The dedication to the hate on this tower, to the point of climbing to the top of it, smashing through every floor and causing such a ruckus that they have to call in helicopters and ninjas is pretty darn admirable. Something made this personal to the main character to the point where they smash their face into the floor.
Anyway, pretty sick descending game, only nit I can really pick is some more beefy sound effects would complete this for me. My highest combo was around 49 before gettin' juggled to presumably the slammer. Had a good time with Graffiti Tower. :thumbsup:
I love the idea, would love to see different "degradation" on the paint can to get the idea if you need to hit them more. Love the splatters, and the music! Congrats!

better than 90% of the common mobile games!
very fun, i wish there was just a touch more to it, health pool and the ability to die would be good, turn it into a bit of a rogue like, BUT also imagine if like you just kept groing down and eventually started going through earth and rock and then hell and the final floor was the devil you got to smash.

Super easy to pick up and fun to play! I wish the difficulty would ramp up with time though. Anyways, a solid jam entry, good job!
I like how colourful the paint splatters are and the contrast to the tower. I got a combo of x120 or so at one point and I was wondering, is there an ending to the game? Or does it just go forever? I was playing for about 15 minutes before I went and I didn't really feel anything changing in terms of difficulty

Really cool art style! The gameplay is fun - especially jumping around and stunning enemies. Might be even more satisfying if they could be fully destroyed. Felt like it needed a bit more progression and a proper ending though.

I love the rebellious energy throughout. I was a bit of a rebel myself, as I managed to keep the title screen along with it's groovy beats playing while I smashed through the tower (this also made it to where I couldn't die). The gameplay is actually pretty satisfying, and the music ties it all together. Well done! Capture.JPG

Best example of music elevating a game, what a gem
@camer-the-dragon thanks for the feedback!! The game is endless and has some minor complications as you progress, but it's basically just a simple, high-contrast, colorful brawl in a huge white tower (and did I forget to mention that it's endless?)

It was fun and smooth. I didn't manage to go to the bottom though. Maybe having an indicator for the depth of the tower or score would be interesting!

I clicked for the character dancing in a cool way. The music is dope, and the game concept and feel are great. It would be even better if the controls were smoother. Overall, I liked it.
It's cool, it's so much more pure than my slow-paced flying!!

The main character was nicely animated. The jumping felt satisfing, thanks to the good controls, which is essential for this kind of game. It would be very cool, if you could break through multiple layers with one jump, if your timing is correctly. I think it would give the game a very nice flow.
The visual feedback was very good, like the splashing colours or the changing eyes or the spinning effect. You also put in some comments and got a combo-counter. Congrats for finishing your game!
Decent for a first game, is this all procedural? Would be cool to have a stat counter to show how many floors completed. The biggest combo I could managed was sadly 11 :cry:

Nice job! Really love the player character, in particular the dive-bomb and hurt animations!
The enemies releasing balls of paint was cute, but I wish there were a little more to it!
Is it actually possible to reach the bottom?! If so, it would be cool if there were some indication of progress.

Very fun to play! Ypour character is very charismatic and the music rally put in the mood to keep smashing paint against those guards hehe My only feedback is I wish it would have more increase in difficulty along the game.

The music absolutely slaps! The whole game has a modern vibe and a fun rebellious spirit. Smashing paint was especially tactile and satisfying — it added a nice rhythm to the gameplay. It felt so good to smash through multiple floors in a row, though that didn’t happen very often. I kind of wished that at some point I could just go wild, breaking through 10 floors in one go — it would’ve been super satisfying.
I also missed having some kind of endpoint — like reaching the bottom of the tower, or having limited HP and a ranking system.
Still, the idea is really cool! Thank you so much for your work!

Easy to learn game that's not punishing and allows you just have some fun crashing through floors and leaving messages on the walls! Loved the vibe and music is pure fire :fire:

Очень понравился визуал, простой и приятный. Круто вылетают всякие надписи при хитах. Как будто бы я вернулся в эпоху флеш игр :smile: Не хватает только отображения прогрессии (очков за пройденные этажи и противников например), а так отличная работа!

Hahaha perfect :) very good entry and spirit. The music especially is the best I've heard so far, awesome I really love it <3 For 30 seconds I really wished i could spray even more chaos with the mouse along on background walls, and desesperately tried to click and press random keys but it was just in my head ahaha ... wouldn't that be awesome too ? I never ask anybody but please implement that feature XDDD Personnaly the concept of bumping around astonishing guards & drones while throwing paint all around and making the floor crack and explode is getting my brain close to orgasm. I've reached around 53x combo but stopped at some point, I was unsure there is a bottom ? a bit easy maybe, but very promising with a little more juice :)
Really good game - addictive and well done. The aesthetic is gorgeous - simple, but I like it. The background music is tryptic - *yoh yoh brothers! Com' on in the streets...* - a pure nineties rap song. Good enough. One of my favorite entries for this 57th LudumDare session. Add a leaderboard on-line for the best scores, and you have a hit. Thank you for this casual game - and for your comment about my own project. I wish you the best ++
@knarf Thanks for the feedback!! There is no ending yet, but I am already working on the post-jam version. In which I will definitely include even more things to color the tower! MORE COLORS MORE PAINTS WE WILL CREATE A NEW COLOR!!! HAHA!
@geckoo1337 Thanks!! Yeah, the leaderboard sounds cool, I'll definitely add it to the post-jam. Displaying the leaders' nicknames as graffiti, I like it already!
I love headbutting the floor! It's so cathartic! This game has a unique style for this jam, I haven't seen another one about graffiti, but it still follows the theme well. I really like this originality. I also love how fun it is to stun the enemies, and the fact that they don’t hurt you, just confuse you, is a great touch. Great work!
