That was weird yet entertaining. I respect your use of cut scenes. The crying sun was funny.

The cli was an interesting component of the game. The pace was a little slow.
It's a lot of fun to control that floating character. Very creative residents and interactions with them. The only thing I ever got was a saw from Otto...
Fun little game. Simple and straightforward. Difficult with a trackpad, much better with a mouse.
This is probably the deepest game I've played here. Well done on audio, graphics, and driftwood/preserver placement, as well.
lol lots of fun! Although, I'm a little embarrassed to play it in fear that others will hear me...
I think it would help to update the description of the game. I had to read the comments in order to understand what was going on. Even then, I'm not 100% sure.
What was going on as I played wasn't very clear to me. I didn't see any indication of the value of my winnings, just that the word store was present or not present. I wasn't sure if the rock, paper, scissors game was all there was to it. Making that clear in the description would be helpful.
It's like reverse temple run! That was a good game with a very interesting take on the theme. Well done!
It wasn't immediately obvious to me that "More Ammo" meant increasing my money capacity. I thought it was just another way of saying "Reload" until I noticed I had a higher money capacity than I started with. I'm not sure what to replace it with, though. "Bigger Wallet" maybe?
That game was fun! Seriously, it put a big smile on my face. Feeling like I'm accomplishing something (beating enemies in this case) adds a lot to a game for me. Even a simple AI breathes some life into the game. It was fun to strategize by making the enemies group up so that they would only be attacking from one side and I could hit multiple at a time.
One suggestion for improvement is to allow holding multiple weapons. Maybe that is possible and I just missed how. I ran out of arrows and would have liked to have used a sword that I had previously acquired.
Solid interpretation of the theme, solid mechanics, solid music, solid game. Did you play the instruments for the music?
I noticed one problem. I think I spent all my blood at the store and died from it. After that, I could start the game, but I couldn't move my character.
Well done! It is nice and simple. I noticed that once my health passes 0, I can still move. I was still able to get to the end of the board before the game reset as a loss, and I think it counted it as a win and a loss, resetting the game twice.
Very well done! The game plays well and the tutorial was excellent. I noticed in the tutorial that it says "This is your table" for both tables. Shouldn't it say "This is your enemy's table" for the upper table? Also, having a different color for the attack value than the regular text would have been a little more clear.
Am I the only one who didn't like this game? I'm just answering surveys and hitting people with a car...
Well done! I enjoyed the sound effects, especially. Maybe I missed something, but it was a little hard to figure out what I was supposed to do.
Just to be sure I understand and help others who play, the object of the game is to avoid being hit three times for as long as possible, right? Well done and nicely simple game.
Fun game! It's like laser tag. Interesting interpretation of life as currency. Oxygen is required to live, but it isn't HP or blood, which are more typical interpretations.
Thanks for the comments everyone!
It sounds like the general consensus is that the game is difficult to grasp at first, but is fun once you get the hang of it. I'm glad it has turned out fun for you!
This is the first electronic version of the game that I've made, and I think features that aren't easy on a physical board (e.g. changing the color of a space) have helped people understand it more quickly.
I'd love to make a nice mobile app for it, but for some reason I struggle picking up new development technologies. Instead, I tend to just build it from scratch with vanilla javascript, html, and css.
Keep the feedback and ratings coming! This is my first time publishing a game in Ludum Dare, and I've loved it so far.

@bar Thanks! It sounds like you've been working on some strategy. I don't know if I've come up with the best strategy yet, but if you were playing with a smarter AI you might find that it would try to control your pieces, fencing them in at its base away from your base.
What in the world did I just play? Whatever it was, I liked it. The absurdity of the game matches the absurdity of many human beliefs.
The fails to load on itch for me. The JavaScript console says, "indexedDB database could not be opened", which has been happening no a lot of games, so maybe I need to do something with my browser? I use Brave.
Great sound and graphics! It reminds me of Motherload by XGen Studios
Great music and sound effects! Those centipedes were intense! Excellent variation of the snake game.
It was nice to play a simple 2D platformer. I didn't find the gameplay particularly engaging, though.
Very interesting! When I first started playing, I didn't think I would like it. After a little bit of playing, I started understanding how things worked better and became impressed at your creativity.
I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. WASD and space don't seem to be doing anything.
A very well done game. It has charging and rolling, like super smash bros.
The game is set up nicely, but it didn't feel very engaging for me. Faster controls would probably help.
Great music and SFX! The art style was entertaining despite its simplicity. I spent more time playing this game than most others I've judged so far.
Okay. This is really cool, among the highest levels of creativity. One suggestion I have is to make the objects visible with fully unfocused eyes. That would make it easier to see, but maybe that point is too different from person to person.
Very well done! The music and SFX matched the mood of the game very well, and the game had great mechanics!
I can't play it on itch. The JavaScript console says, "[UnityCache] indexedDB database could not be opened"
@dhim Thanks! I really tried to make the game entertaining. Your game was awesome!!!
@andykswong Thanks! Yeah, the game is pretty easy. I decided to focus on providing entertaining feedback to the player when things like starting, eating, and taking damage occurred. Your game was fun!
@nigeynige Thanks! And thanks for playing my game
@secret-magic-404 Thank you!!!! I'm so glad that my audio is enjoyable :raised_hands:
@asdehielo Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the sunglasses and voice :sunglasses:
@quinn-patrick Thanks!!!
@hamblock Thanks!!
@albertnez
Smiles all around! Mission accomplished! I'm glad that things loaded smoothly for you.
The 'cockroaches' are actually silverfish and firebrats. If a firebrat kills you, then you'll see a report that shows the name. The silverfish wouldn't be known through typical gameplay.
Thanks for your input!
@mighty-mufflon-games Thank you!! I'm all about simple pleasures :smile:
@yellowsalamander Thanks! I had a fun time with the VA :smile:
@togis Thank you!! It was fun to be part of your Twitch, even though my computer kept crashing :dizzy_face:
@dmitriy3342 Great! I'm happy to hear that you liked it :smile:
@hacktier Thank you and you're welcome! :smile:
@sombrero-guy Thanks! :smile:
@mhanapole Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :smile:
Cool take on Minesweeper! I love Minesweeper...
Excellent pace! The audio, SFX, and graphics all fit together very nicely.
I like the resource gathering mechanic
Ha! I really appreciate the unashamed simplicity of this game. You didn't let limitations stop you from making an entertaining game.
Very good! It took me a second to develop a strategy, but then I figured it out. I still had to avoid making mistakes, though
When I try playing in itch, it doesn't load and the JavaScript console says, "indexedDB database could not be opened"
It's cool that you built an RTS for the web. I'd like to try that sometime. The music was good. It's cool that you can zoom in and out.
I can't get the game to load in Unity and the JavaScript console says, "indexedDB database could not be opened". This seems to be happening on a lot of games that I try. Maybe it's my browser? I use Brave.
@verygenuinecraze I got it to work in Edge. I love the audio! I also tried my hand (voice?) at voice acting in my game. It was fun!
Game not found
I like the art. I find it amusing that the rocket sound is just static. The countdown time sound was nice. Very simple.
Very fun game! The music, SFX, art, and gameplay went together very well. Ctrl+W when trying to roll and jump is a dangerous button combination; I did it and closed the tab :dizzy_face:
Very well done! Nice and simple, stuck to the theme, excellent use of puzzles, and the complexity increased at a nice pace. Audio and SFX fit the mood of the game very well.
It doesn't look like the web build is loading at all on itch.
I am a legend. Thank you
I cannot access the game on itch
It looks like I can only dig down, right? That adds to the game, since it makes the player plan more carefully.
