Fun take on the theme!
Dog name reveal got a sensible chuckle out of me.
I wish it was a bit more forgiving on when interact would work, I felt like I needed to be really on top of everyone instead of at a reasonable talking/serving distance before Spacebar would work and didn't have any prompts that it would
I love Ace Attorney kinda style gameplay
I have to agree that it's a really unique take on the theme, and it heavily reminded me of Ace Attorney obviously :)
love the take on the theme, and I was oddly captivated by the insanity.
Great story, wish I could have gotten to serve the moon as well
Really great visuals and sound from what I saw! I unfortunately couldn't get past the first door. I stand close then it says "ENTER", I tried clicking on it and using "spacebar", "enter", "E" shortcuts etc.... Can you may tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Very enjoyed the take on the theme! I had issues with interacting with the door after the dog was summoned but after reloading and redoing it again, it worked just fine
lol) It was fun. Artstyle is cute
nice game and good dual approach to the theme !
@charl-v Every time I had trouble getting through the door, it was because I hadn't served the summons to character in the scene, so you could make sure you satisfied the requirements. Another commenter also suggested reloading - I never got stuck in that way.
I'm glad you liked the visuals, thanks! I was blown away by how fast Omitsu got those character designs done. So good!
This was a funny and clever take on the theme. I have a dilemma though because when I saw dialogue, I started reading it out loud, and now I have a 7 minute video of me reading the whole game. Not sure how interesting that's going to be for you to watch back, but I guess we'll see when I put together the edit tomorrow :joy:
Nice game, i love the portraits. Some jokes really made me laugh, nice entry and play on the summon theme! Note: i don't know why but when playing webgl on window screen the dialogue wasn't appearing, going fullscreen solves the issue.
@joeshanahan Lmao, well it's always interesting and funny to see honest reactions of the game you made! Specially if we aimed to cause some reaction/surprise, etc. So I highly appreciate you made a video playing our game :)
Really fun and Ace Attorney
Didn't expect to see Ace Attorney in this jam, but here it is.
I loved how you incorporated the concept of summoning into this game, and the humor was also on point! Great job!
I uploaded my playthrough to YouTube, I cut it down a bit from the full thing, but hopefully you still find some entertainment value :joy:

@joeshanahan This is fantastic. Thanks for playing!
Hehehe talking dog) I just wish a little more involvement, a single "choose an answer" can do) And, as previous comments said, such a unique interpretation of summoning) well done)
@rita-pressanykey Yeah, we had planned a lot more, actually the planned gameplay was about interacting with people (or animals) to find the right witnesses and summon them to court, also we were thinking on maybe using a time restriction, and some people would just say no, so you had to use your powers to summon them before the time runs out, or even use your powers to summon insane things like the moon. But sadly our unity dev quitted in the process so we had to take more work, and the scope was kinda big. Oh well.
I wish you can continue the story, since the story gets more delightfully absurd. An absurdist comedy visual novel needs to be finished. This comes from a fellow visual novel developer.
The audio was great, really suited the game. Although I wish there could've been room for a little more variation, like being able to to choose how to respond or summon each witness etc. but still had good humour :)
Nice novel take on the theme. Whatever art was there looked really nice, but the rest looked rushed even for a game jam game. I think you should use royalty free art assets if you don't have time to draw everything, instead of compromising by having good art mixed together with a lot of placeholder assets.
@moonlightbomber we have no plans on finishing it yet, but still glad you enjoyed it!. @rubymc222 yeah Jason did an amazing work with the theme and story. @shrillwhip I personally didn't want to use free assets, We did search for background artists though (late), but couldn't find one in time.
process.png it's a funny story. good job.
@thyoi Omg! I love it, thanks for the cute art!
This made me laugh like no jam game before :D Thank you!
