@victorcrafty Thanks for your review. The game was a lot easier in my head when I imagined it 60hours ago...
I just created a web page with the walkthrough (http://nathanistace.be/ludumdare/44/walkthrough/), maybe it will be a nice help if you want to give it another try!
I tried to understand the game, but struggled a bit. Your walkthrough helps, but it's still challenging. Good job anyway and unusual idea!
This is an interesting, a bit difficult(really hard) game) Great job~! And thanks for walkthrough!
Love the game, somethings are a little unclear but once you figure that out it's pretty fun. Sadly, theme doesn't seem to be incorporated very well
@itsduckyyyy I'm sooo happy to read that someone loved my game  ! Indeed, the theme didn't really inspire me at first, so I started with a concept I had wanted to implement for a while, and added the maintenance part over it as an attempt to match the theme. With more time, I'd have tried to create more levels in which you need to think further to destroy your robots. Thanks for review!
This is a lot of fun. I enjoy this sort of puzzle game. I understood how to get it working without the walkthrough, though it probably cost me a lot in maintenance testing out what things did.
Great work!
interesting gameplay. definetly something you can go forward with. realy nice! :dog: i have to say, after i first played this, my mind cant realy stop thinking about it, 7 hours later. there was just something realy interesting about the gameplay. and i do like my puzzles :dog:
I love games where you program things, and this game's depth is very impressive for 48 hours! However, I think some room for experimentation is essential for games like this to be fun. I like the idea of this, a lot, but I find it a bit too punishing, making it pointless to continue playing if you miss even a single step.
I have given up trying to clear it in one go without cheating and looking at the walkthrough, but I still want to say this is some great work!
@toasteater I completely understand how you feel, I am myself annoyed that it turned out to be frustrating because of the difficulty. I think that my attempt to stick with the theme was a bad idea, and finished with constraints that are not working with the genre; if I could do it over again, I would accept a 1-star rating for the theme but make something that is more enjoyable. Anyway, thanks for your review, and I hope that you still had some fun with it :)
Very difficult, but I really like the creative interpretation of the theme.
Grate game man i love the programming of the robots had me hooked. i sucked at it got to like level 5 i think really enjoyed it. Great work
@nate-prince you don't suck if you reached level 5! Most of my friends who played it got stuck at level 3 x).
Thank you for your reviews!
Interesting concept and well executed too! Would be a cool tool to help teach kids how to program. Thanks for sharing!
I like how you start your game description by saying it is difficult hahah. Well done, you've made me play a programming game after programming for 48 hours. Seriously, it is a good game, I like the mood and graphics. Had to give up on level 6 when my brain started to hurt but I enjoyed it.
Holy crap a good programming game, nice job! While the mechanics took a little bit to figure out, the only real negative I can think of is the currency-related stuff which you've touched on above. I never felt bored with this one and the hover tips on top are very helpful too.
I think this game could be expanded on in the future and still be fun!
Really cool idea. There is a big jump in difficulty between level 2 and 3, but otherwise, this felt very polished. I was a bit bummed out when I suddenly lost the game due to maintancy costs. I think this would be a much more fun game if it didn't have to follow the theme.
Music is awesome :)
Love it.. :) The puzzles are nice.. Glad you linked to the walk-through. ;) Very well done  :D
Really impressive programming game! Definitely hard, but I'm amazed out how fully-featured it is. I can spend hours trying to solve these kinds of puzzles; really good work!
Uhhh, this game is hard - even harder when you have no idea what most of those symbols mean (in the movement tab). But I loved it even though I haven't even passed the second level - it has an awesome graphics and I loved the music so much! Really nice game, such a shame I'm such a dumb-dumb :D
On the level where it suggests you kill one of your robots, my second bot walked straight past the flag and into the pit, and then the test was stuck in running with no options available for me. Other than that, it's very impressive! Especially with the short time it was made in. Definitely very hard - I needed to use the walkthrough for level 3, but once I understood how to do that I was fine until I ran into that glitch. Definitely feels like a complete game! I really enjoyed it, and would've tried to complete the whole thing if I could've.
@acearcher I never saw that bug and can't seem to reproduce it. Was it in the original or in the fixed version? Sorry for that :( If you want to see more levels, you can play the fixed version and type "lvl6" which will bring you to the level after the buggy one. Thanks for your comment!
