Thanks for the feedback everyone! I tried to make it a little easier to read by adding some information to the description. I had originally planned to do tool-tips and implement a tutorial screen, but somehow time ran out fast.
I loved this. Some classic Shmup action but with a nice twist. Fits the theme well and the art style is on point!
I was hoping to do way more of a "base building" type of mechanic where you could place stuff manually, but given the amount of time I had left when I got to that point, I decided to skip it.
I finally finished my entry and can rate yours!
I loved it! Ernest is adorable, the gameplay is fun (as you and others have mentioned, the controls are a little difficult). I would love to play a full puzzle game like this some day :D
