures 2 cars will not spawn in passing formation (right next to eachother)
-Added slight variety to car shape introducing some elongated forms (trucks) as well as condensed (bikes)
-Improved visibility of powerups and powerup text
-Added louder/brighter vfx to signify power-up usage and cooldown timer
-Added gamepad support!
-Minor tweaks to skybox and lighting
