WOW, this graphics is amazing.

The concept is really cool. I think more supirse conditions like "do not accept disease patients" will improve the game. Also the theme is awesome

I like the concept and I'm always in for some gambling 😈

First, some critique: The interface is not quite clear to me. What is the counter above the money counter for? The font for organ and disease is maybe a bit too small. Is audio supposed to be a single sound effect or is that bug? (The effect is really good, though!). Oh, there are also minor typos in the intro.

Now to the good parts!

The presentation is quite strong. Graphics and shader effects are top notch. Great character design and personality! It reminds me a little bit of Papers Please because you too judge strangers by minimal data and possibly decide their fate. A great and gruelling interpretation of the theme. This left a really strong impression with me. The intro also really helps set the mood. Well done!

Interesting game! Graphic and "dialogues" reminds me some 90's adventure ("does church approve?" is 100% Lucasgames stuff, well done!) while the gameplay is more like a management game. I also love the cyberpunkish sprawly scenario.

Drawbacks: gameplay is quite repetitive and slow. More odds and chances would add some fun to the game. A little music or more SFX variety would also help not to be bored during the gameplay.

Wow, I didn't expect to play this for so long! Lots of content, there's random modifiers on days, and some dialogues are hilarious. I got an all-dog day once. What the heck? Ahahaha daj.jpg

I was not really sure what the deaths were doing though, and what the government was up to.

That's a very neat entry, great job! I liked playing your game, I immediatly got into the atmosphere, the storyline, and playing with only two keys, it makes the game really chill and slow paced, perfect for this kind of gameplay. I only have to say that the screen interface is not clear at all, there are a lot of instructions before to remind, so it was a bit hard to get everything together on start. Also the art is so cool! I love the characters, I just think you could have found a bit more dialogues because it is obvious that some different characters had the same sentences. That's a detail tho!

Great job!

Quite enjoyable. Papers please placed in a different world with slightly different goals. It fits very well. Audio and graphics also sell this world perfectly. I think there was a touch bit too much of screen shake. I liked the dog level :dog: :D Sadly after a bit it got dull since I had plenty of cash and could just decline surgeries. I think there should be a bigger limit on the declines. Also I'd lower the needed cash amount or increase the pay along with the risk since there was little tension for the most part. You could also add some more elements to study for decisions and to slow down the gameplay. Overall good idea, fun but too little tension.

Love the artwork. Stunning. Got really hooked on the gameplay. There was a very strong dystopian feel to it. I felt genuinely sorry for some of the people! Especially the ones willing to pay loads of money but have 100% chance of death. I always took the money!!!

I like this game for it's graphics and mood, but unfortunately it lacks a bit of compelling gameplay. A few hints: - get rid of the screenshake. it adds nothing to the game apart from sore eyes - the help text in the menu is shown for less than a second, that's too short. but you wouldn't need it if you had some prominent way of explaining left/right ingame (like in Reigns for example, which was clearly an inspiration for this game - make choices matter: having money doesn't count for anything if you have no way to spend it. don't mark decisions as wrong/right but add something in between, e.g. someone is unhappy with his surgery etc

Hey, that was actually quite great. The art and mood are superb! Reminds me a bit of Papers, Please. Maybe adding some "hidden" information would have made it a bit more engaging, e.g. that the player has to guess the death risk or money they receive for some of the patients, based on certain events for the day, dialogue or sprites.

I had some minor problems with earning money one day, but it got fixed the next. Also, the intro could have used a pass in a spellchecker, but I guess it was a bit rushed. :)

Very good theme interpretation and graphics in the game is awesome! Thank you, enjoyed playing a lot =)

rodobodolfo 2019-05-03 21:42

Loved it! Might need a little balance or maybe icrease the death risk overall. Also as someone said it would be good to jhave certain " hidden" information. I really like the screenshake! Great job!

This was excellent, one of my favourite games of this jam. Great atmosphere, writing, and nice simple mechanics. I like the feeling of moral weight. I think the death counter might be bugged? I think I killed many patients, but it only seemed to increase occasionally. Also, there were too many patients with single digit rewards - they are basically not worth any risk at all, so maybe a lower bound to rewards might be nice. Also, the dog level was a nice surprise. Anyways, great game, it would be cool to see it expanded upon with more consequences and mechanics!

Have you ever tried gambling and did it bring you a profit?

2022-11-26 12:06

I've tried it several times, and it's pretty profitable. I really like betting if I have a little extra money. It's my hobby. When I have free time, I'm always gambling or betting on different sports, including wrestling. I try to make a living from betting, so I always look for the best online casinos. I only play the ones that have the highest ratings and good reviews. Right now, I'm playing at https://casino-mate-australia.com/. Choosing a good platform is very important because I don't want to lose money on fake casinos.
