Hey the game looks very good. I managed it to get to the second floor, but I'm not sure if I play it right. There is a doom enemy guy and it does not react to me... even when i shoot at him.. is there a sound for shooting? Very good mood.
Hey @psychomonster , yeah the doom guy was just a placeholder, I didnt had time to polish it, it should react to you, but for some reason the navigation doesnt work, Ill try fixing it later. Thank you for comment.
The game have a lot of feature! very stressful walking in the dark into the unknown. Well done!

The game started really well - I liked the instructions on the wall, the atmosphere and the idea to keep finding fuel and descend further I think it would be better to remove the many features in the game, for maybe better polish - I didn't understand the enemies at all, and the game eventually glitched and just stopped
But again, the first couple of levels were moody and the game as very ambitious for a game jam
@atsh I agree, I dont know why, but this time I overscoped it and delayed polish till the very end, but I like the gameplay and maybe will polish it in the future.

An interesting homage to Doom. However, I still did not understand whether I should shoot at people or not. Corpses can also deal damage.
@funbanan Yeah the enemies are very buggy, problem is with level streaming, it breaks the nav mesh and enemy behavior. I will never do it again for gamejam, too many nuances.

Holy moly how did you manage to make this in a jam?! This is amazing!!! Genuinely got unsettled by the atmosphere and had alot of fun!
@sayeg thank you, it was done at cost of my sleep, thats where the atmosphere comes from.
Very cool styling! It took me a while to figure out how to load the gun, but I figured it out quickly) Great job!

Love the old school boomer shooter look. Great atmosphere, very tense. I must admit the controls are a bit clunky. took me awhile to figure how to load the shotgun.

Некий кроссовер Клети и Дума :smile: Визуал атмосферный, геймплей интуитивно понятен (+ ещё есть гайды на листочках в начале). Не уверен, рандомится ли предметы на этажах, но я просто нашел 5 канистр на втором этаже, и спустился до самого низа)) Единственное, что действительно не хватает, это звук хита по игроку. Ещё немного удивило, что противники с автоматами, а дерутся в ближнем бою (но в целом это наверно даже плюс, потому что если кто-то бы стрелял в тебя из темноты, было бы намного сложнее играть). В целом отличная работа!
Мне понравилась задумка и стиль игры, но времени на реализацию как я понял не хватило. Первый уровень с обучением прикольный, мне понравилась идея с плакатами и не навязчивым обучением. Эстетически игра выглядит отлично. Очень сильно не хватает звуков и индикации урона (В первый раз враг подошел со спины, я не понял того, что в меня стреляют и просто умер). Не знаю задумывалось ли это, но на восьмом уровне я просто упал сквозь пол и игра хардлокнулась (Вероятно баг). Уровни повторяются, но для джема это не критично. И ещё хочу высказать своё личное мнение: стамина в играх это почти никогда не весело, я бы не отбирал возможность постоянно бегать у игрока. Если доработать игру, то может получиться хороший проект для Итча, удачи!
@teamofey-izorsky спасибо за фидбек, над звуками я сейчас работаю и обязательно добавлю реакцию на урон. Насчет бага с полом, можешь скинуть скриншот где это произошло, если не трудно.
@shakirovich Скриншота у меня нет, просто при выходе с лифта я упал, умер и дальше игра сломалась. Возможно уровень не загрузился, было темно, так что не понял

@ninjacatz спасибо за отзыв, я сейчас работаю над переработкой противников, до этого я просто использовал плейсхолдер. насчет 5 канистр надо будет посмотреть где это, спасибо .

Cool atmosphere, a reached 7th or 8th floor and i dont know is it planned or not, but level is not loaded, ok, maybe its planned, then that cool, but when i try to fall, i predictable died, but then i cant respawn
That wasnt a problem, i restarted and finished game Screenshot_38.png
If you add some sounds and visual effects, this will be cool game
@neeck-kola Thx for finishing the game, yes falling from level is a bug, Im currently working on fixing it, sounds and some visuals.
This is a REALLY well-done DOOM style boomer shooter game!! As much as I'd love to complete it, I don't have the guts to do so lol.
Great entry on all aspects. Some feedback would be to make the damage done to player or enemy a bit clearer/pop and a bit easier to use the ammo and other items. But for a game jam experience, great work as always (after our Curtain Chaos collab) xD

Pretty impressive! Nice game, good job!
Quite a feat for a compo game! It's very functional, but I wish there were a few more things to set it apart from most FPS, shooting zombies and finding ammo is pretty standard, even though the elevator idea is pretty cool. The graphics are quite good; some walls could use textures, but that actually adds a bit of charm. There was a spot—after going up the tall stairs and turning right—where I couldn’t jump to get to the ammo. I think that might be a bug. Also, the ending is great! All in all, it’s an impressive and fun little compo game. Well done!

Perfection! No notes. Reminds me of Control, especially the DLC that's all in the darkness.

The visual style and polish of this game is fantastic. I didn't super love playing it but I'm not big on shooters. However it's still really impressive work.
Love how this game looks and plays! I have a soft spot for Doom style games and the sparse ammo makes for tension despite the miner zombies not being overly threatening so far as appearance goes. That said, I still found myself jumping out of my skin on several occasions when I would find them just around a corner where I wasn't expecting them to be. Very well put together in general, but for a COMPO GAME, this is a truly impressive feat. Awesome game, great work, I had a lot of fun playing.
